The dear looks around seeming spooked before returning to it's bush banquet. I slip effortlessly through the brush with almost no noise. I ready myself and wait for the moment to strike. I remember what I was taught, you will know when to strike it will be a feeling you can almost hold in your hands. Just as I think I should attack anyway I feel it like a bird in my chest. I jump out of the bush so fast to find that the deer had turned it's head which put it's neck in the perfect place for biting. My jaws tear into the neck effortlessly and it has an amazing taste but before I can give into my glutenus impulses bolshoi steps out from behind a tree.
"good job, but next time make sure you get out of the spray zone" he said with a chuckle before bending down and picking up the deer.
I look down to see I am indeed soaked in blood. Good thing I'm not in my human form or my clothes would be ruined. As soon as we get back to the cabin we both change back. bolshoi puts the deer down on the table. "It"s time for you to go back to school" he said as he walked over to the sink to wash up.
"do I have to, and besides aren't I suppose to keep the fact that I'm a liken a secret" I whine.
"this isn't up for debate, you need to go back or people will come looking around here"he replied sternly. "pack your things I'll drop you off on the way to the shop". I went up to my room and packed the few things I'd need most of it clothes. Then I got in the shower because I'd be at school with pindos who know nothing about sent. finally I told mom and dad about everything and told them good bye. I was mostly talking to dad because I didn't know my mom much as she died years ago.
"okay I'm ready" I said as headed into the kitchen.
"No you got to brush your hair too" he said barely looking at me. "I know it's hard but most people don't have knots in their hair".
"can't I just ware a hat instead" I plead.
"no you'll have to take it off some time" he said picking up the dreaded comb. He drilled me on how to act like nothing happened to me, which was the complete opposite of normal. Finally we get in the car and set off for the city.
