Chapter 1 - Most Holy Wish

Wzzz!.

Please! Heavens! Fulfill my wish! A Blonde haired man pleaded in his mind. Tears flowing down his cheeks.

He was on his knees. Hands clasped together.

He was 'Praying'

I, I... Want to avenge my disciple! I can't do it with my power! Please!

His plea's couldn't be heard by the heavens. It was used for 'it' after all.

Then. A memory flashed in the eyes of the blonde haired man. It was a brown hair kid smiling. It was his disciple.

"A-Ah..." His voice cracked. Then he focused even harder.

A weighing scale made of golden brilliance. Illuminating the entire room, even illuminating it better than the moonlight itself. Appeared behind the blonde man.

Energy, no. To be exact, the man's holy power, mana started being extracted from his body. Going into the weighing scale.

And on the other side. Another 'orb' appeared.

———

"Ngh..."

He muttered, blinking. Before opening his eyes fully. He was sleeping, face rested on the desk.

Huh?, I don't remember sleeping on a desk...

He looked around the room. Before the window infront of the desk made him realize the scenery outside had changed.

Green Mountains, endless of them. A clear, blue sky. Old style houses inside tall walls, a large clear lake.

"What... Is this place?."

He frantically looked around. Everything was unfamiliar. The designs. Everything.

Suddenly an ache from his stomach arose. No, his solar plexus to be exact. Then his head.

"Ngh!." He groaned, his hands quickly fumbling to hold his head and stomach. Falling onto his knees. Eyes slowly began to haze, the wooden floor had begun to blur in his eyes.

"What's... What's happening?." He questioned himself. "Angh!"

His lungs suddenly constricted. Breathing became harder.

He stumbled backwards. His back hitting the frame of a bed. He held his throat slamming his closed fists onto his chest. Trying to let air inside at the same time.

"....!" He let out a silent scream.

His eyes slowly roll back. Then every became clear, the pain slowly subsided.

"Ah..." His hands checked his body. It was fine. Then scrambled for his throat. His breathing was fine now.

What... Just happened?... His breathing erratic. After all he was almost suffocated to death.

And where exactly am I?!.

Memories came flooding in.

Only fragmented, struck into uneven pieces.

The holy Kingdom, saint, cheers of celebration, cheers of the people, Unification of the various holy kingdoms under the rule of the strongest saint.

The Holy Saint, Strongest Saint under The Sun and Moon Deity in History.

The Saint, Riento Va Yuert.

Riento? The name of this body?. What is this world! Holy Saint? Holy power?, Mana?. This sounds like a fantasy world! Why did I transmigrate here?!.

Don't people usually transmigrate as the weakest? Why'd I have to transmigrate as the strongest!

He cursed his luck silently in his mind. He sat in the edge of the bed. Nibbling on his nail.

He was sweating.

"I don't know anything at all! I don't have any experience besides these memories that don't belong to me." He sighed, brows furrowing.

I guess I have to accept it. I need to act as this saint. I'll have to thank myself for taking acting lessons!.

But... I still want to go back home. I don't belong here. He abruptly stood up.

"So. Let me get this straight... The hero expedition to the demon realm failed. And the hero went missing?. And the disciple of the original owner of the body I am in died. It was confirmed by an artifact informing Riento.

"Then the memories end there?. It abruptly ends like that?. Even if the memories are fragmented. It shouldn't abruptly end." He muttered to himself. Pacing around the room like a worried dog.

"It's the year 563, 17th day of the 3rd month of the Linyuan Calendar... So about a week after the memories end..." He added. Speaking to himself.

"ARGH!" He ruffled his hair in annoyance. "This is too confusing!"

"Why'd I have to get transmigrated in the first place!." He cursed. "I never asked for this!."

What should I do now? I'm stuck here... Ah Right! I should try whatever those main character's in fantasy novels did!. He moved his body, sitting down on the floor. Legs crossed.

He put his hands together.

I believe this is how they depicted it in webtoons?. I should focus.

He closed his eyes.

He tried to imagine an orb inside his body, which he suddenly infact did see. Holy—what is this? I can see it clearly!.It's like it's right infront of me!.

But why is it cracked? All three of them?. He asked himself, as he clearly saw all three orbs, or what he would call dantians cracked. Empty.

Just what did this owner do?! Argh!! Now I have to fix this? I don't even know how!.

He complained inwardly, groaning.

He stood up. "I should do something about that later!."

