Chapter 172 - Chapter 172

Aizen and Sabrina woke up very late the next day.

It was almost noon, and the Prince was glad that he had not been disturbed.

His Moon had chosen to get some sleep too, and seeing her beautiful face on the pillow next to him, he could not help but stare at her profile.

Her sixth sense soon kicked in, and she opened her beautiful pink eyes, and then, unbeknownst to her, a slight smile appeared on her face.

"Good morning." He greeted her, and then climbed over her to capture her lips, but quickly pulled away when he felt the fire in his loins rage.

Aizen took a cold shower, whilst Sabrina, at the same time, not minding her nakedness in front of him, opted for a bath and meditated as she laid back in the tub.

It took great effort for him to mind his eyes, and coming out of the bathroom, he quickly changed into a new set of clothes and went out to check up on everyone.

Even his Pokémon were not in the room, but he was not surprised that they had unlocked the door and gone out.

A bright smile bloomed on his face when he saw three little girls dancing together in the lounge, having fun, and the two Zorua, when they looked at him, immediately rushed over and jumped.

He caught the two girls in his arms and laughed when they started kicking his face.

Eventually, the two Pokémon dropped the illusion and rushed to greet Sabrina, who had come out of the bath and was now in the room, drying her hair.

"Where's Michael?"

"He went out with Riley and Phoebe to collect some fruits and berries. They did not take me with them." Jovi pouted and then opened her arms to him. "Up."

He smiled as he picked up the little girl and went to check up on Krane and Lily, who were running a test on a Pokéball of a Cursed Pokémon.

"How's the progress?"

"We are running trials to calibrate the Chamber, and so far so good. It isn't working as well as I expected, but I think we have figured out which direction we need to move from here onwards," Krane briefed him on the progress, and he was confident that he would be able to perfect the Chamber within three weeks.

"That's fine. Take your time. We will be lying low for the coming few weeks."

The two scientists nodded their heads to him, and Aizen did not stay long with them.

He returned to the lounge, where Sabrina was checking up on all the news from the Arcane Creed.

A smile crossed his face when he watched her make a list of Pokémon whom she wanted to use in the Indigo Conference at the end of the year. And she had already caught the female Zorua.

He was quite impressed by her team, but Sabrina was still thinking about getting a few more Pokémon.

She only had two Fairy Pokémon. Her Mega Gardevoir and her Diancie. She could not use the former in the Conference, and the latter was a Pokémon she did not want to reveal unless she had no other choice. She wanted another Fairy Pokémon.

"You know you can win the Conference with the Team you already have. Right?"

"I don't just want to win." She shook her head.

"Oh?"

"I want to win without losing a single round." She turned to meet his eyes.

"Maybe I just got lucky?" He grinned at her, but she shook her head.

"It was not just luck. You played games with your opponents, and it paid all. When it did not, your Pokémon were strong enough to win against the odds."

Aizen kept looking at her and felt warm in his heart when he saw her frown.

"So, you need a second Grass-Type Pokémon and a Fairy, right?"

"And an Electric Pokémon. My Ampharos is strong, but they are not fast Pokémon."

He nodded his head in understanding.

"What do you have in mind?"

"Florges would cover both Grass and Fairy spots on the Team, and as for the Electric Pokémon, Jolteon or Electivire will be perfect. Luxray, though not as fast, would be fine too. They have a versatile moveset."

"Yes," he nodded his head and closed his eyes, finding a Pokémon inside the Promise Ball.

He had rescued it from S.S. Agatha, and it was one with a lot of potential.

Sabrina curiously looked at the cute little Pokémon who appeared in Aizen's lap, and understanding his intentions, she picked it up and curiously looked into its eyes.

"She has the potential to learn Fairy Type moves as well," the Prince informed her, and Sabrina took out her Pokéball and showed it to the little Pokémon.

"I want you on my Team." She gently said and received a cute reply in return.

"Bounsweet!" It jumped up and tackled the Pokéball in her hand, initiating the catching mechanism.

And Sabrina took a deep breath of the sweet aroma her new Pokémon left behind.

She immediately called out the Pokémon and then scanned the Pokéball.

Once she was done looking at the Moveset and the Ability, she smiled at her Fiancé for the gift.

"Thank you."

