The silence, broken only by the sound of dripping water as Suga stared at his reflection in the mirror, pulled him back into thoughts about his current condition.
Suga had always been the type to ignore pain. Ever since he was young, if he fell and bled, he never ran to his mother. And when she eventually found out, she'd scold him— saying untreated wounds could lead to infection. When his head throbbed with pain, he'd simply take ibuprofen, rarely ever going to the doctor. If his stomach hurt from acid reflux, he'd sleep it off, letting the discomfort pass with rest, then waking to find the pain miraculously gone.
But maybe, just maybe… while staying on this island, he'd eaten something he shouldn't have. Or perhaps he had a food allergy he'd never known about.
