"Zzzzz~" With Charles fiercely turning the steering wheel, the car came to an emergency stop.
But the sand creature did not shrink because it was always moving away from Charles, its size still growing slowly.
"Thud~! Thud~! Thud~!" As the trembling sounds continued to come, the sands of the entire desert along with the car began to shake.
That was the sound of the gigantic sand creature slamming its column-like huge hands down onto the sandy ground; that thing was not an illusion nor a mirage—it was real!
Now Charles no longer harbored any illusion that this place was Earth; Earth absolutely could not have such a thing.
What to do? This was the urgent question that Charles needed an answer to. With the sand creature growing larger, all previous methods of response were ineffective.