"Reena for my Rina." He playfully said, and her smile brightened. "She already knows Play Rough, so, when she evolves into a Steene and learns High Jump Kick, focus on helping her learn a new move, using both Play Rough and High Jump Kick at the same time. She will need to generate both power and Fairy Energy from her legs. And with enough practice, she will develop a Fairy move unique to her."

"Spirit Break?"

"Not exactly. This will be more powerful."

Sabrina curiously looked at him, visualising what he had said, and even though she could not see how it would work, she did not doubt his words.

He was a Professor, after all, and his knowledge and understanding of Pokémon was a unique gift.

"Can I have a Pokémon too?"

Jovi, who had watched their exchange and him giving Bounsweet to Sabrina, hopefully looked at him.

She loved all his cute Pokémon, and she really wanted a new friend now, even though she already had Plusle and Minun.

Even the two Electric Pokémon looked at him in the hope of getting a new friend.

"Oh? Do you want something cute or powerful?"

"Cute!" She innocently said, and her smile brightened.

"I will give you two, but only if you promise to take care of them."

"I promise!!" She cutely nodded her head, now beyond happy and bouncing on her feet.

Aizen then communicated with a sad little Teddiursa inside the Promise Ball, and after a conversation, the little Pokémon decided to come out.

Jovi's eyes shined brightly at the sight of it, and Teddiursa cutely looked at her.

"She has recently lost her parent too," Aizen telepathically informed the Pokémon, who now felt a connection with Jovi.

A minute later, the little girl was introducing herself and her Plusle and Minun to Teddiursa, and then she hopefully asked him if he would like to become their friend.

"Teddiursa..."

Even though she could not understand the language of the Pokémon, she could feel that he had said yes, and she happily stepped forward and hugged the Pokémon.

Aizen watched the girl start playing around with Teddiursa, forgetting that he had promised her two Pokémon and laughed when she cutely ran back to him with her companions an hour later when her mind finally clicked.

"Aizen!" She jumped into his arms and sat in his lap. "Where's my second Pokémon?" She shyly asked, and he planted a kiss on her head before he put her down on her feet.

Her mouth cutely dropped open when he called out two cute little Lillipup, who immediately started circling her.

"One's for you, and the other is for Michael."

"Thank you!" She tiptoed, and when he leaned in, she planted a kiss on his cheek before running away.

A while later, when Riley, Phoebe, and Michael returned with fruits and berries, the little girl happily introduced her brother to the Pokémon Aizen had gifted them.

Michael was just as excited as his sister and quickly picked up the Lillipup that Jovi gave him. He then approached the Orayen Prince and repeatedly thanked him.

After everyone washed their hands, and Aizen helped Mr. Mime prepare food for the Pokémon, he sat down at the table with his friends and had a peaceful meal.

"Lily."

Towards the end of the meal, he called out to the young widow, who curiously looked at him.

"I think you and the kids should move out of Orre as soon as the Purify Chamber is completed."

The woman frowned at his words, feeling restless in her heart.

"Where..."

"Not too far from your home." He smiled when he sensed her concede to his suggestion. "Unova. Nuvema Town. I have talked with Professor Aurea Juniper, and you can work with her at her lab and live there. Michael and Jovi will be able to attend the Juniper School of Pokémon, and you don't have to worry about the identification. We will deal with them. You will have no issues at all."

"What will I be working as?" She frowned.

Lily knew that the Juniper Family was a Family of Pokémon Researchers, and their fields were different. She was a Scientist and an Engineer, not a Pokémon Researcher...

"You will work as the Chief Technician at the Laboratory and will get your separate working space there. Krane will be your colleague there for the next few years."

"Aizen..." The man looked at him in surprise.

"I talked to the Order, and you are on Official Leave from all your duties once this mission finishes. You will be free until Jovi graduates from the School and passes her Trainer's Licence Exam."

The Scientist held back his tears and gratefully nodded to him.

He had already been thinking about applying for an Official leave to take care of his nephew and niece, and be the father-figure in their life, as his brother wanted him to be.

However, he did not have much hope. He was too precious to the Arcane Creed and was the Core Member of Joseph Stone's Unit.

Krane did not know how Aizen managed to get him this break, but he promised himself that he would one day repay this debt to the Orayen Prince.

"I need to leave for a day. You should stay put and not go out again." Aizen told Riley and Phoebe, and Sabrina seemed to know where he was going, and she did not follow him.

The Prince needed to go to the Tree of Beginning and let out all the Pokémon inside the Promise Ball.
