Parking his car in the lot of the Valentine Industries building, Nick got out and stretched his sore legs. It was 10 PM and he just got back from New Mexico, he drove back with little sleep but his work had just started.
Opening his trunk, Nick began transporting the enchanted Uru into the building. Risking his life against the destroyer and possibly getting caught by shield was terrifying, but he hoped he was right about this metal.
Uru was a nearly unbreakable metal that required the concentrated force of a dying star to melt, what seperated it from other rare metals was its ability to be enchanted.
Uru held in enchantments, allowing objects made of the metal to be permanently enchanted, unlike other metals where the enchantment would dissappear eventually. The main idea that Nick had didnt involve the Uru itself, but the permanent enchantments on the Uru!
The destroyer was created by Odin, one of the strongest mages and definitely the strongest enchanter. With just a few words, he stripped Thor of his powers and embued his Hammer to give anyone Worthy the strength of thor.
The power needed to give a normal human the power of a god was astronomical, Nick planned on abusing that power!
Nick's idea was to use these permanent enchantments that seem to suck in energy from either the atmosphere or some other unseen dimensions to create infinitely energy.
'The Shield scientists found a way to trigger the Enchanted Uru metal to fire an energy blast similar to the destroyer, instead of firing that blast i just need the energy for my contraptions' Nick couldnt just ask Tony stark for an Arc Reactor or fly off into outer space to buy an energy cell from an alien, he had to work with what he got.
Nick finished putting the final piece of Uru into his safe before he sitting down and let out a sigh, he took out the new list he made before hand and added to it.

Nick had alread created an Exosuit for battle, its what he'd been using when sneaking into Micros base and assasinating Rowlins and Russo.
Unlike the AMS that merelt allowed the disabled to get by, the Exosuit would allow the user to punch through walls, run as fast as a car and jump 15ft into the air!
Nick could already achieve similar feats without the Exosuit, but the Exosuit didnt use his actual stamina meaning that he was fully rested should an emergency occure. Also if he was to ever get caught, the exosuit would be the perfect excuse for his superhuman strength.
He just needed to wait for Hydra to be eliminated before he starts selling to the government to eliminate the advantages aliens and monsters have over humans.
As for the drones, be had already finished their final model and he planned on selling them for individual use but now that he had Micro, Nick realized he could use his Drones differently!
Instead of selling these drones to consumers, he could use the drones as transports! It would require a lot of Micro's help but Nick realized his company could be the face of transportation!
'If i were to run a Drone transportation business my main expenses would be creating them, charging their batteries, and maintenance on them. If what i believe about Uru is correct, then I would completely remove the cost of electricity to power them!'
Nick looked at the safe containing all of his Uru, it was probably the most priceless material on the planet. If he were trying to sell all of it, he'd no doubt make billions, but he wasnt in it for the money.
'If i expand my drone transportation business world wide, i'd have cameras everywhere and could monitor the world for monsters to hunt! Not to mention if the Uru works like i think, it would lower my companies costs so it'd be cheaper than any competitors, my only problem is maintenance.'
The more Nick thought about it the more alluring the drone business idea became. He knew that while unpopular now, online ordering would take over the world as most people bought things from online and got them shipped to their house. He could become the face of the future!
Thinking hard on it, Nick decided to go for it! Even if everything goes wrong, he could just start again with another company. Instead of selling the drones he'll create his own shipping services with them.
Nick realized that he's gonna have to buy more buildings and hire loads of workers, he couldnt just run his business with himself, Micro and Peter. The work load pushed down on him would be massive but he didn't trust anyone else to build his company, after it grows large enough he'll have someone else run it, but until them it was all on him.
Besides his drone operation Nick still had his other projects, it'll take some time for his Drone transport to take off so he needed to sell other inventions to keep his company's name into the mind of the masses.
He figured creating a voice controlled virtual assistant similar to Alexa would mostlt fall under Micro's jurisdiction. The same went for computers, creating a decent and mass produceable computer for a decent price shouldnt be too hard for the genius.
This left only Nick with creating bluetooth items, upgrading the Antigravity Harness, and Uru exploration. Peter was an all around genius, he'd no doubt be helping both Nick and occasional Micro with things.
Of the three things Nick had to build, the Uru exploration was at the top of his list!
'From what i remember about the gun created from the Destroyer, it instantaneously shot the moment the trigger was pulled. It didnt charge up or have a delay, that means it has to be electrical based for the speed at which it's activated!'
This made some sense to Nick, Electricity was energy and so was the orange magical beam that the Destroyer shot. He didnt know magics relationship with electricity, but Thors magic was lightning so it couldnt be too far off.
So for his first test Nick hooked up a car battering to a section of the Uru, he connected the negative terminal to the magical metal and suddenly saw it radiating orange energy. His face smile with glee at how easy this was but that was quickly turned to shock as the pieces of Uru had melted straight through the table and was melting the floor!
Nick quickly unclip the car battery and all heat originating from the metal stopped, it now laid there half melted into the floor.
"The output of a car battery is just 12volts, thats not hot enough to melt through a granite countertops and concrete flooring and had to be the worl of the magic! Is It really this easy for once, i dont need hours of pointless trials?" After testing more, Nicks first hypothesis about electricity was actually right.
All a piece of enchanted Uru needs is a weak electrical current to active the enchantment and produce the red energy that let out heat. Sadly Nick couldnt directly convert this orange energy into electricity but he had a plan for that.
'If i place the Uru in water and activate it I can generate steam that can turn a turbine, this turbine will spin a generator to produce the electricity. Ill need a cooling system and....' What Nick was describing was just the process of a Thermo nuclear power plant!
Of course instead of using radioactive materials to generate the heat needed to create steam, Nick was planning on using Uru!
"An Uru powerplant, this'll be a bit tricky but it should be possible!" Unlike a nuclear power plant that was giant in order to produce enough electricity for entire cities, Nick only needed electricity for his drones and his business.
Drawing up a schematic of the Uru powerplant, Nick ordered the parts before he got to work on a Bluetooth earbuds.
He'll have to make them quickly since he originally planned on selling his drones once his Doorbell camera's began to dip in sales, while they hadn't dipped yet they have certainly platued!
'All Phones have embedded Bluetooth by now, theres already low quality and basically prototype bluetooth headsets on the market. My wireless earbuds will revolutionize Bluetooth technology!'
Opening up a drawer Nick pulled out a box of watch batteries, a couple packs of wired earbuds, multiple bluetooth Chips and a bunch of delicate tools that he'd already prepared for building the earbuds.
He immediately got to work cutting the earbuds up and taking it apart, thankfully he remembered some bits on how they worked from his past world and put that knowledge to use.
'The bluetooth chip creates a radio frequency to transmit data between device, since it'll be wireless, ill need to hook up a small battery to the chip and connect the chip to the driver. Ill als..' Nick got to work on his Bluetooth earbuds as the parts for his Generator were being shipped to his building.
As Nick was locked into buildings this worlds firsy version of Bluetooth Earbuds, he didnt realize that his building was once again being watched by half a dozen figures standing on a nearby buildings. These weren't Shield agents or Hand Ninja, they werent even human!
Their pale lifeless skin reflected the moonlight off of them, seeing Nick casually walking out and picking up a pizza from a delivery man, the group let out a bloodthirsty smile. There mouths all had a pair of fangs!
