After dropping off Li Hua at her class, Su LingTian made his way to his own. When it was time for lunch, he and his friends started to make their way to the common area. When they heard something that caught their ear.
"Who does she think she is. We were only trying to be nice." Someone spoke from down the hall.
"But weren't we going to-." Someone else spoke but trailed off at the end.
The voices came from Sun Xi and her friends. Seeing Sun Xi, Lu Ting went over.
"Fair Princess Xi. Whose got you so mad?" He sweetly asked. Lu Ting was a true womanizer, his looks got him far with his dark brown hair and dimples but his mouth took the extra mile. He and Su LingTian's mothers had been friends so it was only natural they grew up together.
Seeing them approach, Sun Xi's expression drastically changed to a troubled one. Sun Xi had always been popular, she was one of the prettier girls at 2nd High. The moment she showed an ounce of displeasure people would try to please her. Seeing her face, Su LingTian frowned.
Seeing his reaction, she got excited. 'Maybe this was it!' She had been eyeing him ever since she met him in her first year, but to her disappointment he never spared her any time. It seemed the only time they interacted was when his friends were involved.
"You know Li Yan?"
"Yeah, who doesn't?"
"Well, apparently she has a sister named Li Hua. "
"What really?" He raised his eyebrows. Everyone knew of Li Yan but a Li Hua? Now that she mentioned it there was always talks of a younger child but there was nothing 'exceptional' about them.
"Yeah, who knew? Anyways, we thought it was a good idea to invite her to lunch since she's new bu-"
"But instead she made us look like bullies, who does she think she is?" Lei Xing spoke up from behind.
"Don't say that, maybe she was just shy..." Sun Xi said quietly while glancing at Su LingTian.
She was hoping he would pity her or at least show sympathy but to her dismay, he didn't even seem to be paying attention.
Actually, he had been interested but as he was listening he noticed a familiar silhouette down the hall .
"....I'll see you guys later." He suddenly said and without giving them any time to respond, he hurried off.
"Uhh...Alright bro see you later!" Lu Ting called after him.
Lu Ting turned back around to Sun Xi.
"Well back to what we were tal-"
"I'll tell you later." She cut him off. If the person she wanted to talk to wasn't there then what was the point.

Su LingTian followed Li Hua trying to catch up but he quickly noticed something.
'Is she.....lost?'
She had been walking around looking through different rooms, getting annoyed each time she didn't find what she wanted. At one point she kicked a wall, only to inwardly scream in pain. Seeing this he chuckled. If he was honest, the whole ordeal was...cute.
'Wait. Did I actually think that?' His eyes widened. He shook the thought from his mind and continued following her.
Finally, she gave a sigh of relief as she finally found what she was looking for.
'The Garden?'
There were two gardens in the school and no one ever really came here as it was the lesser one. It was filled with all sorts of flowers in different arrangements, from roses to daisies.
Li Hua walked around for a bit and admired the scenery until she came across a bench and sat down. Her back was away from Su Lingtian so he couldn't get a clear view of what she was doing. Realizing he probably looked like a creep he made his way over to her.
When he approached he bent down and asked "What're you doing?" Little did he realize she had been asleep. She jumped off the bench and glared at him. If looks could kill he'd definently be dead.
He took a few steps back and said "Sorry."
"....."
"....."
After a few seconds, she calmed down and asked "Why are you here?"
"Just enjoying the garden." He said nonchalantly.
She raised her eyebrow skeptically.
"I swear. I just happened to be here when I saw you. I didn't mean to bother you."
She took one final look at him and sat back down.
"Ok."
Seeing her sit back down, he sighed in relief.
Why was he so nervous? He stood there for a few seconds then finally sat down next to her.
Seeing this she inched back "What're you doing?"
"Sitting."
She looked around the garden. Her eye began to twitch. There were at least 3 other benches, why did he have to sit here?
Seeing her look around he said "What? am I not allowed to sit here? Last time I checked you didn't own this bench." He said matter-of-factly.
"Whatever"
She inwardly rolled her eyes. She pulled out a book from her bag and began reading it.
'Fantasy Is The Tears Of Reality'
It was by her favorite author Yi Ling. She just had a way of captivating her emotions. The story was about a girl who had a troubled home life. After walking through a door, she found herself in an alternate reality.
As she was reading it, She had forgot Su LingTian was even there. Seeing this he interrupted her.
"So you read Yi Ling?" He suddenly said out of nowhere.
She looked up in annoyance. "Yes. I do and?"
Finding her expression funny he continued. "Oh, I just find her writing a little childish."
Hearing his response, She smiled. "Oh Really?"
"Yeah. I find whoever reads her to also be a bit childish."
"Well, I find that the people who can't keep their opinions to themselves are very childish."
"Well, what's wrong with voicing my opinion. No ones stopped me before." Leaning in towards her face he lowered his voice and huskly asked. "Are you?"
Her eyes grew wide and her face started to flush.
She abruptly stood up, "I'm leaving now." She announced and hurried off.
Seeing her retreating back, he burst out in laughter. He didn't know why he did that, it just felt right. Seeing her cold demeanor dissolve he wondered how many sides of her were there. He could tell things were about to get interesting.
Li Hua hurried back to class. She tried her best to pay attention but her mind kept wandering back to what happened.
'Ugh! What's wrong with me?!" She knew she had to distance herself from people like that. They would only bring her trouble and she felt like he would bring her the worst.
School was quickly over and she received a message from the family driver that they were outside. She quickly gathered her things and walked out.
