Hey everyone, Novaflame6_Badal here again. it's been.. a long, long time since I updated this story so I'm just getting back to it. Just read up on the previous 2 chapters I had published and so I am continuing this story. Don't know how long it'll go but we'll see. If you're wondering about pairings here's the ones I'm more hinting at: Koga x Wendy, Kazuma x Chelia, Mist x Sting/Rogue? That's what I have for now. For story reasons, Max and Skyye are already together, and I'm not breaking up some of the obvious FT pairings like Natsu x Lucy, Gray x Juvia, and Gajeel x Levy. Not sure what to do with Mira though... should I have her with one of the oc's or keep her with Laxus? Anywho, enough of that. Onto the 3rd installment of this fanfic.
Ps.- I don't own Fairy tail, or Saint Seiya and their characters. This belong to their creators and respective stories. I only own the oc's in this story. And like I said there are only elements of saint seiya in this story, no saint seiya characters themselves appear in the story as it takes place in the fairy tail universe.
Chapter 3- Fairies, Tigers, and.. Dragons?
Fairies, Tigers, and Dragons
The Grand Magic Games continued into its third day, with the massive Domus Flau arena filled to capacity. Fans waved guild flags and shouted support for their favorites as the competition heated up. The day's featured event was Pandemonium, where competitors would face magical monsters inside a towering structure that had materialized in the center of the arena.
Each guild selected their representative. Mermaid Heel chose Milianna, Sabertooth picked Orga Nanagear, and other guilds made their selections including Erza Scarlet for Fairy Tail A and Cana Alberona for Fairy Tail B. Dragon's Dawn—the mysterious new guild dominating the competition—selected Mist Dragonblade, younger sister of their team leader.
Before the competition began, Mist approached Erza with unexpected words: "Erza Scarlet, I may not look it, but you and I are relatively the same age. Feel free to give it your all. Fairy Tail is the only guild Dragon's Dawn sees as a challenge to us right now."
She then turned to the Sabertooth and Raven Tail representatives with venomous contempt, shocking everyone with her boldness: "Sabertooth... you're nothing but a fake. A glass cannon. We don't like how you do things. Until you treat your members like their lives matter, you'll never be a real guild." To Raven Tail, she warned, "Don't think we've forgotten what kind of guild you really are. The Dragon will crush both the Tiger and the Raven!"
When the competition began, Erza made a stunning declaration—she would challenge all 100 monsters by herself. Despite attempts to dissuade her, she insisted, then proceeded to cleave through monster after monster, amazing the entire stadium. As she battled the final S-class monster, her guild's cheers gave her strength for one final surge, allowing her to complete the seemingly impossible task and clear the entire challenge alone.
The crowd erupted, chanting "Fairy Tail! Fairy Tail!" as the guild received 10 points for their extraordinary victory.
For the remaining participants, a magical device was set up to measure magical power. Different mages scored varying levels: Milianna at 339, Orga at over 30,000, and Jura impressively reaching over 500,000. When Mist's turn came, a crimson dragon-shaped aura formed behind her as she cast "Crimson Fang... Revenge Riot!" Her power registered at 840,000, shocking everyone outside her guild. Only Cana—using the legendary Fairy Glitter spell—scored higher, actually breaking the measuring device.
The current standings placed Dragon's Dawn in a commanding lead with 33 points, followed by Raven Tail with 22, and Sabertooth and Lamia Scale tied at 18 points.
The battle portion brought unexpected drama when Laxus faced "Alexei" from Raven Tail. While the audience saw what appeared to be Laxus getting beaten, the truth was revealed when Laxus dispelled an illusion—Alexei was actually Ivan Dreyar, Laxus's father and Raven Tail's guildmaster. This illegal participation resulted in Raven Tail's immediate disqualification from the games.
After this victory, members of Dragon's Dawn approached Laxus and his team. Two introduced themselves as Honoo Tokyoheim and Shoryuu Izanagi. "We would've taken out Raven Tail ourselves, but looks like you took care of that for us," Honoo said. "We'll be rooting for you Fairy Tail... until our guild has to face you, that is."
When Natsu asked what kind of wizards they were, they revealed surprising information. Shoryuu explained he was a Demon Slayer, while Honoo identified herself as a Sea God Slayer with command of both water and fire elements. They mentioned their leader Max was a Nova God Slayer, trained by Baruk, a White Dragon they claimed was the true Dragon King—not Acnologia as many believed.
The next day brought the chariot race, a nightmare for Dragon Slayers due to their motion sickness. While Natsu and Gajeel struggled, Koga from Dragon's Dawn managed third place, further solidifying their lead in the standings.
The battle portion featured a water sphere match with Lucy, Juvia, Minerva, Mist, and others competing. The battle quickly narrowed to just Lucy, Minerva, and Mist. When Minerva stole Lucy's keys and began brutally attacking the defenseless wizard, Mist's fury ignited, her crimson aura flaring. Though she managed to land a powerful blow on Minerva, Mist chose to exit the sphere with the injured Lucy, allowing Sabertooth a hollow victory.
"We'll let you have this one, Sabertooth," Mist warned. "But you've just angered a guild you don't want to make an enemy of! The Dragon will crush the Tiger!"
Later, Dragon Dawn's leader Max confronted Minerva directly: "You attacked a defenseless girl. You and your guild disgust me. Try that again, and you'll end up with more than a few broken bones!"
As Lucy was taken for treatment, a Dragon's Dawn member named Skyye Blacksmith—who possessed healing magic similar to Wendy's—offered to help. This incident forged an alliance between Fairy Tail and Dragon's Dawn against their common enemy: Sabertooth.
With Fairy Tail now forced to combine their A and B teams, they formed a new lineup of five powerful wizards: Erza, Gray, Laxus, Gajeel, and Natsu. As day three concluded, both Fairy Tail and Dragon's Dawn shared a new goal—to defeat and utterly humiliate Sabertooth in the games to come.

Hi guys hope you enjoyed this chapter. Sorry I skipped the Wendy vs Chelia fight, I'll have a flashback planned next chapter to go over that fight which took place on Day 2 I believe. If I'm wrong plz pm me or say so in the reviews. Longer chapter for sure, but there was a lot to cover. Wendy will get her interactions with Koga don't worry. Mist I'm thinking will probably end up with Sting but we'll see. And as for Laxus think I'll go a different route with him so sorry those of you who wanted him to stay with Mira Jane, Laxus has another pairing. Mira's pairing I'll do my best to develop rather than rush it like the others in this story. I'll try and develop the pairings more so they make sense. anyways see you guys next chapter!
