Chapter 604 - Chapter 603: The End (Conclusion)

"This weapon seems like it's perfect for you," Daniel said as he approached Nobara Kugisaki, holding the strange sword he had just taken from the defeated yellow-haired man. The sword, whose hilt resembled a human hand, was handed to Nobara with a subtle smile.

This weapon wasn't ordinary—it was a cursed tool created by Jogo Tanizaki, the deranged yet highly skilled curse tool craftsman infamous for declaring his intent to turn Gojo Satoru into a coat rack. Despite his eccentricities, his craftsmanship was undeniable. The sword was specifically designed to complement the yellow-haired man's technique and abilities.

Given Nobara's recent defeat, it became apparent why she had struggled. First, the yellow-haired man's cursed technique, Stored Miracles, allowed him to escape dire situations repeatedly, and second, this sword gave him a tremendous advantage. The blade could channel cursed energy for remote attacks, making it particularly dangerous in combination with his technique. Nobara, while formidable and having trained in breathing techniques, lacked the regenerative capabilities of Reverse Cursed Technique. This made her vulnerable to both the cursed tool's long-range attacks and the "miracles" that turned the tide against her.

"Your technique and this sword are a perfect match," Daniel continued. The sword's remote attack capabilities paired perfectly with Nobara's Straw Doll Technique, allowing her to curse her enemies from a distance. It was almost as if the sword had been custom-made for her.

It reminded Daniel of Hidan from Naruto, whose ability to control weapons remotely made it easier to collect blood for his curses. With this sword, Nobara's combat potential would undoubtedly increase significantly.

"Go help with evacuating the trapped civilians. They need support. Be careful—there are still a lot of modified humans in the area," Daniel instructed, pointing Nobara in the direction where her help was needed.

His Observation Haki revealed that the most pressing threat for the jujutsu sorcerers at the moment wasn't curses but the overwhelming number of modified humans. While individually weak, their sheer numbers—hundreds of them—made them a significant danger. Among them were specially crafted modified humans, creations of Mahito's Idle Transfiguration. These particular ones had their souls extensively altered, drastically increasing their strength, though at the cost of their lifespan. Many had only days to live, but that was long enough to cause havoc.

Mahito's Idle Transfiguration was a terrifying ability, particularly effective against ordinary humans. By manipulating souls, he could create armies of monsters almost effortlessly. Shibuya had become a battlefield where these modified humans roamed freely, causing panic among the civilians who could see them, unlike curses.

"After this, the official explanation will probably be some kind of virus outbreak," Daniel muttered. The true nature of curses and jujutsu would undoubtedly remain hidden. Revealing such truths would plunge society into chaos.

"Got it," Nobara replied, grabbing the sword and heading toward the direction Daniel indicated.

As Nobara disappeared into the chaos, Daniel turned his attention toward the underground levels of Shibuya Station. Along the way, he passed piles of modified human corpses, evidence of intense battles. Eventually, he stumbled upon Mei Mei, wielding her massive axe with unparalleled precision. The battlefield was littered with more fallen modified humans, and Mei Mei stood unscathed, her brother Aoi Mei clapping and showering her with compliments from the sidelines.

Watching this scene, Daniel felt a pang of disbelief. "This... feels like a comedy skit," he muttered.

Mei Mei, someone Daniel knew to be fiercely pragmatic and obsessed with money, didn't seem the type to wade into battle like this. He had always assumed her primary strength lay in her cursed techniques. But seeing her now, it became clear she was also an expert in physical combat. Her strength and technique were so overwhelming that even someone like Aoi Todo would likely find her a difficult opponent.

The truth was that many underestimated Mei Mei. Her obsession with money made her appear superficial, leading some to assume her rank as a Grade 1 sorcerer was obtained through backroom deals with the Jujutsu higher-ups. Those who made this assumption often paid for it with their lives.

In reality, Mei Mei was not only incredibly strong but also intelligent. Her desire for wealth was secondary to her survival instincts. She knew that without her life, money was meaningless, and much of her income was invested into her own growth. Combined with her brother's long-range teleportation technique, Mei Mei was practically untouchable unless faced with an outlier like Gojo Satoru.

"Are you here to watch, or are you just bored?" Mei Mei asked with a sly grin, her axe resting on her shoulder after she dispatched the last modified human.

"I'm just waiting for my moment to act. It's not my turn yet," Daniel replied casually.

Despite her mercenary-like persona, Mei Mei was trusted by Gojo and privy to his plans. She played a key role in deceiving the Jujutsu higher-ups into believing Gojo's staged scenarios, leveraging her greed-driven reputation to avoid suspicion.

