Chapter 446 - Chapter 446: The Felks

"THE GODDESS IS YOUR AUNT!?!?!" The Cookies, aside from Criollo, were deeply horrified at such a revelation. Even Harvard was dumbfounded at what he heard, looking towards them in confusion at her answer.

"As if the Family tree hasn't been weird enough already..." Solomon would state, begrudgingly showing respect to the boy for having a family be as vast and as potentially helpful as his own. Stolas can't help but break down in laughter at the absurdity of it all, while Zazel tried to piece together the family tree he remembered, wondering at what point his parents were able to meet her. Only Criollo felt indifferent, as if he expected this answer from the beginning.

"Mhm! Me and my Brother both knew about your parents! Of course, The God of this House was always adamant about you dealing with such dark arts, so seeing you with such devilish figures does bring a bit of concern..." The Goddess spoke, gesturing its eyes towards the two blatant denizens.

"Oh! Them? They're my friends! They actually saved my life more time than hurt it! They're Zazel and Stolas!"

"Zazel??? As in... Zazel Cal'cul?"

"Is there a problem?"

"Somewhat. My Brother was supposed to be meeting with you, little devil. I wondered what happened to him. Do you know anything about it?" That question made the Demon's blood grow immediately cold, realizing she may have relations with Arthur Felks, meaning he accidentally killed what's essentially a part of Harvard's family. Fortunately, Harvard was able to notice it and try to come up with an excuse.

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... Yeah ah... he ah... he got done in by a different demon. Jesta Spade, actually!"

"...I knew it."

"Wuh?" The boy was immediately dropped as the Goddess became enraged, the mouths emitting a massive beam of sugar, piercing through the walls. Zazel quickly hid himself behind Criollo, covering his ears at such screams.

"I KNEW THAT DAMNABLE DEMON HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT!!! HE HAS TAKEN FAR TOO MUCH ALREADY!! TO SEE HIM TAKE MY BROTHER BURNS THE VERY SUGAR IN MY SOUL!!! WHEN I GET YOUR HANDS, YOU FAUSTIAN BASTARD, I'LL TEAR YOU LIMB FROM LIMB!!! I'LL SCATTER YOUR REMAINS INTO THE WASTELAND YOU CALL YOUR THEATER!! DO YOU HEAR ME!?!??!" Her wrath ended up incurring a new mural within the walls, a depiction of the Faustian Demon being torn asunder, an angel losing its wings, plummeting back towards a void. A hole of absolute nothingness being his new tomb. Zazel was terrified, to say the least. Should he even tell the truth if this was the reaction he was going to get? The Goddess huffed and puffed as she finally became at ease. "I...I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me..."

"Oh, don't worry. We want that guy dead just as much."

"Well... I'm so glad that we're in the same boat! Oh! You must've been a bit restricted though, in such a doughy form. My dears, if you mind..." The Goddess' words, when it wasn't vitriolic, was as gentle as they expected, seeing the soldiers and Flourence leave, the latter looking behind in disturbance as he wondered how Harvard was in such relations. Once the doors closed, the area begins to light up, slowly returning such a temple back to normal, being instead a dormitory with books and papers regarding different places on the Omega Circle and beyond. A massive telescope was also around, letting the Descendants see through it and watch beyond the House, with Lupina quickly stomping out any embers that were left from Harvard's evolution. Their bodies were quick on turning back to normal, finally given back their proper form, with Tsukiya now hogging the Telescope as she'd wave and call out to the beast and the two people outside. Envy couldn't help but sigh as he'd try to reach for a few books, already quick on trying to learn much of the House as possible, with Solomon peering much the same, using Shady to boost him up.

Eventually, the Goddess would finally showcase her human self, a woman in pure white. A corset that tightly fits around her, giving her a slim figure. A cropped sweater with patterns of frosting etched in the fabric, as if painting a heavenly canvas. Her sleeves just barely covers her hands, as she makes sure such hands do not show, letting the sleeves sway with whatever direction she wanted. Accompanied by a maxi skirt that shows more of such decorations, it was clear she was trying to pass off as more so a princess than an actual Goddess. Three hand prints were visible on the skirt, however, with each one holding the specific mouth she once had in her previous form. "So! Tell me, how exactly did you get here, anyway?" She'd ask, her voice just as soft as when she was the Goddess

Harvard would laugh a bit in such nervousness as he'd try to explain his situation on the ground, whilst Zazel was quick on spotting something: A Photograph that had Limosa, Arthur, and her in what looked to be a small village, a kingdom in its making. "Sooo...ah... Goddess, is it?" The demon asked.

"You can just call me Faya, little creature."

"...Yeaaaaaaaaaah, you seem to hate demons just as much, huh?"

"Oh, no, no! That wasn't an insult." She'd approach the boy, and while he was uncomfortable and worried about his own safety, all it took was a few headpats and a scratch right under his horns to immediately calm him down, surprisingly being relaxed in such small scritches, almost being just as docile as her subjects. "I called those to my little friends as well! Creatures that can come from anywhere at any time. From the smallest, teensiest animals, to even the most gargantuan of monsters. Despite all of that, from the sharpest fangs to the squeaky yelps, I will still love them no matter what. Even if that love is to a demon~!" A giggle escaped from her as she'd let the Demon rest on her, almost as if such soothing made him lose such worry or need to move at all.

"So I take it you didn't mind my Mom then?" Harvard asked, as he'd try to help Zazel snap out of his melancholic trance.

"Absolutely! She was my bestest friend in the whole wide world we lived in! Without her, my brother and I probably wouldn't have made it to where we are now."
