I Evolved a Race

Within the fires of the Second Great War, James; an American of German descent who returned to his fatherland for its future, came to face the bleak reality that was the latter parts of the war. When given a final order to die protecting a checkpoint against the unending tide of human bodies from the Reds, he decisively gave a final order of retreat to his men, defying the higher ups, in order to give his nation a fighting chance by having more of its sons alive rather than burried. And to ensure his men reached safety without being labelled traitors, he faced the charge of the USSR alone. One man against an entire nation. And he lost, instantly. But that was not his end... Author's Note: I spent quite a long time on trying to complete past projects, but never quite got to doing much. After much deliberation, I finally found something to do, so here it is.
