Unleashing a beam of energy at the fully healed God of Lightning, Mjölnir blocked it as he flew straight at the destroyer knocking it back. The large Uru robot crashed into a few cars but managed to stop as its feet created large gashes into the concrete.
The Destroyer began unleashing a barrage of beams at thor, all of which was blocked by the God but the shockwave from the attacks sent debri flying everywhere!
Wanting to end this quickly to stop anymore damage and possible casualties, Thor grabbed Mjölnir by its strap and began swinging it in a circle! The speed from this motion was powerful enough to create a tornado that began lifting the destroyer up off the ground and into the air!
The destroyer was launched high up into the tornado, Loki was having a tough time controlling the thing when he spotted Thor coming straight at him from below!
Wanting to Kill his brother once and for all, Loki went all out with the destroyer. A dense beams of energy shot out of the Destroyer visor but was once again blocked by thors hammer.
Instead of stopping, Loki increase the output of the beam as Thor closed the distance within a fraction of a second by flying through the attack! Thor was right infront of the destroyer but it didnt stop!
Thors hammered slammed into its face it blocked the face portion, causing all of that destructive energy to build up inside if its own metalic body before it exploded! Loki's control over Automaton stopped as the magic holding its shifting piece stopped and became loose pieces if metal!
With the Destroyer defeat Thor stopped his tornado, all of the dust and debri that had been sucked up began falling to the ground, blocking sight of the Destroyer.
Onlookers were still in shock and wonder what the outcome was, but not Nick! Seeing the opportunity in front of him, he immediately struck!
Slamming open his car trunk, Nick telekinetically threw multple smoke grenades he prepared prior into dust cloud.
He threw atleast ten smoke grenades before he was confident to act, with the plumbs of smoke filled up the entire area he rushed in.
Thanks to a combination of his Antigravity Harness, AMS, and his superhuman speed from the creatures he absorbed, Nick appeared before the pieces of the destroyer in a flash! His Echolocation being the only reason he knew where to move inside of this thick cloud of smoke.
The Uru piece of the destroyer began levitating off of the ground and into his hand before he threw them at his trunk! With this many piece, he could possibly use hid telekinesis fast enough on all the pieces, so he had to also physically throw them.
The speed at which he moved was incredibly, his throw was equally incredibly accurate as it was being guided by his telekinesis into trunk.
By the time he noticed the cloud of Smoke began to thin, Nick had already stuffed one third of the destroyer into his trunk which he immediately slammed close with his telekinesis. The empty smoke grenades flew over and entered his back seat, making sure no evidence of his involvement remained.
'Shield will no doubt figure out some of the pieces are missing, i just need to not act suspicious!'
Before the smoke cleared completely, Nick dashed towards a half destroyed coffee shop and made it just in time before the smoke disappeared enough for visibility.
Popping out of the coffee shop like a helpess civilain, Thor gained a look of relief.
"Nicholas! I thought you died in all of this haha!" Hopping out if the broken window, Nick sized Thor up.
"So this is full strength of the God of Lightning?... I can still take you!" Nick joked with him about their drunken spar.
"Haha maybe some other time, I'll have to head back to asgard immediately to talk with my brother! I will be back as promised to pay you back for all of your hospitality Nicholas, but for now i must leave!" Just as Thor was about to spin his hammer to fly away, an all black car stopped infront of them.
"It appeared you've been lying about your friend Dayton here Nicholas." Nick began to worry about the reprocussion about lying to shield, thankfully Thor stepped in.
"I am sorry but Nicholas lied for my sake, I am not Dayton but instead the God of Lightning, Thor odinson! We're allies on the same side Phil, son of Coul, I hope you treat my new friend with kindness." Phil gave Nick a glance before returning his gaze to Thor.
The idea of punishing Nick immediately left his mind, getting on the wrong side of a god would be a terrible mistake. While Nick no longer worked for the NIA and what he did wasnt illegal, that still wouldn't have stopped shield from screwing Nick over.
"Of course we will, you have my word that he'll face no reprocussions of this Thor Odinson." Phil immediately radioed in replace Nicks name on the report with John Doe.
Nick was a former agent, he of all people should know better to report an anomaly to the authorities, especially if that anomaly is a God!
Thankfully, Phil realized Nick catered to the god and befriended him making it possible to call upon his strength if needed, the last thing Phil needed was to anger Thor because some idiot higher up wanted to punish Nick.
Watching Thors leaving back to asgard to defeat his brother and destroy the bifrost, Nick knew hed atleast have to wait two years to visit asgard and its many opportunities. In just one year New York will be attacked by aliens lead by Loki, Nick couldnt stop it but he could mitigate the damages.
"So you understood he was a god and kept it to yourself? You even hacked into the governments data base, which is highly illegal, to create a fake identity to fool us?" Phil didnt sound angry or annoyed, he sounded genuinely curious.
"I've worked in the government long enough to realize calling them in would only result in a negative experience for him, in order to foster positive emotions and hopefully turn him into earths protectors, i took it upon myself to look after and show him the wonders of earth."
Nick sounded cold and manipulative, thats because he had been with Thor. The two did bond and Nick genuinely did enjoy hanging out with the Norse God but he ultimately did it for a reason, to visit his planet and gleam all he could from them.
'Even if i did befriend him for a selfish reason, i don't plan on betraying him, If anything i plan on helping if i can.'
"I see... If you come across anymore gods make sure you call me first" Phil took out a business card and handed to Nick.
Giving a casual wave over his shoulder, Phil began walking away from the Nick and to his subordinates.
"Set up roadblocks and tents! I want this robot thing back to the labs for analysis by sundown! Call in reinforcments a.." listening to Phil take control of the situation Nick immediately slinked away back to his car.
'Eventually they're gonna realize pieces of it are missing and look for them, ill have to be gone by then!' As soon as Nick drove past past the town and got onto the desolate desert highway, he floored it away!
With a trunk full of Uru Nick couldnt take a flight back home, he can only drive the thirty hours back to New york. That being said he couldnt complain, the Uru in his trunk was probably worth more than all of his Stocks combined!
