Chapter 3 - The System's Demand.

Taking a sharp turn, Agra's consciousness was kicked back in to his body as he found himself inside a moving a bus.

"What happened?" He found himself murmuring as he tried to lift himself up, but he was completely depleted of strength.

His head was extra heavy like he had carried the weight of the entire fate of the world, and his body was extremely sore.

Helpless, all he could do now was to use his lazy eyes to scan around the bus, and what he saw was a bus full of teenagers who were knocked out cold.

This was perplexing. One second it was the morning, then the other one it was already night time with the moon shining high in the sky.

"Have I really been sleeping for this long." He muttered while looking at the dim shining moon through the bus window.

This was followed by a long yawn and, in that moment, he felt his eyes being painful and swollen.

"Feels like I've been crying." Agra muttered while petting his eyes. "Or ..." He added, but he suddenly stopped in the middle of his sentence as the memories flooded his mind like a tsunami.

The betrayal, the pain, the broken trust, it all hit his nerves like a begining of an apocalypse as Agra couldn't hold back his tears anymore.

He thought he would have known if he has been cheated on. He thought the sacred bond between them would notify him of it, as it should, as how it has been doing to the other bonded, but guess what, it didn't.

This just made him to question everything, to question his life, to question Irene.

They have been practically lovers for over ten years now, and if she had done this just now, how many times had she betray him and pretended to be loyal.

He had given everything to her, his soul, his dedication, his everything, and she just has to cheat on him with a werewolf of all the things in the existence.

He remembered the look on Derek's eyes. The smirk, like he had purposely done this to him, and his aura, like he was celebrating and enjoying this, just gave Agra a sickening feeling in his stomach.

The pain and everything, the difficulty in breathing and ...

"Wait... What was that..?" He suddenly muttered as he remembered seeing something like a system screen, but didn't have to wonder for long as the magic happened.

{Break the witch-warlock bond to fully trigger the curse},

The words dangling in front of Agra's face was confusing as he couldn't make piece of a single sentence.

The Bloodline Anomaly, wasn't that thr fantasy stories the ancestors came up with thousands of years ago to give them hope?

And this curses, what even were that?

Nothing made sense to him that left him even more perplexed, but more text displayed soon.

[System Sych completed]

[The user can now view his status window]

It was then that Agra understood the weight of what was happening to him. Something that strong to just, just erase the magically attribute wasn't a joke. It was no wonder he felt this much sore in his entire body, and even when he tried to connect with his primary attribute, he just couldn't feel anything.

He felt hollow, like something was missing within his core and the system had officially made it clear to him on what exactly was missing.

This felt like a promising power, a way to stand beyond, and the only thing holding him back was the witch-warlock bond, which was kind of meaningless to him right now.

But then why? Why was he feeling like this? Why was he feeling like he wasn't ready to terminate the witch warlock bond yet?

Was it just that he still had feelings for Irene even after the betrayal, or was he just afraid of the unknown?

After all, the system sounded mysterious and powerful, and he needed to trade really careful.

"The limitations remains constant." He muttered with a bitter smile after going through his status information, but the words didn't just stop there as more dark black background computerized screen with a crimson writings displayed.

[Primary Attribute]

[Witch-warlock bond attribute]

[Ice attribute]

Agra didn't have to stay at this screen for long as it was quick and easy to understand, the limitations was the same, only giving him more reasons to let go of Irene as his curious self kicked in, but at the same time, he new he needed to take things slow as he moved on to the last screen.

[Quest Screen]

[Main Quest: Break the witch-warlock bond]

{Quest reward???}

After going through the system and learning everything that he possibly could, Agra had to just think about closing the system and it did disappear from his sight. And when he thought of opening the system again, the screen would automatically came displaying in his sight.

He looked around the bus and everybody was still deep asleep with only the driver and him being awake. He didn't know what he was searching for, maybe to just have a glance to Irene who was nowhere to been seen. But as he looked far ahead, he saw the gate with the worlds "Trinity Academy" magically opening as they had finally arrived at the Academy.
