Chapter 3 - Chapter 2: Awakening

Untold Powers — Chapter 2: Awakening

At the highest hill of Tapas Village, beneath a vast Bodhi tree, the golden rays of the morning sun spread across the land.

Jai Veer sat cross-legged on the dew-soaked grass.

His eyes were closed.

His brows were tightly furrowed.

Completely focused.

Tiny specks of light shimmered faintly around him.

He was condensing his Jīva-Śakti.

His breathing slowed—steady, controlled.

Each inhale drew energy from the air.

Each exhale grounded him deeper into the earth.

Inside his body… he felt it.

A pulse.

Calm.

Steady.

Alive.

As if the world itself was breathing with him.

Then—

Something shifted.

A subtle click.

Warmth flared in his chest.

His core… activated.

Jai Veer's eyes snapped open.

"I did it!" he shouted, leaping to his feet, his heart racing. "I really did it!"

He didn't stop.

He ran.

Wind rushed past his ears as he dashed down the hill, dust clinging to his clothes.

"Mom! Dad!" he called out, excitement overflowing.

He burst into the training area where his parents were practicing.

"I've activated my core! Now I can cultivate just like you!" His voice trembled with joy. "I really did it!"

Kalyani froze.

Her hand rose to her mouth, eyes widening in disbelief.

Vikramaditya stood still for a moment… then a proud smile slowly formed.

"He's only eight…" Kalyani whispered, awe filling her voice.

They had expected this later.

Nine. Maybe ten.

But Jai Veer had always been different.

Vikramaditya stepped forward and placed a firm, gentle hand on his son's shoulder.

"You've made us proud, Jai," he said, his voice steady but warm. "This is just the beginning. You're going to do great things."

Jai Veer beamed.

Before they could say anything more—

he turned and ran again.

"Bye-bye! Today's cultivation target isn't finished yet—see you in the evening!"

They watched him go.

Smiling.

Proud.

But something in their eyes… lingered.

Days passed.

Jai Veer's awakening filled the house with joy—

yet a quiet weight settled in the hearts of Kalyani and Vikramaditya.

They had made a decision.

One they could no longer delay.

A mysterious underwater dungeon had appeared in the Mahodadhi—the Great Ocean.

Its entrance would remain open only for a few months.

Danger filled its depths.

But so did something greater.

Power.

Secrets.

Opportunity.

One evening, as the sun dipped behind the mountains, Kalyani sat beside her son.

Her fingers gently brushed through his hair.

"Jai Veer," she said softly, "your father and I need to go on a journey… to become stronger."

Jai Veer looked up.

His expression turned serious.

"Is it dangerous?"

She paused.

Very slightly.

"Yes," she said. "But it's necessary."

Vikramaditya stepped forward and knelt in front of him.

"We'll return as soon as we can," he said. "Until then… promise us something."

Jai Veer straightened his back.

Trying to look older than he was.

"I promise," he said. "I'll keep cultivating. I'll take care of myself."

He understood.

More than they expected.

Vikramaditya smiled.

"That's our son."

They left him in the care of Bhim Rao, a friend of Vikramaditya.

Jai Veer stood still.

Watching.

Until their figures disappeared into the horizon.

Something in his chest felt… empty.

But he didn't move.

A year passed.

Jai Veer trained relentlessly.

Day after day.

Night after night.

He pushed himself beyond limits.

And the results showed.

He reached 7-star Sharira-Shuddhi-Siddhi.

A level even older children struggled to achieve.

One afternoon—

he sat once again beneath the Bodhi tree.

The same place where everything began.

Meditating.

Listening.

Feeling.

Then—

he noticed it.

Something familiar.

A presence.

Faint… but unmistakable.

His eyes opened.

He stood up quickly and turned.

There—

"Mom! Dad!"

He ran.

Without thinking.

Kalyani caught him in her arms, holding him tightly.

"We missed you so much," she whispered, her voice trembling.

Vikramaditya stepped closer.

"We brought you something," he said.

But something in his tone felt… off.

Jai Veer noticed.

His instincts stirred.

Something wasn't right.

The sky darkened.

Clouds gathered unnaturally fast.

Then—

figures descended.

Warriors.

From the Naliniya Clan.

They surrounded them instantly.

At the front—

Elder Sagar Naliniya.

His eyes gleamed with cold intent.

"You thought you could escape?" he sneered. "Hand over what you found in the dungeon. Now."

Kalyani moved instantly.

She stepped in front of Jai Veer.

"We'll never give it to you."

Vikramaditya's jaw tightened.

"You want a divine secret?" he said coldly. "Take it… over our dead bodies."

The air turned heavy.

Hostile.

They knew.

There was no winning this.

Kalyani moved.

Without hesitation.

She pulled out a familiar device.

Jai Veer's eyes widened.

The same one…

The teleportation artifact.

Light began to gather.

"No… I won't go!" Jai Veer shouted, panic rising.

"You have to survive!" Kalyani cried, her voice breaking. "Grow strong—and find us!"

The light intensified.

Everything blurred.

And then—

he was gone.

The random teleportation device had reached its limit.

This was its final use.

Jai Veer crashed onto the ground.

Hard.

Branches snapped beneath him.

He gasped, pushing himself up.

The Vrishabha Forest.

Dark.

Dense.

Alive with unknown sounds.

He stood there.

Alone.

His breath trembled.

His heart pounded.

They're gone…

Then—

he noticed it.

A glow.

Floating before him.

A projection.

It activated.

"Jai… if you're seeing this, then we're not with you," Kalyani's voice echoed softly. "We're sorry."

His chest tightened.

"Protect the divine secret. Grow stronger using it. Our blessings will always be with you… our lovely son."

—Mom & Dad

The light faded.

Silence returned.

Tears streamed down his face.

His fists clenched.

His body trembled—

but he didn't collapse.

"I will survive," he whispered.

His voice shook.

But his eyes hardened.

"I will grow stronger."

He looked ahead.

Into the forest.

Into the unknown.

"I will protect the divine secret…"

His jaw clenched.

"…and I'll bring you back."

A step forward.

Then another.

The fear didn't disappear.

But something else rose.

Resolve.

He moved deeper into the forest.

Not as a child—

but as something… beginning to change.

Something the world had yet to understand.
