Chapter 14 - [14] Japan, Here We Come!

-Otto POV-

I went around the Orphanage and asked the Gang if they wanted to go to Japan with me.

Himeko, Lavinia, Valerie, and Dulio were all for it since they love the culture, food, and sightseeing they can do when they get to Japan.

Cao and Vali also wanted to go there to see what kind of magical monsters they could fight over there.

Tough Vali's second biggest reason was for the ramen.

Vali himself is a ramen enthusiast who has done extensive research on ramen and how to make it better. That's what his allowance is going into, since Welt and I just make the training equipment that we use.

Gasper just goes along with whatever Valerie does, so he's on for the exchange.

And Kafka doesn't really care as long as she's with me.

The only person left to ask is Welt.

"Hey, Himeko, you know where Welt is?" I asked her while she was reading a... questionable romance novel about Aliens.

"He should probably be on the ship; he's been working on improving his mechas these past weeks."

"Is that so? Thanks, Hime. I'll see you later," I said as I headed out, not before giving her a quick kiss on the cheek.

I quietly headed out of the house and to the forest where we train secretly.

As I looked up at the clear blue sky, I rubbed the ring on my left index finger.

A light blasted down from the sky, and it began to lift me into the hole from which it came.

-Scene Change: Amphibious Assault Aircraft Carrier, Hyperion, Schicksal Aerial Base-

As I finally got lifted into the camouflaged Hyperion by the gravity lift, I was once again greeted by the futuristic insides of the ship.

After gaining [Truth], we basically had all the technology we needed, so we created an aerial base and a ground base, which is in the orphanage deep underground.

Of course, we have things like teleportation and stuff, but I like using the gravity elevator for the aura points.

[Truth] also gives us access to all technology that humanity HAS made and WILL make, which makes things kinda boring for people such as I and Welt. That's why we only access the knowledge for what we need at the moment.

And with the rest? We'll discover things ourselves.

As I walked through the halls, I saw a maid with black hair, ordering robots where to put things and clean stuff.

"Yo, Elaine!" I greeted her.

She turned around and smiled, "Master Otto? Are you looking for Mr. Welt?" she asked.

"Yeah, I'm looking for him, and haven't I told you that you can just call us by our names?" Elaine Westcott, ex-maid of the Pendragon family and lover of Arthur Pendragon.

"Fufu~ sorry, old habits die hard," she said with a light chuckle.

I've told her before that she didn't need to work as a maid anymore, but she said that being one is all she knows and that she wants to help the group in that way.

"Welt is in his workshop along with Ms. Le Fay and Arthur," she informed me.

By the way, besides building Hyperion with [Truth], I also created my own organization, or is it a faction? As you would guess, its name is Schicksal.

Through the years, I have found one or two people whom I took a fancy to or met by chance and invited under my wing.

That is, including the descendant of this world's King Arthur, Arthur Pendragon, and Le Fay Pendragon. Originally, Arthur left the Pendragon family so that Elaine wouldn't get kicked out since their master servant relationship was forbidden. Le Fay, his younger sister, followed behind him as she was worried about Arthur

Stupid, if you ask me, just take Elaine with you!

Anyways, they wandered around Europe for a while until they landed in Germany. By chance, I met them, and knowing who they were already, I invited them to stay at the orphanage for a while.

They accepted, as they had run out of money for their travels (Surprisingly), and stayed a while.

Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months. Eventually, I revealed that we knew about the whole magical world and shit, they became suspicious, although they gave me the benefit of the doubt since we became close friends.

I offered to bring Arthur's girlfriend back from the Pendragon household and have her under our protection, and BAM! I managed to acquire a holy sword wielder, along with his talented magician sister, before the Chaos Brigade could.

That's the abbreviated version, but it sums up the situation quite well.

I finally reached Welt's research room and opened it to see Arthur and Le Fay watch Welt as he maniacally laughed while controlling what seemed like a Gundam.

"Hey, Le Fay, hey, Arthur," I greeted.

They both turned their head as they greeted each other.

"Hey, Otto," Arthur greeted me with a nod of his head. Bro thinks he's too cool for a hand wave.

"Ah, Hello Otto!" Le Fay greeted me cheerfully.

"So what's the moron so happy about?" I asked them, 'Welt wouldn't be laughing so weirdly if he hadn't done something crazy.'

