Chapter 4559: You Misjudged Calamity Supreme
What he took out was information; Supreme Boyang did the same the exchange was not some random treasure. Unless it was an artifact on par with the Cause Seeking Ring, Lin Moyu would have felt insulted.
Supreme Boyang did not disappoint he produced a jade token, inscribed the message within, and handed it to Lin Moyu. "It's too complicated to say. Take a look for yourself."
Lin Moyu swept it with his soul sense. There was quite a bit of information inside, and it was indeed exactly what he'd hoped for.
The first thing it covered was his wives: all of them were safe, having been taken as disciples by Supreme Zixing. Now, each had cultivated to the peak of Perfection.
Together, the eight of them could rival a Supreme.
Currently, they were busy with a task for Supreme Zixing. The jade didn't specify the details though it was certainly no simple matter.
Supreme Jin of the South Pole seemed aware, but only mentioned it was dangerous. From Supreme Boyang's tone, there should be no real threat.
Supreme Boyang said, "Rest assured they'll be fine."
The jade dissolved to dust in Lin Moyu's hand. He asked, "Which world are you all exploring?"
Supreme Boyang's expression changed; he was about to reply when Lin Moyu cut him off, "No need to explain, I've already guessed. Even if you get primordial breath from that world, it's still hard to go any further unless you have something else in hand."
He said it with certainty, giving Supreme Boyang no chance to respond.
Supreme Boyang reflected on their conversation and suddenly laughed, "You little fox, you."
Lin Moyu said, "You have to be careful with this. If it ever gets exposed, it will descend on you at once."
Supreme Boyang said, "We've always been careful and so have you. You used to have someone protecting you, but now that person has gone their own way. Even I might not be able to help next time."
Lin Moyu shook his head. "I don't need your protection. Everyone just focus on their own business."
Supreme Boyang smiled, "Alright. By the way, did you handle everything in the South Pole? Lin Moyu said, "Handled. The promise Calamity Supreme made back then is fulfilled. In a few hundred years, Supreme Jin will be free again."
Supreme Boyang said, "Good one less enemy. Calamity, after all, had a good eye."
In his heart, Lin Moyu sneered Calamity Supreme did have a good eye, but they had all misjudged him.
Even if Calamity Supreme never intended harm, fate often interfered things were not up to his wishes.
Many things, not even Calamity Supreme could fully control.
Lin Moyu said, "Since you're here, I won't bother anyone else. I'm heading to the North Pole going to Linbei City to use the cross domain array."
Supreme Boyang smiled, "No problem I'll take you there."
Now that war had broken out between the North Pole and the Central Region, Linbei City had been taken over by people from the Upper Realm. Even Lin Moyu had no right to use the array.
He'd planned to sneak over, but with Supreme Boyang accompanying, there was no need.
Supreme Boyang didn't use a teleport array; he pulled out a flying boat treasure instead.
Supreme Boyang said, "This void boat was something I acquired by chance it's damaged now, not as good as it once was, but it's still faster than a teleport array."
Lin Moyu saw it was a precious treasure, beyond the chaos realm and holding miraculous abilities.
The void boat was likely on par with the Duer Boat ancient artifacts formed by primordial breath fusing with world origin treasures.
Duer Boat was prized for defense; the void boat excelled in speed.
Supreme Boyang activated it with soul power and the void boat immediately shot through the void.
In an instant, they arrived at Linbei City.
Lin Moyu was startled, "So fast?"
It normally took at least five days by teleport array from Central Domain Alliance HQ to Wangbei Border, and another half day's flight from the border to Linbei City even riding Xiao Peng.
Now it felt like less than thirty minutes.
Supreme Boyang smiled, "Not actually so fast. We passed through a spacetime tunnel. It felt like a moment to you, but a whole day actually went by."
Thinking back, Lin Moyu realized time really had gotten muddled.
Still, even a day was incredibly fast.
Supreme Boyang smiled, "Alright. I'll see you off."
With Supreme Boyang's guidance, they entered Linbei City. Alliance rules meant nothing before a Supreme Lin Moyu easily accessed the cross domain array and departed for the North Pole.
During transmission, Lin Moyu used the Hidden Spirit Pearl to cloak himself.
In his soul world, he asked, "Do you know about the void boat?"
Little Tree said, "That wasn't a void boat, it was called a Space Time Boat. It can travel through spacetime."
Chaos Child said, "Back in the day, the only thing as fast as a Golden winged Roc was one of those."
Little Tree said, "Speed wasn't even its strongest point it could attack from the past, striking unexpectedly.
It could also distort time, causing confusion and loss of control."
Chaos Child added, "But so what? It got destroyed anyway. Sure, it was powerful, but in battle it was weak ten blows from it fell short of one returned. In the end, strength decides everything."
The original Space Time Boat's spirit had long since been erased. Now it was just a fine treasure.
The cross domain array took Lin Moyu through the Desolate Scars, once again into the North Pole.
This time, the Hidden Spirit Pearl kept him completely unnoticed.
The white clad enemy who'd blocked him before was gone now Central Region Alliance troops occupied the area.
Their war fortresses floated in the void, cultivators were everywhere on alert, faces grim and tinged with killing intent.
But for some reason, Lin Moyu thought none of these people were strong. It wasn't an illusion; it was reality.
Thanks to the Hidden Spirit Pearl, he moved undetected, quickly reaching the cross domain array and entering its core.
Another Grand Elder from the Central Region Alliance was stationed there, but Lin Moyu didn't disturb him. He slipped into the core and dispelled the Hidden Spirit Pearl.
The statue of Calamity Supreme turned slowly. "You're here at last, and faster than I expected. Do you have questions? If not, I'll leave now."
Lin Moyu asked, "Can you tell me once the arrays are all ready, when do you plan to act?"
Calamity Supreme was silent for a while, then slowly said, "That's up to you, not me."
Then corrected himself, "Or perhaps not exactly you, but rather the fate of the world. I can't give a clear time many things are unfinished, but it will be soon."
Lin Moyu nodded, "There's chaos coming I think this is our chance."
"Perhaps," replied Calamity Supreme.
