CHAPTER 17
ALEXIA P. O. V
I looked up into that all so familiar Emerald eyes before me, the one that feels like a Never ending abyss that drowns me each time l looked at him, his scent that makes me go crazy anytime l'm near him, l realized he just came out of the shower cause his hair was dripping wet and there were drips of water falling from his perfectly sculptued face and dropping into mine, he was wearing a bathrobe which wasn't properly tied and l could see his abs hiding there.. but then reality hit and l realized the position we were in, and quickly try to stand on my own feet but the ground was so slippery
"I am so so sorry for coming inside here Mr Slade I promise it will never happen again" I managed to say while still trying to stand on my own two feet
"Please l never meant for any of this to happen but l was told to..." I wasn't able to complete my statement before l slipped on something once again and fell backwards not before l grabbed him then l felt the freakishly cold water, l fell into a freaking bathtub. Because of the incredible shock l felt from the cold water l tugged harder on him and this next thing l knew l felt his lips on mine, we were... Kissing!!!
It felt like an electric surge flow through my entire body and my insides just exploded it was all so shocking that l choked... Yeah totally embarrassing, l pushed him away to get up l was completely drenched and trying to regain my stance, composure and most of all my head it was a total mess
Getting up from the tub this overwhelming cold envelope me as folded my hands trying to heat up myself up but l know it was no use till l felt this warm thick towel wrapped around me l looked up at him and quickly avoided his gaze l couldn't handle it now that my mind was a mess
I walked out of the bathroom with him trailing behind me, l was still really cold despite the towel,l would need a whole new clothing to get rid of the cold and l couldn't go downstairs because I can't face their questioning gazes, why does this night have to be like this?
"Wear this" he threw his cloth at me
It was an oversized sweater that l'm sure if l wear it, it will hang just a little above my knee but l accepted it cause... Well because I have no other choice. I walked into his wardrobe to change into it and just as l expected the sweater hang just a little bit above my knee even the hands were so big for me but I was really really warm, l walked out to see him already in black trousers and nothing on top, his chiseled abs clearly displaying under the moon light,it was breathtaking..... "Thank you Mr Slade for your hospitality and your kindness this evening and l deeply apologize for the mischief I displayed this and um..... The bathroom incident once again l am deeply sorry and I promise nothing of the sort will happen ever again"I said nervously fidgeting with my fingers
He just stared at me without uttering a single word
"What was that name you call me?" He suddenly said
"Huh?" Tiring to recollect from earliest memory...wait was he talking about that stupid nickname?
"Erm.... Mr... Mr Robot" I unconsciously lowered my head waiting for whatever comes my way
"Hmm"
"Was that your first time" he asked
I was dumbfounded "first time what?"
"You kissed a man"
My face flushed "No" then looked away in embressment
He scoffed" try harder when lieing next time"
I didn't feel the need to answer me l was already feeling sleepy
"Mr Slade, l hope you accept my sincerest apologies but for now l would like to take my leave"
He stared me at me once again whatever I went downstairs and..... It was empty there was no one there l called out for them but there was no answer "did they leave me?" And just then a text came through my phone
" Hey A, sorry we had to leave early, Clara had too much to drink and l began feeling tipsy so Allen gave us a ride back please don't be mad of us, Love ya"
"What!!!" While I was here enduring the most embarrassing mission which they sent me to, they were already gone! Just like that
Whatever, l drove here so it isn't much a big deal but.... Where are my keys? I search and search but to no avail l could swear l put it in my bag l asked the butlers and maids but everyone swore not to have seen it, l'm doomed it was already way pass midnight so obviously l couldn't walk back alone and ordering an Uber right now would be dangerous and l couldn't stay here, l was still busy thinking of what to do when.....
"Ma'am, after explaining your situation to Sir he allowed you to spend the night here" the butler said
"Um... Thank you" I never asked to stay, but l guess is a win win after all l have nowhere to go
"Please follow me" I nodded and followed the butler, he later showed a standard bedroom befitting for a girl like me
"Thank you" I said once again
"It isn't me you should be thanking after all l have no say here l just do as l'm told"
That was true but l was too sleepy to think about anything else that l simply nodded and collapse on the bed, l must have really been tired caused immediately my head hit the pillow l slept off but l could vaguely feel another presence in the room l paid no mind to it though.
