The original plan had always only required one thing: something that could allow the country now under Arden's control to slowly expand, spreading its influence further and further, all for the sake of higher profit. Hendrick, the current head of the Arden family, was now working together with the Rosewell family— for the first time in their history.
"The region in sector X is already being used for Rosewell's mining company. If you're asking for more, wouldn't that be a bit greedy?"
Hendrick chuckled lightly. It wasn't really a laugh of ridicule, but more the kind of laugh you give while complimenting someone. The head of the Rosewell family, who sat across from him, laughed as well.
"Hearing that from the head of the Arden family, it really does make me sound greedy. And honestly, it just makes me more excited."
Hendrick lightly nodded. He took a small sip from his wine glass before setting it down again.
