Finally, the first chapter. Wow, it's been a long time. I was so focused on this that I forgot to update my other fanfic's lol.
Anyway, here's some IMPORTANT information I need to tell you guys.
1: The updates will be two chapters a week. Yes, I will be updating regularly, a minimum of two chapters a week. One on Monday and one on Friday, well, at least until I finish posting Vol 1, and I have to finish writing Vol 2.
2: Now, if you remember a bit of the beginning in the old one, Otto got the [Core of Binding] as his ability, which was stupid, as he would already get that ability from his system.
And thus, I changed the gained ability to something that I thought would be VERY useful to Otto.
Also, Chastiefol will stay. I know that he'll eventually outscale the weapon, but Chastiefol has many useful abilities besides combat.
Not only can you turn it into a pillow (Which is my favorite feature), it can also heal allies and protect with "Pollen Garden", become a bodyguard in its "Guardian" form to protect someone separately, and also lower its single-target power to multiple targets with its "Increase" form.
In simple words, it's very multifunctional.
3: And finally, I'M FINALLY GOING TO START WRITTING AN ORIGINAL!
I think I've come a long way as a writer, and I've become WAY better at it. I still remember when I used to switch from third to first person mid-paragraph lol. It was a nightmare.
Anywho, you might be wondering, "Will this affect the Jerkmate servers?" No, it will not. BUT it will probably interfere with my fanfic upload schedule in the future; be prepared.

"Ugh, my head hurts!!! It feels like someone shoved a baguette inside my ear and went out the other ear," I groaned as I tried to move around, but I couldn't, or more like I wouldn't be able to at all, since I didn't have a body!
"Indeed, you don't," spoke an ethereal voice.
Oh?
So you can hear my thoughts?
...wait, something can hear my thoughts???
"Indeed, you are quite calm for someone who has just died, but it makes things easier for me. Welcome to the void where your soul shall be judged if either you shall go to hell, heaven, or perhaps something else tough rare," she spoke with elegance.
Oh yeah, I got turned into toothpaste when I tried to save a little girl from getting run over by a truck.
Didn't think much of it at the moment until I got curve-stomped to the sidewalk like roadkill.
Hopes she's fine, though.
"She's fine, in fact, she went on to create the cure for cancer, saving billions of lives. If it weren't for you sacrificing yourself, she would have died in your stead.
... Really?
That sounds...too convenient.
"Yes, now, then let us begin your trial." Spoke the voice.
A beautiful woman with black hair and glasses appeared. She waved her hand, and some sort of file dropped into her palm. She opened it and began to recite what was inside.
"Francis Drake, age 18, English and Spanish descent, has done many simple but good deeds throughout his life, blah blah blah, now for sins... Wow! that's a long list, and it's mostly related to rule 34. But due to you saving the little girl in exchange for your own life, your good deeds have balanced your sins."
Once again, this sounds waaaaaay too convenient. But meh, who am I to complain?
"... So I'm going to heaven?"
"Hahaha-No...definitely not, you're not going to either heaven or hell. Your case is very, very rare here, where your sins and good deeds balance out perfectly. But luckily for you, we have something prepared for these occasions," she waved her hand, and three spinning wheels appeared.
"There will be three wheels for you to spin. First, it is the wheel where you will get the universe we will send you to, the second wheel will give you a special item and skill from one universe, and the third wheel will give you a random system."
So I'm getting reincarnated into another world?.
So those fanfics I read were true!
"Yes indeed, but let's not waste time, go on and spin the wheel." She said casually as she waved her hand.
How am I supposed to spin the wheel anyway? I'm like a floating blob. A soul without a physical body.
"Oops, my apologies," she snapped her fingers, and my soul-like state changed into a full body. Or at least something like a body.
I walked towards the first wheel and looked at it. It had many options and letters on it, but I couldn't read them at all. I'm sure it's English, but it's blurry, and the words keep moving around.
"It's so that you won't try to get a universe you want; it's all random, so let's keep it that way," she answers.
Ah! I see. It's so that I don't try to spin the wheel too softly or too hard, depending on the words written on it and what I want. Basically, it's just a censor for fairness.
I nodded and, with a tug, I spun the wheel. After a few seconds, the wheel stopped and revealed two words where it landed
[Variant Universe]
"Variant universe?"
"Yes, it is a universe where multiple fictional worlds will be put into one, like JJK being in the same universe as High School DxD."
I see, so it's a mashup of multiple universes.
I quickly went to the second wheel and spun it with all my strength. After a few seconds of spinning, it came to a stop.
[Spirit Spear: Chastiefol]
"Spirit Spear: Chastiefol" oh? That's a good weapon, I could probably nuke a whole city with its sunflower form
And for my skill, I got "A Geass?"
[Geass: Absolute Obedience]
Of course, I know what a "Geass" is, but the name is kind of funny. I'm sure this one is Lelouch's Geass, going by the name.
Basically, it gives the user the ability to impose an order on someone as long as I manage to look them in the eye. Once activated by eye contact, the command is embedded, and the target is compelled to obey the order given to them without question. However, each person can only be affected by Lelouch's Geass once.
Essentially, this means it's a one-time use per person.
Anyways, next wheel.
I quickly spun it until it landed on.
[Level system 101-Test Model Herrscher]
"Level System 101- Test model Herrscher, the fuck does that mean?"
I get the level system part, but what does it mean by 'model herrscher'?
"It's a system that revolves mostly around Herrscher's powers, and things of such nature. There are features such as the Herrscher subordinate future, Core support, and many more."
Herrscher subordinate future?
"Yes, that's what it's called, this feature allows you to bestow a Herrscher core to someone who has a close relationship with you and make them a "subordinate". And once you do make them into a Herrscher, you will be able to use the power of that Herrscher," She explained.
Ohhhhhhh, so she means THAT "Herrscher"! I'm surprised I didn't notice the first time that term was mentioned. If I'm right, and I'm pretty damn sure I am, she's talking about the Herrschers from HI3rd.
That's pretty op, I could have a Herrscher army in the future!
"Well, now that we are finished, I should be sending you on your way." With those last words, my world went blank.
