The fine yellow sand flew in all directions with the breeze. Though the temperature of the desert was not high, the air was extremely dry.
Lily was still a bit thirsty. She licked the corners of her mouth with her tongue but did not ask Mr. Charles for fresh water.
There were no supply points here, and they needed to conserve the fresh water for the return trip.
Suddenly, a small bottle cap filled with water was presented in front of Lily. "Drink up, we can still afford to quench the thirst of a mouse."
Lily held the bottle cap with both hands and said with a smile, "Mr. Charles, thank you."
After speaking, she brought the bottle cap to her lips and took big and small sips.
In a short while, the bottle cap was emptied, and Lily took a deep breath, her drooping ears perked up again. "Ah, that's so refreshing!"
Charles patted her on the head with his hand. "Once the Unicorne is fully transformed, we won't have to be so frugal."