"I'm not sure if I'm right, but it seems like he managed to make a Gravity-Engine small enough to fit it into the mecha. Now he doesn't need rocket boosters and can fly in the sky freely," Explained Le Fey to the best of her ability.

I see, that's great! A gravity engine is usually the size of a fucking truck, so making it small enough to fit inside the machine is a pretty significant achievement. I mean, he could have created one easily with the knowledge that comes with [Truth], as the bearer gains insight into all the technology humanity will develop, past and future. But that makes things boring, so he seals his knowledge and makes these things by hand.

I could have done it myself faster, though, not gonna lie. But I won't say anything since I'm happy for Welt.

The door behind us suddenly opened, revealing two other people

"Hey, Bikou, Siegfried," I greeted the other two members of Schicksal.

Bikou is supposed to be a descendant of the monkey king Sun Wukong. One day, he left the mountain of flowers and fruits to find a strong opponent to fight. Just like Vali, he was a battle maniac.

When the gang and I were training in our usual spot, Bikou appeared and challenged me to a duel. I obviously beat him and invited him to Schicksal in the promise of helping him become stronger.

So far, I've kept my promise, and he's become an even more formidable opponent than when we first met.

And for Siegfried? I met him when I went back to Italy with Lavinia so that we could visit her parents' graves. By chance, we met Siegfried, who had just left the church.

Siegfried was a test-tube baby created so that he could wield the Demon sword Gram. After that, he worked for the church but eventually left for some reason.

As we met by chance, we had a duel, and I beat the crap out of him despite him having those demon swords of his. After I beat the shit out of him, I invited Siegfried to Schicksal, and he accepted. And with so many strong members in the team, he never runs out of good sparring buddies.

"We could hear Welt screaming like a maniac all over from the training room, so we came to see what's up," Said Bikou with his usually laid-back yet playful personality.

"Meh, don't worry about it, Welt just managed to compress a gravity engine-"

"Let me stop you right there, Otto, Siegfried, and I have an unfinished sparring match, so we will see you all later," Interrupted Bikou before I could give a full explanation. Even Siegfried agreed with him.

I sighed and nodded before they left for the training room.

I looked back towards Welt, who was already getting out of his mech with a goofy smile.

"Are you happy?" I asked

"Yes, I am hehehe~ By the way, were you looking for me, Otto?" He asked as he went back to his calm persona.

"Yeah, the school offered a one-year exchange program for Japan. The others already gave the green light, but you're the only one I haven't asked."

"Japan? Yeah, sure," He shrugged.

"Good, we will be leaving next week, so get your stuff packed up," I informed them as I left them to their things. I also needed to pack up some of my stuff in my room in Hyperion.

After a good walk, I finally reached my room. I pressed the button to the side of the wall, making the door open up.

As I entered, my lip twitched in annoyance as I saw the figure that was happily snoring away on my bed.

She was a beautiful woman with long black hair and a voluptuous body. She also had a loosely worn kimono that was threatening to spill her huge boobs out of it. But out of all, her most prominent feature was her cat ears and tail.

Kuroka Toujou, I met her a while back when I was doing that 'business' I had mentioned earlier in Japan.

The woman got curious about me and followed me around in her cat form. Of course, I was aware of it, and I played around with her. Making her think that I was oblivious to it.

One thing led to another, and BAM! (Yes, once again) She joined Schicksal and has been with me ever since.

Of course, the day she found out that I was really strong was the day she began pestering me about having 'kittens' with her.

Never thought I would reject a woman throwing herself at me. Still, I did.... mostly because Lavinia and Himeko would kill me for impregnating her, but also because I am a man of integrity...for the most part.

Nobody would notice if I coped a feel, right? And I'm pretty damn sure that she would be into it...

"Not there~ faster, Otto, Nya~!" she murmured while drooling even more on my bead. I could feel the vein on my forehead throbbing as I saw her saliva on my pillow.

...Never mind

I approached the sleeping Nekoshu as I raised my hand. With a full swing, I slapped her exposed ass, *SMACK!!!* making her wake up with a yell.

"NYA!?" Kuroka looked around in fear until her eyes finally fell on me.

"Otto, I was sleeping! Why did you slap my ass, Nya?!" She pouted, her cat ear drooped slightly, making her even more alluring.

"Well, for starters, you're sleeping in my room." I replied with a frown, my foot rhythmically tapping the floor.

