"That is a big number. How can you give such a huge compensation even though you just started your mercenary team?", asked Mira.
The average compensation that the league provided to the families of the dead soldiers was around 1-2 million Poke dollars. Axel was paying 9 times more. That was a huge thing. A revelation for common people.
"Tide battles are incredibly profitable if we keep our losses as low as possible and plan everything perfectly. I believe that 18 million Poke dollars is actually a very low amount for a life, but right now, that is what we are capable of. But I promise that once we get some experience, we will be able to provide more."
"Since you are providing 9 times more compensation than the league, is it safe to say that you are indirectly telling that the league is incompetent?", asked Mira.
"Yes, I am. In the recent battle, the league faced more than 40% casualty in Lavender Town. I saw it with my own eyes. With the increase in tide battles that we are facing and if the league remains the major deterrent in the future, too, I believe that we might even have a human being left after 10 years.
So, yes, they are very incompetent. So, either they must change their ways, or they should give other people a chance to protect the lives of our homes.", said Axel.
Each words were planned to make it sound genuine and also to humiliate the league.
"Are you criticizing the league because of what we heard a couple of days ago? About your kidnapping? Now, I know that it is a sensitive topic for you, but we have to discuss this."
"That might be a part of the reason, but you cannot say that I am wrong."
"Axel, why do you think that the league planned your kidnapping? Do you have any idea?"
"Actually, I do, and I also don't. I don't have a good relationship with Gerad, the head of the Kanto region. But aside from that, I don't have any reason to believe that I have a bad relationship with the league. I have only met Romeo during the tide battle of Kanto League City, and he seemed quite happy to meet me.
So, I feel that it was Gerad who did all those things. Still, it scares me that the league that we trusted so long would be jealous of a trainer that came from a humble background."
"So, what do you plan to do now? Do you plan to get your revenge?", asked Mira.
"I want to do many things, but I am just a simple man. I come from a humble background. How could I do anything to a giant like the league? So, of course, I am not going to do anything because there is nothing I can do.
But I promise that when I become capable of doing anything, I will shake the whole world."
"Final question. We can already tell that the league is not performing well. It lacks a lot of things. Why do you think that is? The league was created to deal with tide battle, and now a new mercenary team could perform better than it."
"Well, you will have to ask Romeo for that. But if you ask me, then I think that it happens to every organization that has been enjoying monopoly for 100s of years. You take things for granted, you feel that you are the one ruling the whole world, and you feel that you can do nothing wrong.
I think that the league suffered from that."
"Thank you, Axel, for….."

There was a subtle change in how people viewed the league now. The riots and the strike might stop after some point, and things might return back to normal, but from today, the perception of the people towards the league had changed completely.
Before, the league was the sole savior of the world. They were the ones who fought for them in the tide battles. People knew how the league treated common people and how it enjoyed various benefits. But they had nowhere else to go.
But now, mercenary teams like Axel were showing much more promising results than the league. Now, people don't have to just depend on the league. They have other shoulders to cry on.
There were many frustrated soldiers in the league who wanted to start their own mercenary team. But they never had the courage, but now things have changed. The league suffered the largest soldier turnover in its history this year.
A lot of people were leaving. Some of them were trying to make their own mercenary team and get it registered with the royal family, while some joined other mercenary teams.
Fairy Tail had the biggest influx of soldiers and trainers, but only 40000 were selected as reserve members.
These 40000 were the cream of the crop with all of them having at least 2 pseudo-king rank Pokemon. There were also some rare ones who had king-rank Pokemon.
"All of you will pay special attention to these people. For the next 2 months, they will be trained in their own bodies. I don't want you teaching any of our strategies. By the end of 2 months, we will get to know who are the spies in those 40000 people. Then, we will train them appropriately.

A couple of days have passed since the interview. Axel wanted to advertise his daycare, too, but as of right now, daycare was just growing, and it would not be able to handle so many customers.
So, he decided to think about how to evolve Primeape into Annihilape. Primeape was already a pseudo-king rank Pokemon now, and it was time for it to evolve. In the games, a Primeape will evolve into Annihilape if it uses the move 'Rage fist' 20 times, but it was not so simple in real life.
If a Primeape was to evolve with such a simple method, then people would have already discovered how to evolve it. Yes, Primeape to Annihilape was one of those evolutions that had yet to be discovered.
