Gus responds to Robert, "Oh, not so long ago, Robert, we were at your anniversary party, but this is good, we meet once again, and you are looking good."
"Thank you, Gus, my wife keeps me fit."
"Hear that, honey? Paula keeps him fit."
Hearing Paula laugh, "You must try it sometime, Reasha. Every morning, Robert and I walk for an hour in the park. Robert recently went for a physical, and his report is fit as a fiddle."
"Thanks, honey, that is all because of you, hugging her. "Now the family is hungry from our long drive. Now let's go and sit with them and eat something, then we will mingle around. Gus, Reasha, will you excuse us?"
Feeling the hand around him, Robert slowly turned, "Shawney, you look magnificent, child."
"Thanks, Uncle, you and Aunty look dashing yourself, but where are the others?"
"They are hungry, love, so they already went to the table. We are going there now, will you join us?"
"In a while, Uncle," turning to Mr and Mrs Collins, saying, "This is a surprise, we meet again."
Paula holds Robert's hand, noticing that as Robert looks at her, she squeezes his hand.
Knowing she was speaking her silent language, he just stood next to her and waited.
Hearing the Collings saying, "Yes, we were surprised to see you here also, Shawney."
"I am sure you have already heard that Mr MacCarty invited me, and when I was at the hospital, I met Torren, and he extended an invitation to me, but I will be returning on the road very soon."
"Train was saying to us that you and Paula are related."
"That is true, Aunty Paula is my Dad's sister, and I came for their anniversary party."
"We were there, but we didn't see you."
When Paula intervenes in the conversation, saying, "Well, we did have a nice turnout, Mr Collin, and thanks for the gift, but I didn't know you knew my niece."
"Paula, on our tour, we met many people, your niece was one of them, she was with some church people, driving their church bus."
"My niece has many talents and is full of surprises, just look how beautiful she looks tonight."
"I notice Torren seems to be lost in her beauty." Mr Colling replies.
"I suppose so, but then which bachelor could turn down a beauty when they see one. Even if they have to look twice, they will turn their head. But who am I to say? You know him better than I; I only met him a few days ago. And Gus, he may be interested, but my niece is not interested. In a few days, she will be moving on."
When Mitch, Nellie, and Joseph enter the hall, "You know, Mitch, the house doesn't look so big outside, but this is a mansion." Joseph whispers to Mitch.
"I thought the same, it's the first time I'm seeing the inside."
Shaking Mr MacCarty's hand, "Sir, this mansion is beautiful." Joseph said to Train.
"Thank you, Doctor. I am so glad you came. Before you leave, I would like to have a little chat with you, so mingle around please, and feel free to partake in the meals."
"Isn't there any program?"
"No, Torren just wanted to have a small gathering, so I decided to invite a few friends."
"I see you are expecting a grand soon?"
"Yes, my two children are pregnant."
"But I thought they were your daughter-in-law?"
"Yes, they are, but my children are not always around, and those two spend all their spare time with me when they are not working."
Seeing Carl signal his Dad to come. Hearing Train said, "Now you all relax and enjoy your evening," as he walked across to Carl.
When Mitch heard Joseph say, "Wow!"
He turns around to see what he saw, "What is it, Joseph?"
"Who is she?" Joseph asks.
"Do you want to meet her?" Mitch asked; he knew it was Shawney because he had laid out the dress on her bed, which Torren brought before they returned from the beach.
"Yes, please, is she a model or movie star?"
Mitch chuckled, walking towards her, but then Carl stopped us.
"Aye, it is nice to see you, Mitch."
"Same here, Carl, and have you met Joseph?"
"Why does that name sound so familiar?" "Carl, Joseph is Torren Doctor." As Mitch introduces them.
"Yes, that's it, good to finally meet you, Doctor, Doctor. Joseph, I must thank you so much. Torren is much better."
"Don't thank me, it is Shawney, she is always praying and reading the bible with him, by the way, where is Shawney?"
"She was here a few minutes before I spoke with you."
Mitch, noticing his cousins eating, thinks to himself, "Thank God, hearing them complaining from the time they reach home, from the beach. They had clean out whatever leftovers were in the fridge. I only hope they don't embarrass themselves, and Aunty better behave herself. I heard Uncle Ken warning her before we left. I am afraid that the way she was angry, she might make a show like when we had our dinner. Lord, please help her to contain her bad habit. I wish she weren't so stubborn."
Touching Joseph's shoulder, "Here she comes." Seeing him covering his mouth, Shawney smiled as Mitch hugged him and laughed.
"What is the joke, Mitch?" Shawney ask.
"Our Doctor had just fallen in love with you."
Seeing her reach out and touch his heart, she started laughing, "Are you going to need me to call a Doctor, Doctor?"
