The sun rose, having a warmingly, bright orange hue that contrasted its dull, yellow tone. Normally, Central Desper's thick layers of fog-filled skies gave the sun its dull tone, dampening the already gloomy, desaturated, polluted dystopian metropolis.
Today, however, was different. For once–in a really long time–Desper's sun illuminated brightly and beautifully. Its rays touched the darkest shadows, bringing to light everything that was deprived of its presence. Its warmth brought about a new expression throughout the city, one that was rarely shared by everyone.
"Joy"
As everyone within and around the city flocked to the streets and headed to the arena, they all smiled and cheered with excitement, exhilaration, and anticipation; all aimed at the fight that was officially starting that very morning.
