"These belonged to your husband," Aizen, to the surprise of everyone at Edison's Lab, handed Lily three Pokéballs.
The woman immediately teared up when she saw Reuniclus, Hisuian Typhlosion, and an Annihilape come out.
All three Pokémon were immensely sad when they saw Lily, and the Typhlosion and Annihilape lowered their heads as if to apologise to her.
They had failed to save their Master, and their pain was suffocating.
"The rest of them did not survive," Aizen informed them, letting her know the truth, and then took a deep breath. "Edison had sneaked inside Ein's old Laboratory, and it was Ein and his Mega Houndoom and Mega Gengar who killed him."
Krane stared at the Orayen Prince in disbelief, and was, at first, upset that he had not told this back when that scum was alive. But then he lowered his head and felt better in his heart as he recalled the method Aizen had used to kill the mad scientist.
He had woken up Ein and then fried his brains with his Psychic Powers. It was just as painful as being burned alive, and the man's cries now resonated in his mind, comforting his heart.
"Thank you," he whispered, and the Orayen Prince patted his shoulder.
"Get to work, mate. You have to finish your brother's Purify Chamber."
Krane nodded his head in a promise and then silently left for the Engineer Unit.
Riley and Phoebe asked their Mega Lucario and Mega Gengar about all that had happened tonight, and Aizen, who was tired, retired to his room with Sabrina.
Even though there was a raging fire in his loins, he kept himself in control, and after the two freshened up, they climbed into the bed and snuggled with each other, watching Rinko, Lux, and Riolu, who were peacefully asleep on the couch in front of them.
"You are growing colder with every mind you read, Aizen."
The sudden words from his Moon froze him, and he furrowed his brows.
"It is not safe to read the memories of so many corrupted people," she reminded him. "They leave an impression on your mind."
"I am aware." He sighed.
"Then why do you still do it?" She asked, and he turned silent.
Sabrina too did not speak for a while, but then she heard him sigh and felt him plant a kiss on her forehead.
"Her shields still protect me, Rina. My mind is not in any danger."
"I am aware." She said. "And I remember you warning me why we should not be using our powers excessively to read the minds of people. You told me that even you were not immune to the darkness in the hearts of people. You are resistant to them, but ideas are cruel. Remember? How long before something bad slips past your resistance, takes root in your mind, and gets triggered when you find yourself pressed in a situation where it whispers to you?"
Her words made him feel uncomfortable and warm at the same time.
"What would you have me do then?" He sighed and gently asked.
"Just kill them if that is what you want to do. Do not try to justify your Judgement by looking into their minds and crimes. It's the choice they made, and the consequences are theirs to own. Even death." She said and sat up, straddling his waist and looking into his eyes. "None of them are innocent. They are criminals."
"Is my Rina worried for me?" He smiled at her and stroked her cheek with the back of his finger.
"You are important to me," she cutely nodded her head.
He pulled her to him, capturing her lips in a deep kiss, and did not restrain his hands as they sneaked inside her pyjamas and stroked her sides and her back.
His Moon too lost herself in his taste, and and there was a sense of urgency developing in both their movements.
Suddenly, the Orayen Prince stopped and chuckled against her lips, which made Sabrina open her eyes and cutely raise her brow at him.
"There's a pair of impatient little siblings who want to come out of the Promise Ball," he informed her before he allowed the two Pokémon to come out.
The Moonheart smiled when the two little Zorua curiously looked around the room before they changed their appearances and transformed into Rinko and Lux.
The Orayen Prince laughed as watched the two start running around, and their actions woke up his Riolu, who was stunned when he stared at Rinko and Lux and then at Rinko and Lux.
His head cutely darted from his friends to his friends, and even when it used its Aura Sight, it could not immediately tell them apart.
"Rio..."
Aizen laughed at their antics, and Riolu jumped off the couch as it tried to catch the new Rinko and Lux, and soon figured out that they were not the same friends he knew.
It took him some time, but the Aura Pokémon soon picked up on their Dark Energies, and the two Zorua too realised it, so they then shocked him again by transforming into him.
"Rio..."
"Rio..."
"Rio..."
"Rio!"
"Rio!"
"Rio!!!"
Even Sabrina could not help her smile as she watched the three fall into an argument but then stared at Aizen, who was heartily laughing at their conversation.
The Prince curiously looked at her when she planted a kiss on his forehead, and then grabbed her and pinned her under him as he planted kisses all over her face, and then on her neck, making her smile some more.
"Behave." He narrowed his eyes at the two Zorua, who had used their illusion to transform into him and Sabrina, and were trying to imitate their intimacy.
The two Pokémon sensed that he did not approve of it, and as mischievous as they were, they did not want to see him get angry at them. Both tranformed back to their true selves.