"I'm way too lazy to do anything about this."

He paced around the room, gathering his thoughts.

"I'm Riento now. I'm the saint."

"First things first. I should look around. Second, I should fix this problem with this Dantian of mine. Yeah, I should probably call it Dantian. What they call the Dantian here wasn't included in the memories I got." Riento muttered

"I need to get used to this place first." He coughed a few times to adjust his voice.

He walked towards the door, catching a glimpse of his face. He abruptly stopped in his tracks.

Hold on... Did I see that right?. He turned his head back to the mirror, seeing his face once again.

Running to the mirror, touching his face all over.

"HOLY—"

He put a hand over his mouth, stopping himself before he shouted.

Why is this body so handsome?! And it's tall too!

The blonde hair of the person in the mirror shone and reflected the light coming from the window.

A nose so straight it looks like it was directly carved by a person to look perfect, eyes that were so beautiful one might think it was a woman's.

A jaw so sharp it was like the edge of a knife, eyebrows so thick it looks like it's hair. Muscles that could be seen even with clothes that Riento worn.

A face so beautiful and handsome that both genders would fall in love with him.

This is unfair! I wasn't this tall nor handsome!Damnit!

He cried.

———

He wiped his tears, gaining control of himself once more.

He sighed. "I just have to accept it. It's a win for me too. I get to live in this body."

Suddenly someone knocked on the door.

Riento turned his head immediately to the door. He blinked a few times.

"Hello?, saint Riento. Are you inside?." The voice outside the door asked.

The voice snapped Riento out of his daze, making him respond in a hurry. "Uh, Yeah!"

He cleared his throat, putting himself together. "Come in." At the same time, he straightened his clothes, wiped dust off it.

A man entered, over 6 feet tall.

"Saint, you have training down at the training hall. Your teacher even thought you overslept since you most of the times came early." He paused, admiring riento's face. The man's eyes shone with admiration. "Anyways, the point is. That your teacher is calling you sir."

"Marc right?" Riento asked the man.

"Yes?." Marc responded confused.

"Nothing, go first. I'll follow you down in a few moments." He waved marc off.

When marc left and closed the door behind him Riento groaned. Damn it! I completely forgot Riento is diligent!

I'm not!

"What should I do?..." He nibbled on his thimb's toenail.

He gathered his thoughts. "Detour... A detour there it is."

He sighed, opening the door. Walking out.

The gold accents of the wall glistened with light. Dang... This guy is rich. Even though I got his memories just earlier. I completely forgot about this part.

He touched the gold rimmed walls. "Real gold..." He muttered to himself. As a servant bowed.

"Good morning Saint!." The man smiled, before walking away.

Of course, Riento smiled. And waved at the servant.

In the process, Riento looked up at the pure gold chandeliers. Admiring them, counting how much they would have sold in the modern era. How much would those chandeliers sell? What? Like over 10,000 dollars?.

He sighed, Riento continued walking. Greeting the servants he walked past with a smile.

His hands were behind his back.

His eyes were on the pictures hanging on the wall.

Is these the previous saints and bishops? And the previous family members of riento?

Riento stared at one in particular.

Why are they all handsome and beautiful?! Riento stared in disbelief.

Each and every saint, bishop, and family members who made huge contributions that were hanging on the wall were all beautiful and handsome in their own way.

He furrowed his eyebrows in disbelief and annoyance at the fact that even one saint would overshadow k-pop idol's in looks.

"Is this the power of a god's blessing?." He spoke to himself.

Forcing his head to turn away, Riento continued walking. Until he reached the stares.

Long, ever so winding stairs.

Why does the stairs have to be this long? How many floors is this even?. Riento asked himself.

He groaned at the sight.

He forced himself to start walking down. Frowning at the thought of having to go up and down these stairs in the future.

How did Riento even do this everyday? I know he's a saint and all... But still!.

He stared at the sight of the windows inside the staircase.

It was lushuous, green, lively. This kingdom was large, Taking much space.

The sky was more blue than the one in the modern world, air more clean and pure.

Everything in this world was better. Just not the fact that safety is not guaranteed because of the monsters.

He thought to himself about how beautiful this world truly was compared to the crowded parts of the world he was used to.

This world is indeed better...

Not long after he reached the end of the stairs. "That was quite fast."

He greeted a few servants.

He turned and looked around. Where is that training hall now?.

He breathed in the clean and pure air.

Riento remembered something, and started walking towards the training hall in the original Riento's memories.
