After finishing his lessons, Erik caught up with the group at the cafeteria. Aaron still seemed down, but he was slowly coming around—what else could he do after losing his dad? The others started brainstorming weekend plans, hoping a fun outing might lift Aaron's spirits and give him a break from all the things weighing on him.
"Hey Aaron, want to check out some new games at my place?" Anderson said. "I've got a couple you haven't tried yet..."
It was weird for Erik to even think about Anderson playing video games, given how focused he usually was, but everyone must have been a kid once. Not that they still weren't. Though Anderson didn't look like a guy who would spend time playing.
"Yeah," said Aaron, looking up from his coffee. Maybe playing some video games could really help him think about something else.
