[3rd POV]
The rest of the lunch had been pretty enjoyable all things considered. Lucifer had hung out with Rose and the Mikaelsons for the rest of that day, with Caroline joining them for a few more hours herself.
But eventually she had to leave back to the school. As she decided it was time to start putting some of the changes into play that very same day. She saw no reason to wait, and knew that the longer they waited, the worse it would get for the greater populace of the school.
So, she began to put new reforms into play that day. Like reaching out to some contacts that the Mikaelsons had given her, ones that could give them a steady supply of human blood that is sourced morally, and will not negatively affect hospitals or anything else that might need them.
At the same time, she got into contact with some werewolves and vampires that she knew, and reached out to them with the offer of working at her school for quite a lot of money, as well as the opportunity to support the next generation of werewolves and vampires.
To support them to become the greatest generation, the future of the species as a whole.
The other people she had gotten into contact with was a construction company that worked with supernatural beings regularly, and knew about the supernatural world. This way she could safely allow the students to continue going to school, training their powers to their fullest, while also allowing the construction workers to upgrade parts of the school.
This would all be through the money that Lucifer had donated to the school, or more like invested. The money would then be utilized to build a new field, a basketball court, an indoor gym that was far bigger than before, and various other upgrades that would increase the school from a simple private school into an entire private campus.
By the end of it, Caroline hoped for their school to be one of the largest in the country, made to house as many supernatural children as needed. That way they can teach and support more and more of the next generation, enough to truly change the future of the supernatural world.
But Caroline knew that that was likely still a long way away, as the witches in particular were still immensely racist to the other supernatural species, and would more than likely rather kill and curse them than work with them or let their children anywhere near them. That was the way of the witches in this world, and proved just how problematic they were.
The witch were afterall, the ones that had brought forth the vampires and werewolves that they hated so much. They were the bringer of the greatest catastrophes in the supernatural world, and had hurt more people than any vampire or werewolf ever has.
Making them the biggest hypocrites there is. And even now, Caroline knew for a fact that there were still a lot of innocents that are being harmed by the witches every single day. All in the name of "Nature's Balance" and bullshit like that.
It was just a convenient excuse that they've learned to use. Using it so that they can cover their asses when they do something that is morally wrong, and something they say so that they can feel better about themselves after committing atrocities.
There was a reason why Lucifer did not particularly like most of the witches of this world, because they were genuinely awful. And what made it worse is that they used one of her names to cover their asses. With her being nature itself, or the God of it at least.
She ended up putting into effect a new "System" for this universe. Whenever someone invoked her title of "Nature" in a negative manner to give excuse to a horrible thing they had done, a curse would be placed upon them equal to whatever they had done that was so bad. So if they slaughtered an entire village of werewolves in the name of "Nature's Balance" the curse would inflict upon her great pain equal to that, basically making it so that they wished they were dead.
She believed that it was a fair punishment for using her title like that. To use it to commit such crimes. They would regret their actions for the rest of their lives, that much is certain. Even more so once they begin to lose their magic, for that was the second half.
If someone uses her name to commit atrocities and they were a witch, all their magic would be stripped from them and then would flow back into the world itself. By doing this, nature would begin to naturally heal, and the corruption that was ailing it would begin to slowly disappear, which included the corruption in the humans, normal humans.
It would not get rid of the corruption in the hearts of the supernatural, sadly. Nor would it get rid of all the evil in the hearts of humanity, but instead just the corruption caused due to the weakening of nature and the magic in the air.
But it would be enough to bring about some change. And the rest of it, once the corruption was ripped from the world, would then just flow into Lucifer, passively strengthening her.
And she put this effect onto every universe in the TVD multiverse, therefore meaning her magic power would begin to rapidly and increasingly expand, growing more and more by the day. It would never truly get rid of all the corruption of the world, for that would upset the balance, but it would help a lot.
That and she would get a shit ton of magic from it, hence why she put it into play. She planned on doing this with other universes that had similar mechanics to them, or similar situations at least. This way she could continue to get more power, while helping them in return, and punishing those that deserved it.
At the moment Lucifer and Alice were alone in the house. The kids were out doing their own things, hanging out with some of the Mikaelson family as well as Sirius who wanted some time with his "Nieces".
Which meant that they had time to do something just the two of them. And they had both decided that it was time to head to a new world for a little short adventure away. Time would be slowed in this universe, giving them more than enough time to do what they want there.
And that universe was going to be...Game of Thrones.
They wanted to see the sights of Essos and Westeros. To see the Wall and beyond it, and to see the things that nobody else in that world had seen before. And Alice wanted to also see a real tourney in person as well.
Which is why the two of them were currently standing side by side.
"Where do you want to appear first?" Lucifer asked her wife, as their figures began to blur, the house around them morphing and changing as Lucifer pulled them into the space between multiverses, their figures appearing outside of the Game of Thrones multiverse a few moments later like it was nothing.
"Essos! I want to see the Titan of Braavos, cause I think it'd be neat! Then we could go to Yi Ti and maybe Volantis? After that we can head to Westeros and attend a proper tourney. Maybe one in Kings Landing or the Reach?" Alice suggested, as Lucifer hummed before nodding.
"That sounds fine, love. But what time do you want to appear in?"
"After Roberts Rebellion, maybe when Daenerys is still young, so like five years old or so?" Alice responded after a few moments of thought, her knowledge on Game of Thrones not being perfect. At least, not as good as her wife's.
What she did know is that they were both more than likely going to be seeing a lot of slavery, not something either of them liked. Lucifer already had thoughts about ending that sooner or later. But they had both seen it for thousands of years and many lives, with Lucifer herself seeing it more than any other being except her father.
Alice didn't remember it, but Lucifer did. The horrors of slavery and what it had caused. She had never once, in all of her years of living, done such a thing, no matter what the history books might have said about some of her lives.
She despised slavery with all of her being. For all beings are meant to be free, and not everyone seems to accept that fact.
"Alright then love, let's get going!" Lucifer said, as the two blurred once again, ready to travel to Game of Thrones. And at the same time, she had only one thought on her mind.
'...Let's hope the world isn't as bad as I think it will be'
