[1st POV | Rose]
My heart was pounding. Not in a bad way, no, never in a bad way when it came to her. My heart was pounding for a different reason. For the simple fact that I was about to speak with my mate about something...life changing.
About the fact that Caroline had just revealed the secret, something that had been open for a while now, was now much more open than before. She had done it on accident, not knowing that the two of us had not spoken about it before, that Hope didn't know.
But honestly? I think deep down Hope did know about it. That she knew we were mated to one another, that we were to be together. As why else would our hearts pound just by being near one another? Why else would we blush and feel like this about each other after just meeting?
It was obvious really. And I am pretty certain that Hope knew it. I think...I think she was just nervous about what it would mean. About whether or not I'd truly look at her in that way.
If I loved her.
Walking out of the restaurant briskly, I turned a corner and found her, leaning back against a wall. She looked like she had just gotten done crying, making my heart break.
"Hope?" I softly said, as the beautiful teen jumped in fright. She didn't hear me, which meant she was absorbed by her own thoughts, making it pretty clear to me that the reveal from Caroline had done something.
Whether or not that was good I am about to find out.
"R-Rose" My mate stuttered, a little shocked that I had come out to greet her. Seems she thought I would just leave her be, that I wouldn't stay with her. That I was going to deny her feelings or something.
Crazy thoughts. As there was no way in grandpa's name that I am ever going to leave her.
"Why'd you run away?" I softly asked, as I moved and stood next to her. I am slightly taller than her by a few inches, so I was staring down at her as she looked up and locked eyes with me, only to glance away.
"Because I was embarrassed, Rose" Hope responded to me. I was confused. What could she be embarrassed about? What, about the fact that Caroline had revealed that we are mates? She had no reason to be embarrassed about that, not when I cared for her the way I do.
"Embarrassed about what? That we are mates? Hope, I knew the second that I met you that we are bonded in some way. I could feel it the second I saw that perfect face of yours" I responded with a comforting smile.
"And you felt it too, didn't you?" I asked, staring at my mate as she silently looked back. I knew for a fact that she had, but I want her to admit that herself, and didn't want to force her or anything.
"...I did" Hope responded softly to me.
"So why are you embarrassed?" I questioned, my hand softly moving to hers as she blushed slightly at the contact.
"B-Because I wanted it to be...magical. For the reveal to be...something special" Hope whispered, as I giggled softly.
Inwardly my heart was pounding as I stared at her silently. My eyes flickering down to her lips, as I moistened my own lips. A thought entered my head, one that would hopefully be magical in her eyes.
And with that thought, I slowly began to lean forwards, Hope's breath stilling as her eyes widened. An adorable scarlet flush coating her cheeks as I leaned forwards and softly pressed my lips against her own perfect ones.
And then I felt it. The bond snapping into place, the absolute glee that was thundering inside of me, as my own instincts were happily cheering as I locked lips with her. My arms slowly moved as they snaked around her back, Hope's own moving to the same spot.
I could hear the soft giggling in the background and the sounds of photos being taken, but I didn't give a crap. I'm more focused on the lips of my mate, and the way our kiss began to get a bit more...heated.
But sadly, it began to end, as we both pulled back, bright blushes on our cheeks.
"So...was that magical enough for you, love?~" I teased slightly, but inwardly I was squealing like a schoolgirl, glee filled as I finally showed her my love.
"Y-Yes...it-it was amazing" Hope whispered in response, as we both heard clapping and looked to the side.

[3rd POV]
Looking to the side, Rose and Hope's blushes deepened in embarrassment as they found their parents and Caroline standing there with grins on their faces, photos being snapped in rapid succession by a giggling Alice.
"So cute!" Alice laughed, as Lucifer just warmly smiled. She felt the bond snap into place between them, and the love that was thundering in their very souls. A love that would never break, a form of true love that Lucifer found to be truly beautiful.
"Took them long enough" Hayley said with a smirk, as she took the cash from a pouting Lucifer.
"They could have been a bit faster, losing me 50 bucks" Lucifer pouted, as Alice giggled at her wife. She had for once gotten her estimation wrong, underestimating just how long they took to get together.
They were both a bit clumsy when it came to relationships, obviously.
"W-Were you four watching the entire time?" Hope asked in embarrassment as she realized that Lucifer, Alice, Klaus, Hayley, and Caroline might have been watching this the entire time.
"Only at the end, Hope. We wouldn't intrude on a personal moment like that" Alice said with a smile, as she handed over the photos to a grinning Hayley who took them with a gleam in her eyes. She was absolutely going to put these in her scrap book and use them to tease Hope ruthlessly in the future.
Alice was going to do the exact same, as she had also been making one as of recent, and it was already full of adorable moments from throughout her relationship with Lucifer, as well as the adoption of her children and everything else that has happened over the past few years.
"Good...I think" Hope responded, wondering if it was even a good thing that they had gotten photos of that. As she had a sinking feeling that they had just provided their parents with very powerful ammo against them.
Ammo that would bring about a lot of future embarrassment.
"Are you okay now, love?" Klaus asked his daughter, staring at her. He wanted to make sure that the talk that they had was able to help fix whatever was going on with her mentally. As he really didn't like seeing his daughter all depressed and sad.
It was one of the worst things to see if you're a father.
"Hmm? Yeah I'm fine dad. I just needed a bit of time to think. And since my girlfriend helped, I'm fine now" Hope responded with a smile, as Rose blinked in surprise at the title given to her, before her face warmed into a happy smile.
With Hope calmed down and the kiss between the two finally happening, Lucifer glanced at the sun above and began to speak.
"Well...how about we get back to lunch?"
