Chapter 605 - Chapter 604: The End (Final)

"Who am I? Can't you tell, human?" Daniel Davis said mockingly, his tone calm and measured as he stood at the center of the shattered battlefield. Around him, Mahito and the others were trapped within the Mirror Dimension, the altered space leaving them like fish caught in a net.

"You want to eradicate humanity and replace them with curses? I can't help but laugh at the absurdity. Have you even considered the consequences? Even if you succeed, do you really believe curses would continue to exist?" Daniel asked with a smirk.

"What are you implying?" Jogo demanded, narrowing his fiery eyes. His tone betrayed a flicker of uncertainty as he paused his attack. Among the special-grade curses, Jogo and Hanami were the most ideologically driven, genuinely concerned about their cursed kin's survival and supremacy. In contrast, Mahito and others cared only for their personal gain.

"Think about it," Daniel replied, his tone sharp. "Curses are born from the negative emotions of humans—fear, hatred, resentment. Without humans, there would be no negative emotions. Without negative emotions, there would be no curses. By exterminating humanity, you'd be wiping out your own existence."

The weight of Daniel's words struck Jogo like a hammer. His face twisted with confusion as he grappled with the realization. For someone like him, whose sole purpose was to elevate curses as the dominant race, this truth shook him to his core.

"Don't listen to him, Jogo!" Mahito shouted, his voice rising in alarm. "He's trying to manipulate you!"

"Am I?" Daniel shrugged, feigning indifference. "You already know the truth deep down. You're just too stubborn to face it. If humans are gone, curses cannot exist. You're destroying the very source of your existence."

Jogo stood frozen, his mind in turmoil. It was clear he had never considered this possibility. While his loyalty to the cursed race was absolute, the thought of their extinction left him deeply unsettled.

Before Jogo could fully process his doubts, Geto Suguru—or rather, the imposter controlling his body—stepped forward. His expression remained calm, though there was a glint of urgency in his eyes.

"Don't let him get into your head, Jogo," Geto said, his voice steady. "This problem is easily solved. If curses are born from humans, we simply ensure a steady supply. We can keep a portion of humanity alive, just enough to produce curses. The rest can be eradicated."

Geto's words snapped Jogo out of his daze. The suggestion was cruel but practical, and it gave him a renewed sense of purpose. "Yes, that makes sense," Jogo murmured, his resolve hardening once more. "If humans are needed to sustain curses, we'll keep just enough of them alive to serve as livestock."

Daniel chuckled, shaking his head. "A clever idea," he admitted. "But it's a bit late for that now, don't you think? You won't get the chance to implement it."

Jogo roared in anger, summoning a swarm of fiery Ember Insects, which swirled around Daniel before lunging toward him. At the same time, Geto released several mid-grade cursed spirits to support Jogo's attack. The combined assault was swift and relentless, their goal to overwhelm Daniel and regain control of the battlefield.

Mahito, meanwhile, stood back, conserving his energy. His eyes glinted with malice as he prepared to activate his Domain Expansion, the ultimate trump card that could potentially turn the tide. Through a brief exchange of glances, Mahito and Geto had agreed on a strategy: delay Daniel long enough for Mahito to unleash his domain and eliminate him in one decisive move.

"Did I forget to mention something?" Daniel said as the cursed spirits and Ember Insects closed in on him. He disappeared in a blur of speed, reappearing behind Jogo in an instant. "I'm stronger than Gojo Satoru."

Before Jogo could react, Daniel's blade, Han Guang, flashed like a streak of light. In less than a second, Jogo's body was sliced apart into dozens of pieces. His remains fell to the ground, but there was no blood, no viscera—only perfectly segmented chunks. The surgical precision was the work of the Ope Ope no Mi, the power Daniel had mastered long ago.

"What?! Impossible!" Geto exclaimed, his usually calm demeanor shattered. For centuries, he had planned, schemed, and waited. He had finally sealed Gojo, the greatest obstacle to his ambitions, only for this mysterious man to appear and destroy everything in mere moments.

Before Geto could release more cursed spirits, Daniel appeared beside him. In the blink of an eye, Geto's body suffered the same fate as Jogo's—disassembled into pieces with chilling precision.

"Mahito!" Geto's dismembered head shouted, his voice filled with desperation. "Do it now!"

Mahito's face twisted into a grotesque smile as he activated his Domain Expansion: Self-Embodiment of Perfection. The shimmering barrier began to form around him, enclosing Daniel in an inescapable space where Mahito's Idle Transfiguration would guarantee a fatal blow.

But just as the domain was about to close, Daniel raised his hand. A surge of energy erupted, shattering Mahito's domain before it could fully manifest. The backlash hit Mahito like a tidal wave, causing him to cough up blood as his body trembled uncontrollably.

"You rely too much on your technique," Daniel said, his tone dripping with disdain. He stepped toward Mahito, his golden conjured sword gleaming ominously in his hands. "Let's see how you fare without it."

Before Mahito could react, Daniel swung his sword, severing the cursed spirit's right arm. For the first time in his existence, Mahito felt pain—real, agonizing pain.

"Does it hurt? Good," Daniel said, his voice cold. "You've inflicted this kind of suffering on countless souls. Now it's your turn to endure it."

As Mahito writhed in pain, Daniel turned his attention back to Geto—or rather, the parasitic brain controlling his body. Using the Ope Ope no Mi, Daniel extracted the brain from Geto's skull, revealing the grotesque organ that had orchestrated so much chaos.

"So this is the real mastermind," Daniel muttered, inspecting the brain closely. "A cursed spirit with a unique technique, capable of taking over bodies and accessing their abilities. You've been pulling strings for centuries, haven't you?"

The brain, which called itself Kenjaku, let out a sinister laugh despite its precarious situation. "You think you've won, human? My plans are far-reaching. Even without me, the wheels are already in motion."

"Perhaps," Daniel replied, a faint smile on his lips. "But you won't be around to see them through." With that, he tossed Kenjaku into a carefully inscribed alchemy circle. The array flared to life, trapping the parasitic brain in a containment spell designed to extract and purify its cursed energy.

With Kenjaku contained, Mahito incapacitated, and Jogo and Geto neutralized, Daniel turned his attention to the remaining cursed objects and cursed spirits in the Mirror Dimension. Using his alchemy skills, he combined the cursed energy of Sukuna's fingers, the remnants of Jogo and Hanami, and Kenjaku's extracted energy to forge a Philosopher's Stone.

"This will come in handy later," Daniel muttered, pocketing the newly created artifact.

As Daniel exited the Mirror Dimension, he found the Jujutsu world in chaos. News of Gojo's sealing had spread, and the higher-ups at Jujutsu Tech had wasted no time issuing orders. Among their decrees was the execution of Yuji Itadori and the death sentence for Principal Yaga Masamichi. The absurd charges included accusations that Gojo and Geto had conspired to create the Shibuya Incident and the previous Night Parade of a Hundred Demons.

The execution order was handed to none other than Yuta Okkotsu, the second strongest sorcerer after Gojo. The higher-ups believed they could manipulate Yuta through binding vows and promises of power, unaware that he was fiercely loyal to Gojo and would never harm Yuji.

As Daniel surveyed the unfolding events, he couldn't help but smile. "Let them make their moves. They don't realize they've already lost."

The stage was set for the next battle, and Daniel was ready for whatever came next.
