"Axel, are you seeing the news?"
"Yes, K, I am. Where are you, by the way?"
"I recently came home to rest and got the news that this 'Seven Deadly Sins' has taken over a region? A WHOLE REGION? Do you believe it?"
"Well, we are seeing it right now."
"Angela told me to call you. You are summoned for a high-level meeting at night. You better come fast."
"But why? Is there a problem with something?"
"No, but it is about the Paldea region and the 'Seven Deadly Sins'. You'd better come fast. The situation out here is not so good."

Axel looked towards Ashmita and said, "Call an emergency meeting within 20 minutes."
Many questions were forming in his head. First of all, how could the seven deadly sins be so powerful? The only thing that he knew was that they were a secretive organization, and they made sure not to mess with the league. But now, suddenly, they attacked the league and won, too?
Axel could assume that the forces of the league might not be so tight as they are here in the Kanto region since the region had yet to be accepted as the central region. But an unknown organization was taking over the whole area, that was never been heard of.
How powerful were the Seven Deadly Sins? Axel didn't know why Angela called him, but it must be important, and he wanted his team to be ready for anything.

"Sir, why have you called us?", asked Alon.
He had been enjoying his holiday after the tide battle. Every member of the team was given 2 weeks' holiday. They could go and meet with their families and enjoy it with their friends.
"All of you heard about the Paldea region, right?", asked Axel.
"Yes, we did."
"Yes."
"What happened?", asked Alon.
He was the only one who didn't know about it, since he had been sleeping until the afternoon.
"Well, the Paldea region was taken over by 'Seven Deadly Sins' and now they rule over it."
"Really?"
"I cannot believe that they won against the league. I mean, it is 'The League'."
"That is the thing that I want to talk about. With this drastic change, something is bound to happen. The league will try to take revenge on it, and I believe that if we play our cards right, we may have a chance to get a piece of that region."
Krishna's eyes gleamed with excitement.
"Sir, what do you think that we should do?", asked Krishna.
"I don't know, but I just got called for an emergency meeting by the Venu family. They may have some information. Now, if the time comes for us to attack and reclaim what the league has lost, I want a specialized team to handle it.
Remember, we have been training how to defend, not how to attack. We haven't had a good experience with it. That is why I am not planning to take the whole team into this upcoming war.
So, select a few members for the task, that is, if we get a chance for it."

The headquarters of the Venu family was located near Lavender Town, and since Alakazam had a marker there, it was easy for Axel to reach it in a few minutes.
As Axel approached the Venu family Headquarters, a slow, quiet warmth spread through his chest — a feeling both haunting and comforting. Familiar stone walls, weathered by time and seasons, stood like silent guardians of the past. Vines curled along the edges of the archways just as they had years ago.
Each step forward felt like walking through a living photograph. It had been a couple of years since Axel came to this place. He had been in constant contact with Angela and the trio, but he had never come here due to his heavy schedule. He was supposed to be the elder of training, finances, and management.
Axel felt a bit guilty about not fulfilling his responsibilities, but he had a lot on his plate. Since he was not present, a substitute elder had taken his place, and he had been doing a good job in it.
As Axel was reminiscing about the past while looking at the familiar training ground, he heard a voice from the back.
"So, you finally came, huh?"
Axel turned around and said with a smile, "K, it has been some time. How are you doing, my friend?"
Axel gave him a bear hug. It had been some time since he had seen K, A, and B. "Where are A and B?"
"Oh, they are busy with all the preparations. Come with me. I have something for you.", said K as he told Axel to follow him.
He was led to K's home. K's parents were delighted to meet him again. He gave them a short greeting, and K took him to his room. K went to search for his bag and after some time came up with something he had not expected.
It was a big bunch of cigarettes.
"This is different from what we normally take. It messes with your brain and might also cause hallucinations.", said K, proud of his innovation.
Axel could not believe that K had discovered weed. Axel took a sip of it. He was never good with weed. It always ended badly for him, so he only took a sip out of respect for K.
"So, what are you doing now? Still trying to become the Pokemon master after the league?"
Just like Axel, K had recently participated in the Kanto league battle and came out victorious. He had multiple king rank Pokemon now, and he had also registered himself in the Johto region.
"Yes, but now there is not much flare to it. Many people are discussing the tide of battles and what the future holds, and I believe that gym battles will not remain as popular in the future. I don't know what to do now."
"Why don't you join me in my mercenary team. You can clear your mind while working there."
"It is not a bad idea. Give me some time to think about."

As he entered the meeting room, it looked quite lively. There were multiple windows and sofas. The fresh smell of flowers assaulted his nose as he entered the room. There were seven people in the meeting room beside him, and also among them were seated on chairs with a big rectangular table in between.
The people in this meeting were:
1. Aron- Elder, dealing with healing and medicine.
2. Rox: Elder dealing with the rules and laws of the family.
3. Trishna: Elder dealing with communication and Trading.
4. Mark: Elder dealing with science experiments.
5. Nisha: Substitute for Axel.
6. Adam: Grand Elder.
7. Angela: Leader of the Venu family.
"Why are you always late for the meeting?", asked Angela.
"Haha. Sorry, I had to come from a different town to attend the meeting."
Adam stood up, hugged him, and said, "Welcome back, Axel."
"Thanks."
Mark also shook his hand, and others also greeted him. Axel was close to Mark and Adam. It was lively to see both of them again.
Axel also sat on the chair, and Angela said, "Since the last elder has come, we will start this meeting.
Most of you may not be aware of the reason I called for this emergency meeting. Yes, it is about the Paldea region."
There were some murmurs after hearing Angela's statement, but Angela continued.
"The league has failed, and the crown wants to correct the league's mistake. Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh, and Unova are participating in this war. To overthrow the Seven Deadly Sins.

"That might not be possible since so many regions are participating. But I believe that we will get something.", said Mark.
"Since Axel has a lot of experience in wars and battles, I believe that he should be appointed as the leader of his operation.", said Angela.
She looked at everyone and asked, "Does anyone have a problem with this?"
None of them raised their hand. So now it was approved. Axel will be taking a leadership position in the upcoming war.
