Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: Untold Destiny

Untold Powers — Chapter 1: Untold Destiny

In Jambudvīpa, the night felt unnaturally heavy.

Inside the Naliniya clan's massive palace, deep within the Aryaksha Empire, shadows flickered across the cold marble walls. The air trembled with tension as voices clashed violently in the grand hall.

Vikramaditya stood firm.

Unmoving.

Unyielding.

Before him stood Rajendra Naliniya—the head of the clan.

The old man's fury was unmistakable. His gaze was sharp enough to cut, yet Vikramaditya did not retreat—not even a step.

"I swear on my life—I will protect and love Kalyani until my last breath," Vikramaditya said, his voice steady, filled with sincerity rather than pride. "Give me a chance… to prove that I can keep her happy."

Rajendra's eyes narrowed.

"You come here," he said coldly, "with nothing but Manas-Siddhi 5-star cultivation… and dare ask for my daughter's hand?"

The words struck like a blow.

Vikramaditya felt it—but he didn't flinch.

His fists clenched. His jaw tightened.

"My cultivation may be lacking for now," he said, his voice lowering, calm but firm, "but my devotion is not. I can stake my life for her… and I will."

Rajendra snapped.

"Save me from your hollow proclamations. You will never deserve my precious daughter!"

Before another word could be spoken—

soft footsteps echoed.

Vikramaditya's eyes shifted.

Kalyani Naliniya stepped forward.

Her presence softened the suffocating tension, like the first rain after a long drought.

"You don't need to convince anyone," she said softly, stopping beside him. "Our love doesn't need approval to be real."

For a brief moment—

silence.

Then Rajendra laughed.

A bitter, mocking sound that echoed through the hall.

"You think love will protect him?" he sneered. "Elders! Warriors! Kill that bastard!"

The hall exploded into motion.

Auras flared.

Pressure surged.

Dozens of guards rushed forward, their killing intent flooding the space.

Vikramaditya shifted his stance instantly.

Kalyani moved with him.

Though she possessed only Manas-Siddhi 2-star cultivation, her eyes showed no hesitation.

The first wave struck.

Energy collided.

The two fought as one—

strike, defend, counter.

Perfect coordination.

But numbers… overwhelmed everything.

Vikramaditya felt it.

His breath grew heavier.

His body slowed.

His instincts warned him—

This won't last long…

Sweat slid down his temple. His grip tightened.

Still, he stepped forward.

"Kalyani…" he murmured, his voice faint but filled with warmth, "my hidden treasure…"

In the next instant—

he unleashed his energy.

A surge erupted from his core.

A shimmering dome formed around them.

100x Shield.

The attacks crashed into it.

Boom after boom.

The barrier trembled—but held.

Inside, Kalyani's eyes sharpened.

She reached into her storage and pulled out a sleek device—the artifact they had discovered long ago during a clan mission.

Her fingers tightened.

This is our only chance…

The guards closed in.

Closer.

Closer—

The device activated.

Light burst out.

In a single flash—

they vanished.

Silence fell over the hall.

Then—

"Find them!" Rajendra roared, his voice shaking the palace walls. "Search every inch of the Empire!"

His killing intent surged.

But they were already gone.

Far away…

In the neighboring Vrishabha Empire—

two figures appeared.

Vikramaditya staggered slightly, his breath uneven.

Kalyani steadied herself beside him.

They were alive.

For now.

After days of hiding and moving carefully, they found refuge in a small village—

Tapas Village.

A quiet place.

Far from power.

Far from danger.

Or so it seemed.

Two Years Later — Tapas Village

Life had changed.

The chaos of the past faded into something distant.

Days passed in peace.

Simple.

Quiet.

Yet their bond only grew stronger.

One stormy night—

thunder rolled across the sky.

Wind howled.

The moon struggled behind broken clouds.

Inside their small home—

a cry echoed.

Sharp.

New.

Alive.

Vikramaditya's heart skipped a beat.

He stepped inside the room.

Kalyani lay there, exhausted but smiling.

In his arms—

a child.

He looked down, eyes softening.

The weight he carried for years… lifted slightly.

"What should we name him?" he asked quietly.

Kalyani's lips curved gently.

"Jai Veer," she whispered. "Jai… for victory. Veer… for bravery."

Vikramaditya nodded slowly.

"Jai Veer…"

The name settled.

As if it had always belonged.

Later that night—

the village elder arrived.

Jyotisharaya ji.

He said nothing at first.

Only observed.

His eyes studied the child's palm… the alignment of the stars at his birth.

Seconds passed.

Then his expression changed.

His brows furrowed.

Something felt… off.

"This child's path will not be easy," he said at last, his voice low. "But his spirit is strong. Strong enough… to bend fate itself."

He paused.

His gaze deepened.

"But everything… depends on him. On how he faces what lies ahead."

Silence followed.

Vikramaditya and Kalyani exchanged a glance.

No words.

But both understood.

A silent promise formed.

To protect him.

To trust him.

To let him walk his own path.

Vikramaditya looked at his son once more.

"May Jai Veer bring light," he said softly. "Not only for us… but for everyone who needs it."

Outside—

the storm continued.

Thunder echoed across the sky.

And for a brief moment—

the wind shifted.

As if something… had noticed.

A destiny had been set into motion.

One that would not remain hidden for long.
