Synopsis
A Fantastical Realm Series Book Three: MINARI Arc Two: From Dusk Till Dawn Episode Five — Part One Minari sets off on a journey in the Kelran Lands to retrieve the artifacts that the Wutherian Queen entrusted her with finding. She discovers a hidden cave in the process, a seemingly ordinary cave that turns out to hold one of the greatest mysteries known to mankind. The ninja struggles to fight for her own life upon coming face-to-face with a woman claiming to be the Lost Necromancer. While she succeeds to escape the grasp of the powerful dark magic wielder, Minari is sucked into an abyss of betrayal, deceit, greed, and manipulation as she watches the people who she calls her allies question her motives and turn against her. Many believe that the necromancer should be slain to grant the wishes of their ancestors. Some believe that the necromancer should be set free from the chains of mankind’s hatred and injustice—to leave what happened in the past. Queen Dalliah, the ruler of the Wutherian Empire, approves the proposed decision of the Council, a group of respectable and trusted elderly men. The necromancer will be slain with assistance from the Wutherian Empire Army and their ally empires. This decision further causes Minari’s allies to abhor her for discovering the necromancer’s whereabouts. With help from Sage, the Council member who voted against the necromancer’s death, her childhood crush and colleague Icozer, and a third-year Academy of the Fine Arts student Hoshie, who has the power to look into the past, read minds and tell the future of an individual, Minari sets off on a journey to Blackrise, the birthplace of the first necromancer in history, to discover the history of the necromancers and to prove their innocence to the Council before they carry out their plan to slay the only living necromancer.

Chapter 1 - R.J. Lee-Werkins 'A Haunting Tale to Sing'

THE LONE NECROMANCER LIVES ON

A peculiar woman was born in the depths of this land,

With a desire for so-called blessings of that freakish clan;

Oh, what magic they possess to revive the still hearts;

With a finger's motion, just who do they think they are?

She wields a power that man has yet to comprehend;

The dangers she threatens has lost her numerous friends;

As she passes through, a path is cleared for this mage,

That all may avoid their own death and stay safe.

But when the Unmasked have gotten rid of their kind,

Millions of hearts rejoiced; millions more of them smiled;

Yet one lone eccentric still stands out there;

In hiding from our sight, appear would she dare?

And when they witness her return to this domain,

May she be prepared for the hatred and pain

Which they shall inflict upon her from head to toe;

Oh, how they long to see her shriveled bones.

Beware, beware! The Lone Necromancer still lives on;

Lurking within a shadow, she is not dead; she is merely lost;

So up to this day, they wander around with excitement, from east to west,

Agog to hear her agonizing cries as they tear her heart from her chest.
