In the morning, Hale and Dia was woken up by Diana. Diana urged them to come outside. She was planning a small event. She was going to make them compete with each other.
Diana placed different artefacts and special books, that have secret methods, around the valley.
"I hid some special treasures around the valley. There is 6 treasures all-together. The amount of treasures you find, is the amount you keep. If Dia finds them all, Hale you will get to choose two. Any questions?"
"Mother what type of treasures? And when did you have treasures? Wasn't the house empty as usual?" Hale was confused.
"Those treasures were found by me, in my early days of adventuring and gaining experience. All are differrent and you will find out about them when you find them. So it starts now so go ahead." Diana instructed to start the hunt.
Dia ran away first, she ran up, towards the peak of the mountain. She always wanted to search the rivers, and also remembered that there was a huge hole behind the waterfall.
Hale ran downwards. He didn't want to compete with Dia. He thought that his chance will increase if they searched different areas. Well he was right to some extent.
Diana's eyes glowed slightly, she could see everything happening in the valley. She saw Dia was on the right path. The treasures were hidden randomly but they were easy to find if you look at those hot spots. The hot spots are those places that are worthy for treasures to be hidden, such as the hole behind the waterfall.
Diana looked at Hale, and she shook her head in diassapointment. He was running down the valley in between the trees. Everytime he saw a particular tree, he would climb it and search in the leaves.
"This is complete useless. Mother obviously hid the treasures at six different positions. Those six positions must be different and unique. It must be a place that is worthy for a treasure to be hidden, which we may ignore, but it is definitely obvious as the place is somewhat special. "Hale was thinking really hard this time. He didn't want to lose to Dia.
Hale ran down towards the fields, he ran towards a mountain that was bordering the valley. The mountains looked like walls that surrounded the valley, definitely for protection purposes or to isolate the house.
The color of environment was filled with splendor. Different trees grew everywhere. Some trees were tall and some were short, others bloomed with flowers and some didn't. The bushes and small tree's grew in between the bigger trees.
The sky was bright. The sun shined its brightness in every direction. The wind howled and the temperature was neither cold or hot.
Hale ran towards a cave hidden within a cliff. The cave was huge and looked like someone who poked a hole in a wall.
Hale entered, it was dark inside. He couldn't see anything. He channeled the Qi in his blood, towards the eyes.
The cave was extraordinary. It was tall and different crystals emerged from the ceiling of the cave. They glowed slightly. They brought a mysterious feeling like they were channeling Mana. He touched one of those crystals. A Mana current flowed throughout his entire body. He felt a jolt of pain for an instant. Nothing happened other then that.
If Diana used her sight again, she would notice that Hale had dissappeared. Diana went to sleep again. She didn't worry as this was her territory. There was nothing here that could danger them.
Hale entered the cave and walked further inside. He was analyzing the many crystals. They were set in a different order. He walked further inside and what he saw was completely buffling.
In the cave was a Dragon. It was asleep. Hale backed away slowly. The dragon was golden-green in color. It was constantly making the energy and power within the cave and mountain to withdraw into it's huge body.
When Hale was backing away, the Dragon opened its eyes. It's eyes were magnificent, they glowed yellowish and golden. The eye pupil was sharp, which it used to stare at Hale. Hale was feeling pressure, and all his cells felt like they entered a stronger gravity-field.
