Everyone was looking at Axel for instructions. He never expected to be the leader in dealing with the 'Seven Deadly Sins'.
"Alright, first of all, let me tell you that I am not experienced in dealing with attacking war. I am only experienced in defense, as I have done in the past with tide battles. With the new war where we will be attacking, we will not only have to deal with stronger Pokemon but also human strategies.
This is on a whole different level. We don't know anything. So, first of all, if we are really thinking about participating in this war, we must first know what the region is planning for us to do."

We don't know how powerful they really are. Who is the leader of this organization? Their numbers and what kind of forces they have. What strategies did they use to defeat the league?
If we are even thinking of steeping on this war, we must know about these things. Then, there will be a division of responsibility between the starter families of each region. Who will contribute in what fields and what quest?
We have to know about them. We are only 50k strong. That is not a big number. So, I don't think that we will be responsible for any huge fights."
At that point, Aron asked, "Axel, what do you feel about this war? Do you think that it is a good opportunity for us?"
"Sigh, Frankly, I don't have a good feeling about this war."

He was one of the deciders of the region, and he knew the situation. The Hoenn never had a backup plan if something were to happen to the league. They had a very good relationship with the league. So, they didn't have a prepared army to fend off any outside force.
Now, the league was getting shaky; they didn't have enough army or resources to fend for the tide battle, much less participate in the war.
Joseph was an opportunist. He knew that participating in this war would only bring them profits, but the king would not budge, and the king was not wrong in this.

Meanwhile, Johto was pumping up for participating in the war.

But if they were able to contribute to the war, then they might make a lot of money on this. Even if they lost a part of their land to Kanto, they would still have some over Paldea.
The king was serious about this, and he had appointed the champion as the commander of this war.
"We will do it. We will make you proud."

"Oh, come on, Pride. How can you be such a scaredy cat? All of it is going according to plan. We are going to hit it big.", laughed a man, slamming his hand on the table.
"Sir, we will have to face the full force of the league now and also from other regions. My sources say that Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh, and Unova are planning to wipe us out. Do you really think that we can be prepared by that time?"
A young man who was sitting at the center finally opened his eyes and said, "Pride, how can you call yourself Pride when you are so scared? Your predecessor would have been utterly disappointed.

Others started to look at her in a positive light. The young man said, "So, what brings you here, General Yami?"
"Sir, I have partially completed the task you have given me. The only reason I am saying it was a partial completion is because I may be 1% wrong in the data."
"Good job, Yami. You can rest for a day and give me the reports tomorrow. Axel Blaze can wait for some time."
