Boom!
A loud explosion shook the city. The sky turned red, and black smoke covered the sun. People screamed and ran in all directions. Cars crashed. Buildings fell. The world was ending.
In a small room on the tenth floor of a broken apartment, Liu Feng sat in front of his laptop, playing a game.
Suddenly, the screen turned dark. Then a cold robotic voice spoke in his mind.
> "Doomsday System Activated."
"Survive, Evolve, and Dominate."
"Pick up attributes dropped by enemies to grow stronger."
"Good luck, Host."
Liu Feng's eyes widened. He stood up quickly. "What the hell?!"
At that moment, the walls started to crack. He rushed to the window and saw chaos outside.
Zombies. Real zombies.
They were biting people. Some people screamed as their flesh was ripped off. Blood painted the streets.
It wasn't a dream.
Doomsday had begun.

Kill enemies and collect dropped attributes to become stronger.
Liu Feng: "This is just like the game I was playing…"
But this was no game.
Suddenly, a zombie smashed through his apartment door. It looked rotten, with pale skin and empty eyes.
Liu Feng quickly grabbed the only weapon he had a metal rod from his broken chair.
The zombie rushed at him.
With fear and anger, he swung hard!

The rod hit the zombie's head. It staggered back, but didn't fall.
He hit again,this time with all his strength.

The zombie's skull broke, and it fell to the floor, lifeless.

A small glowing red and green orb floated above the zombie's body.

But then he heard screams from nearby rooms. His neighbors were in danger.
For a second, he wanted to escape alone. But something in his heart stopped him.
He opened the door and ran into the hallway.
Three zombies were biting a woman and her son.
Without thinking, Liu Feng charged at them and swung his rod.
BAM!
The first zombie's head exploded.
The second turned to him and roared.
He ducked and smashed its legs, then its head.
The third lunged, biting his arm, but he turned and drove the rod into its eye.
CRACK!
All three zombies were dead.

Back on the streets, the city was no longer normal. Cars were burning. The air smelled of smoke and death.
Zombies were everywhere.

He walked through the street with his metal rod, ready to fight.

Then he found a supermarket. The doors were open, but there were growls inside.
He peeked inside.
Five zombies were crawling near the shelves, biting dead bodies.
Liu Feng gripped his rod.
"This is my chance."
He dashed in and struck hard!
The first zombie fell instantly. A red orb floated above it.
He moved quickly, dodging another and slamming its head.
One by one, they fell.