"Sorry..." The two telepathically apologised to him and Sabrina, and when they saw Aizen smile, they grinned and jumped at him and his Moon, rubbing their faces against them.
Riolu, seeing how the two were showering their love on the two Zorua, jumped up on the bed and came to sit in his Trainer's lap, seeking attention, and the Orayen Prince gave him some love as well.
A while later, the two Zorua fell asleep on the bed, snuggling with Riolu, and Aizen and Sabrina shared a glance, deciding to keep them.
And the Prince did not forget to take a picture of them, which he would later share with his sister and the ladies in his life.
"Gengar..."
Suddenly, his Ghost Pokémon emerged from the bed, and Aizen smiled at him when he saw that it was wearing the Mega Stone, Gengarite, which he had taken after killing that Mega Gengar.
"Can't feel the connection?" The Prince smiled and then drew his hand forward.
Gengar quickly handed him the stone and intently looked at it, curious about what Aizen wanted to do.
"There are two types of Mega Evolutions, my dear Shadow," He informed the Pokémon as he used his Aura Powers to remove the trace of Ein and the previous Gengar it belonged it. "Any Pokémon can pick their Evolutionary Line's Mega Stone, and if their Trainer has a Key Stone on them, they can enter the Mega Evolution, temporarily. But not permanently."
"Gen...gar?"
"Yes. Phoebe's Gengar has permanently achieved his True Form. And have you noticed that Psychic-Type Attacks and Ghost-Type attacks are not Super-Effective against him? Not to the degree as they should be?"
"Gengar..."
"Yes," he smiled. "Psychic-Type moves, instead of being twice as effective, become 1.5x as effective. Same for Ghost-Type moves. And both your Psychic-Type and Dark-Type moves see a small boon in power as well. Around 25%."
"Gen..garr...?"
"It's because the Progenitor Gengar is of Four Types. Poison, Psychic, Ghost, and Dark."
His Pokémon's eyes widened in shock.
"Yes," He smiled. "Even though you can never be like your Father, you do gain some of his traits upon achieving your True Form. A Permanent True Form makes you stronger than your Temporary True Form, and Temporary True Form is also of two types. One can be achieved with this Mega Stone and my Key Stone, and the other can be achieved when our minds become one during battle. It's called the Battle Bond."
His Pokémon attentively listened to him.
"Both the Temporary Mega Evolution are very painful, and in the case of the Battle Bond, which gives slightly more power to the Pokémon, it is painful for the Trainer too."
"Gengar..."
Aizen smiled when his Pokémon asked how he would be able to achieve his True Form permanently.
He gently patted his Pokémon's head, and smiled some more when his Pokémon did not instinctively make his body intangible.
"Patience, my dear Shadow. We will achieve your Permanent True Form. I promise."
"Gengaar?"
"Oh, I don't have a Key Stone. I am the Key Stone." He laughed. "Just like how Mega Stone is consumed when a Pokémon achieves his True Form, the Key Stone is consumed by the Trainer as well if they are Aura Master or a Psychic. It's forever linked with me. I don't need to wear another one."
Aizen then planted his own mark on the Gengarite, and Gengar's eyes widened when he saw the Mega Stone blink in his hand.
"You can wear it now." He said to his Shadow, who quickly wore the Mega Stone on his left arm.
His sinister smile widened when he finally felt the connection with the Gengarite.
"Want to try entering your True Form? It will be quite painful though."
"Gengar."
"Fine." Aizen smiled as he raised his left arm, and then clenched his left fist, which started to shine a little.
Instantly, colourful lights surrounded Gengar, and then formed a line of light which connected the Pokémon to the Prince's left hand.
Gengar's entire body was soon surrounded in a beautiful purple, crystalline Aura, which formed a cocoon around him. When it started to crack and disintegrated into specks of light, Gengar, in his True Form appeared before them.
And both Aizen and Sabrina's eyes went wide in shock.
The Mega Stone had been consumed... Which meant that it was not a temporary evolution...
"Gengar..." the Pokémon stared at its hand as he created them with his Ghostly Energies, also created legs for himself, and had some fun with his newfound speed.
Aizen was still in shock when Gengar suddenly hugged him, but then the Prince heartily laughed and hugged back his Pokémon.
"You are the best."
"Gengar." His Shadow agreed with him and thought about teaisng the sleeping Pokémon, but then decided to go and see Phoebe's Gengar and show him that he too had achieved his True Form now.
Once Gengar left, Aizen and Sabrina shared a glance, and his Moon brightly smiled at him, stunning him with her beauty.
"Congratulations."
He smiled back at her and then leaned in to capture her lips, and when their lips finally separated, he held her in his arms as he drifted off to a deep sleep.
In his dreams, he met Lyla again and told her all about Gengar...
