Han Youlin's tone was one of utter resignation.
He was typically an optimistic and resilient person, but given the current situation, he couldn't remain optimistic at all. When he thought about the possibility of them suddenly dying, it made him feel even worse. He himself was in such a state, neither alive nor dead, that dying didn't matter much to him, but there were nearly a million survivors he had worked so hard to protect. Would they ultimately be unable to escape death?
