Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The Beginning of Rage

The sky was still dark when Scy woke up.

The surroundings were quiet, but something felt off in his chest.

Something wasn't right.

Slowly, he rose from the floor.

He looked at the bed.

Natalia was still sleeping peacefully.

A small smile formed on his lips.

"At least… she's safe."

But the uneasiness in his heart didn't fade.

---

As soon as he stepped outside—

he noticed it immediately.

The streets were silent.

Too silent.

No people.

No sound.

As if something terrible had happened.

He frowned.

"What happened here…?"

He walked toward the center of the city.

As he got closer—

he smelled something.

The scent of blood.

He suddenly stopped.

His eyes widened.

---

In the middle of the street—

there were bodies.

Adventurers.

Civilians.

Covered in blood.

Lifeless.

"…"

He couldn't speak.

Slowly, his fist clenched.

Something was building inside him.

Anger.

---

He heard footsteps.

When he turned—

there were a few injured adventurers.

"What happened here?" Scy asked, his voice cold.

One of them trembled.

"Th-they attacked…"

"Who?!"

"Class S…"

"They were looking for someone…"

"They asked about a Class E kid…"

Scy's world turned cold.

"…Me."

The injured adventurer nodded.

"They did this…"

Scy's expression slowly changed.

His calm disappeared.

Replaced by cold fury.

---

"Where are they?"

"W-we don't know…"

He didn't say anything more.

He slowly turned his back.

But with every step—

his presence grew heavier.

The air around him turned cold.

Like a storm about to break.

---

Meanwhile…

on the other side of the city.

A group of Class S adventurers walked together.

"We still haven't found him…"

"I'm sure he's here."

"We need to kill him before he gets stronger."

But suddenly—

they stopped.

They felt something.

A presence.

An aura.

Something they couldn't explain.

"What… is this feeling?"

---

At the far end of the street—

Scy stood there.

Silent.

Head lowered.

His eyes hidden.

But his aura—

terrifying.

He was no longer the boy they knew.

Slowly, he walked toward them.

With every step—

the air grew heavier.

"You…"

one of the adventurers spoke.

"A-are you Scy?"

Scy didn't answer.

Instead—

he slowly raised his head.

And then—

they saw his eyes.

Empty.

Cold.

Filled with anger.

---

"You…"

his voice was quiet, but heavy.

"You did this… didn't you?"

No one answered.

But that was enough.

---

In an instant—

his aura exploded.

BOOM!

Everyone was shocked.

The Class S adventurers were forced back.

"What kind of power is this?!"

They couldn't move.

It was as if something was crushing them.

As if Scy's presence alone was enough to break them.

---

"You were looking for me… right?"

Blades began to form around him.

More.

Sharper.

More terrifying than before.

But that wasn't all.

His body—

started to change.

Melting.

Shifting.

Becoming something else.

A slime.

But—

a monster.

---

"Now…"

he spoke slowly.

"I'll come to you."

---

He rushed forward.

No holding back.

One movement—

One shout—

And—

CRASH!

The first Class S—

fell.

No resistance.

Dead.

---

"Impossible!"

"He's a monster!"

The others charged.

But—

it was useless.

Every attack—

meant nothing.

With every move Scy made—

another one fell.

One more.

And another.

Until—

none were left.

---

Silence.

No movement.

Blood.

Bodies.

And in the middle—

Scy stood.

Breathing heavily.

But the anger in his heart—

still remained.

---

Inside his mind—

a voice echoed.

"Destroy them all…"

"Kill them all…"

Slowly, he was losing himself.

His kindness—

fading away.

Replaced by something darker.

More dangerous.

---

Suddenly—

a voice called out.

"MASTER!"

A familiar voice.

Natalia.

She ran toward him.

"Master! Please!"

"Stop yourself!"

Scy froze.

Slowly, he turned his head.

Natalia was looking at him.

Tears in her eyes.

Shaking.

Afraid.

But worried.

---

In that moment—

it was as if he returned to himself.

His aura slowly disappeared.

The anger faded.

Replaced by silence.

---

"…Natalia…"

he said softly.

Slowly, he fell to his knees.

As if all his strength had left him.

---

Natalia ran to him.

She held him.

"Are you okay?"

Scy didn't answer.

He just stared at the ground.

---

"What… is happening to me…"

he whispered.

---

And in that moment—

he knew.

There was something inside him—

something he couldn't control.

And if it fully awakened…

he might never come back.
