Alexander Summers is here to pick up Purple Summers.

Alexander's impression of Maeve was still of heavy glasses, a bulky long sweater, and some cute little freckles.
Yet the woman in front of him now was mature, intellectual, elegant, and poised, wearing appropriate attire and without those little freckles.
Forgive Alexander for his face blindness, he really couldn't connect the woman before him with the little Maeve in his memory.
Purple Summers introduced, "This is my husband, Alexander Summers."
Then she introduced Maeve, "This is Ms. Maeve, the lawyer responsible for this case."
The confusion in Alexander's eyes subsided, as if he just realized who the woman in front of him was.
Purple Summers thought she would witness a dramatic recognition scene, but the adult world is restrained.