Another interesting thing was that people in this world didn't know about the move 'Rage fist'. Now, Axel didn't know how to proceed.
He had been teaching Primeape how to use the move 'Rage fist.' He knew the concept of the move, but it was a ghost-type move, and it was outside Primeape's expertise.
'Rage Fist' was something that only a Primeape species could learn. The concept of the move was simple. The user will convert its rage into energy and strike the opponent, and the more times the user was hit, the greater would be the move power.
Primeape had been trying to learn this move for a week now, but it had not been able to do it.
Finally, he asked Shedinja for help and told him all about the problem that he was facing.
"Axel, as far as I know, ghost-type energy can be divided into three types. Darkness, soul, and shadow. From what you have explained to me, it must be a soul type. The move 'Rage fist' not only enables the channel of all the anger into a fist but also transcends the anger to a new evolution.
I am just learning soul-type energy, and I don't have a good grasp on it. So, I cannot help you in the evolution of Primeape, but learning the move is quite easy, and I can teach that to Primeape."
"I don't understand. You said that you don't have a good knowledge of soul-type energy, but you are also saying that you can teach the move?"
"Oh, the concept of the move is very simple. You just have to learn to channel and manipulate your anger to ghost-type energy. But channeling so much anger to the move that it overloads your body to evolution, that is soul-type energy."
'Well, at least, I got the first part done.', thought Axel.
Shedinja began to each Primeape on how to use the move 'Rage Fist'.
"Try to manipulate your ability 'Vital spirit' and control your anger and then direct that anger to your fist.", said Shedinja.
It began to teach how to do it, and within 3 days,
Ding!
Primeape has learned 'Rage Fist'.
The system didn't say that it was a new move and Axel should name it.
'This means that in ancient times, Primeape knew about this move.', thought Axel.
"Gary, first of all, you will train on this move and become efficient on it.", said Axel.
He wanted it to train it to level 39.
Normally, Axel would not be able to evolve Primeape in a short time, but then it clicked for him. He had the power of the system.
With the system's powers, the move of his Pokemon would have a drastic improvement when they reach level 40 and every five levels after that.
But that would take some time.
Axel was also thinking about Aron, Koffing, and Pawniard. These were the new young Pokemon that he had caught some months ago. Everyone was now ready to start their training, especially Aron.
The things that Aron needed the most right now were rare minerals and iron ores. Aron was known for eating them, and its future development was dependent on the quality of minerals and iron ores that it ate.
Axel didn't know much about the rare minerals and iron ores, so he contacted his good friend Steven and paid a massive amount of 4 billion Poke dollars to supply all the resources to him till it evolved to Larion.
That was a massive sum of money to be spent on a single Pokemon, but Axel could afford it. Besides that, it had been training on its existing moves like 'Iron head,' 'Head smash,' 'Iron defense', and 'Bullet seed.' Its hidden power was grass, and Axel had high hopes for it.
None of its moves had reached level 40, but Axel didn't worry about it. For now, it was necessary for Aron to be familiar with different kinds of energy, especially steel-type energy, because that would be its primary typing in the future.
He also wanted to be familiar with the grass type move 'Bullet seed' as he would be learning other grass-type moves in the future.
All of its stats were already at S rank now, but Axel had put the evolution condition that it would not evolve for another 2 weeks. He had seen how powerful Steven's Aggron was, and as per Steven's advice, he had to be patient with Aron.
Axel was now thinking of challenging some gym battles. It had been some time since he had done it. Axel was more focused on the tide battle than the gym battle right now because he knew that he didn't have much time.
Regarding his aim of becoming the Pokemon master, he believed that he would be crowned as one when he saved the whole world.
Yet, gym battles were important for his Pokemon's growth. His Pokemon not only need to learn how to fight tide battles but also single or double battles. Besides, winning gym battles would earn him money and resources.
As he was thinking about it, Ashmita came running towards him.
"Sir.. SIR…."
"What is it now, Ashmita? Did something happen to the league again?", asked Axel jokingly.
"Actually, yes. Sort of."
This piqued his interest, and he said, "Oh really? What is the matter? Anything serious?"
"Sir, you know about the new main region that is in the process of being formed?"
"Yes, I believe that it was called Paldea."
"There was a massive war in that region between the league and seven deadly sins. The seven deadly sins won the war and threw the league from that region."
"What happened to the region after that?"
"It has been reported that the seven deadly sins took full control of the region as the base of their operation."
