A few minutes later, the barren Gobi Beach reappeared in front of Charles.
The Gobi Beach that he had grown completely tired of had now become a synonym for safety; seeing it meant that he was out of danger.
"Screech~" As the sound of tires grinding against the ground rose, Charles parked the car at the edge of the Gobi Beach, waiting for the others to arrive.
It wasn't long before he saw the other two cars arrive, but the one with bandages did not show up.
Thinking of the unusual situation from before, Charles wasn't too nervous. Their exit might take a little longer; as long as the direction was correct, they should be able to spot them soon.
But even as he waited, there was no vehicle emerging from the expanse of yellow sand.
"Bandage! Please respond if you hear me!"
"Bandage received... Just wait... Almost... there..."
Bandage's signal seemed poor, filled with noisy interference; he sounded very far away from Charles.