Before Mei Mei could respond, Daniel suddenly frowned. His Observation Haki picked up something alarming. "A Special Grade curse just appeared. I need to leave," he said, nodding at Mei Mei before vanishing from her sight.

"Quite an interesting one," Mei Mei mused with a smile, watching him go.

In the underground levels of Shibuya Station, Nanami Kento, Megumi Fushiguro, Naobito Zen'in, Maki Zen'in, and Takuma Ino were locked in a fierce battle against Dagon, a Special Grade curse born from humanity's fear of the ocean. The group initially held the upper hand, pushing Dagon to the brink of defeat. However, the tide turned when Dagon activated his Domain Expansion, trapping all five sorcerers inside.

"This thing's appearance is disgusting," Daniel muttered as he arrived on the scene. He gazed at the black, orb-like barrier that marked the boundaries of Dagon's domain. The curse's form—a humanoid with an octopus-like head and bat-like wings—was a grotesque amalgamation that immediately reminded Daniel of entities from other dimensions. Kamar-Taj's knowledge of dimensional beings had prepared him for many horrors, but this sight was still unsettling.

"Time to end this," Daniel said, stepping forward. He clenched his fist and punched the domain. A deafening crack echoed as fractures spread across its surface like a spiderweb. In mere moments, the domain shattered into countless fragments, dissipating entirely.

With the domain broken, the five trapped sorcerers reappeared, battered and bloodied. Their earlier dominance had evaporated the moment they were drawn into Dagon's realm, where he could summon an endless army of oceanic Shikigami. Even the strongest of them had struggled to survive.

"Take him down now!" Nanami shouted, seizing the opportunity created by the shattered domain.

Without hesitation, the team launched a coordinated assault. Maki and Naobito charged in first, forcing Dagon into a defensive position. Nanami, utilizing his Ratio Technique, struck the critical weak points on Dagon's body, dealing devastating damage. His ability to create "critical hit points" was akin to triggering massive damage in a video game. Within moments, Dagon was overwhelmed and destroyed.

"It's done. Time to head to the main event," Daniel muttered as he turned away. He could sense that the remaining modified humans were no longer a significant threat. With most of them eliminated, the remaining task was simply evacuating civilians and cleaning up the aftermath.

Ignoring the calls of the sorcerers behind him, Daniel left the group and made his way deeper into the station, toward the fifth basement level.

When Daniel reached the lowest level, the sight was harrowing. Corpses littered the area—both civilians and modified humans. The sheer scale of death underscored the brutality of the battle. At the center of it all, the remaining members of the curse alliance—Mahito, Jogo, and the imposter Suguru Geto—stood around a small box embedded in the ground. It was the Prison Realm, the cursed object they had used to seal Gojo Satoru.

Although Gojo was trapped, the alliance wasn't celebrating just yet. Gojo's immense strength made fully sealing him a challenge, even for the Prison Realm. For now, they couldn't move the box, and the effort to suppress him was ongoing.

"Gojo Satoru has been sealed," Daniel announced, stepping into the open. His voice echoed throughout the station, catching the curse alliance off guard. They turned to him in surprise, their gazes narrowing in suspicion.

"I need time to secure him. Buy me that time," the imposter Geto ordered, his confidence unwavering. With Gojo sealed, there was no one left in the Jujutsu world who could rival him—or so he believed.

"Who are you?" Mahito asked, his eyes narrowing as he prepared to attack. Though Geto dismissed Daniel as insignificant, Mahito's instincts warned him otherwise.

"You ignored me once. That was your mistake," Daniel said, a hint of irritation in his tone. Raising his hands, he activated his own "domain."

The air around him cracked and shattered like glass, creating a fragmented, otherworldly space. It wasn't a true Domain Expansion—it was the Mirror Dimension, a Kamar-Taj technique that functioned similarly. Though it lacked the enhancements of a proper domain, it served as a battlefield where Daniel had full control.

"Let's see if your arrogance holds up," Daniel said coldly.

Mahito, ever confident in his abilities, lunged at Daniel, reaching

out with his Idle Transfiguration. His intent was clear: to manipulate Daniel's soul and reshape his body into something grotesque. But before Mahito could make contact, Daniel disappeared.

"What?!" Mahito exclaimed, confused. He looked around, only to feel a fist collide with his face a moment later, sending him flying.

"Your technique is useless against me," Daniel said, his tone calm. "You toy with souls, but I've fought beings far more terrifying than you."

As Mahito scrambled to recover, Daniel stood his ground, his expression unchanging. This was just the beginning.