"It's not my fault that you smell so good, Nya~" she said in a teasing tone, as she buried her face into my pillow, taking in a deep breath. My lip twitched once again. I got tired of her teasing and began gathering some things I would need to put in my bag.

"Computer, Super Bracelet, clothes, money," I said as I began naming what was in my bag to see if anything was missing. I could make them on the spot with [Truth], but what's the fun in that?

Two soft arms wrapped around my neck, and Kuroka hung from my back as she looked over my shoulder.

"Where are you going, Nya?" Asked Kuroka.

"Japan," I answered curtly.

"Japan?" She said in surprise.

"Yeah, we're doing an exchange program for the school. I've never had a proper chance to experience Japan since I've always gone there for... business, so I am quite excited to go there for the next year."

"Really, can I come, Nya?" She asked in, her soft purring vibrating against me.

"Yeah, sure." I shrugged. I was planning on bringing everyone to the Hyperion and to Japan either way.

"Yay Nya~! I'm going to pack up." The naughty cat quickly scurried out of my room. Probably to pack up the stuff she will bring down. She does have her own room here, but doesn't really keep her stuff in there. She has a secret house, which she thinks I don't know about.

"Wait, I'm missing the tranquilizer," I realized. If my memory serves me right, then it should be in my room.

*Sigh*, looks like I need to go back to the orphanage.

-3rd POV: Kuoh, Japan, Kuoh Academy student council room-

"So these are our exchange students," said Sona as she looked at the files. To say she was surprised that they would be receiving exchange students was an understatement, mainly because they were the people who had slipped from her hands time and time again.

Sona was a person who valued intelligence above all else, and seeing that these two orphans, Otto Apocalypse and Welt Yang, possessed it, she wanted to bring them into her peerage.

Thus, using her influence as heiress of the great Sitri clan, she had her people attempt to 'adopt' them. Emphasis on "Attempt".

The first time, when one of her servants returned from Germany, all he said was "Apologies, Lady Sitri, but I could not adopt the targets."

The first time around, she just shrugged it off as her servant being incompetent. But after the 5th time, she realized what had happened. They had been hypnotized in some way or form. They all repeated the same sentence when they returned, "Apologies, Lady Sitri, but I could not adopt the targets." But what was weird was that the hypnosis wasn't detectable, meaning that magic wasn't used. After that, she began her investigation.

Originally, she thought this might be the work of the church, as they were known to have orphanages to find pawns for their plans. But no matter how much research she did, she couldn't find anything. In fact, there wasn't a single spec of the church's influence within their city. With that, there was only one conclusion: a Sacred Gear was involved, which explained why there were no traces of magical energy, as Sacred Gears often run on the user's will and desire.

But who was this mysterious Sacred Gear wielder? Well, who else could it be? It was either Otto or Welt. She didn't know which of the two it was, but it was evident that they were aware of her attempt. And thus, although reluctant, she let the matter go...for now. She had another matter to look into at the time.

And now, after such a long time, it seems like she would finally have a chance to talk with these...enigmatic individuals.

As she continued reading through their files, the door suddenly swung open, revealing a busty redhead.

"Hey, Sona! Wana hang out?" Asked Rias with a smile.

"Not right now, Rias. I have some accommodation paperwork that I have to do for our new exchange students." Sona was already busy enough with student council stuff, so she didn't have enough time to play around with Rias.

There's also the fact that there's been a lot of stray devil activity in the area.

"Mou~ alright," Rias pouted. "Anyways, we're getting some new student, right? Let me see!" Rias rushed to Sona's side with curiosity as she went through the files.

As Sona continued to go through them, Rias's eyes suddenly went wide as she recognized one of them.

"It's him!" Exclaimed Rias with an annoyed tone.

Sona was startled by her friend's sudden claim, "You know him? Which one?" Sona asked with curiosity.

"Him, that bastard Otto Apocalypse!" She pointed at the file that had a picture of a handsome man with his hair tied into a side braid.

The moment she saw that handsome face, she remembered the boy that she had met in Romania so many years ago.

"To think I would meet you again after you escaped, nothing will get in my way of watching anime in 40K," she said with determination in her voice and eyes.

Sona deadpans at her, from Rias' tone, she thought that he was her mortal enemy or something close. But no, she just wanted his 40K technology for watching her shows.

Wait...40K?

Without poor Otto knowing, he had already made problems for himself for when he arrived in Japan.
