The hall of Golden Hotel was filled with guests. The selected colour for guests was pink gowns and black suits. Different media platforms were there capturing the beautiful moment. The hall was decorated beautifully. The theme was pink since it was Diana's favourite colour.
In the dressing room Diana was admiring herself in the mirror. The stylist were jealous. Her wedding gown was beautiful and it was sleeveless.
"Miss Diana, you look beautiful. Your fiance is going to drool over you." Diana chuckled while inspecting herself. "Of course. My fiance is crazy about me. I hope he doesn't get too crazy." She said making everyone laugh.
"My child. You look beautiful. Come on now. It's time." Mr Sinclair said and held her daughter's hand.
The music started playing as the bride walked the isle with her father. Everyone admired how beautiful she looked right now. Mr Sinclair gave her hand to Alexander.
"Look after her." He said and Alexander nodded. The priest started the ceremony. They said their I do's.
"I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride." Diana was excited. She wanted to feel Alexander's lips on hers. Alexander leaned in while she closed her eyes. He kissed her cheek.
To everyone it seemed like he kissed her lips. The crowd erupted in cheers. Diana opened her eyes and saw Alexander with a cold face. She frowned and forced a smile.
They left the altar and started mingling with the guests. An hour later there is the wedding reception. She went to change her gown into a simple pink dress. She relaxed for a while.
The reception started. Diana sat besides Alexander with a smile on her face. The table was filled with lots of food. There were eating while talking and laughing. Suddenly an older couple entered with a man who looked handsome besides them.
The woman was wearing a white long dress. Her black tied neatly in a bun that there were no lose strands.
The older man besides her was in a black suit. His hair neatly done exposing his forehead. His eyes were cold as ice.
The younger man in his late twenties besides them had golden hair. He was in a black suit also. His features sharp. Everyone recognized them immediately.
Alexander and his family immediately stood up to meet them. Alexander hugged the woman and the two men.
"Mother , father welcome. Liam welcome." Alexander greeted with respect. Mr and Mrs Sinclair knew who this family were. Diana frowned at seeing how her husband is respecting this family so much.
He doesn't even address her parents as mother or father. He calls them Mr and Mrs Sinclair. She frowned wondering who they are.
Elizabeth smiled genuinely while embracing the older woman. Anyone can see she was genuinely happy more than she was at the wedding.
" Margaret, I'm glad you could make it. Joseph welcome and my little boy Liam." Elizabeth said making Liam hug her.
"Aunty Ma." Isla hugged her. Margaret chuckled as Isla cling to her. She embraced her in a hug. Isla looked at Joseph. "Uncle J." She said and hugged him while he patted her head.
"Liam hey." She said hugging him while her cheeks were red already. Liam whispered something to her ear making Isla cover her face.
The Sinclair family watched the scene. It's like we don't exist anymore. Diana clenched her fists. "Mom who are they?" She asked her mother.
"That's the Danvers family. They are the second richest family in the country. They are close friends more like family. " She responded. Diana then thought of Scarlett Ruby Danvers.
"Do they have a daughter?" she asked curiously. Her mother nodded. "Yes. The daughter grew up with Alexander everyone knows. The children of the Harrison and Danvers family grew up together. "
The Danvers walked over to the Sinclair family. Margaret smiled. "You must be Diana. I'm Margaret but your husband calls me... mother." She said smiling. Diana forced a smile.
"Oh please that boy treats you more like his mother than me." Elizabeth whined making everyone laugh.
"Oh please like Ruby did not grow up clinging to you." Margaret shot back at Elizabeth. Elizabeth's eyes were filled with warmth when they talked about Scarlett.
"I love that child with all my heart. But Alexander and Isla are always on your side. Max is always glued to Liam." Elizabeth said.
The air was filled with warmth while Diana was jealous. "Where is your daughter?" Diana couldn't hold back and asked. Margaret turned to her.
"Ruby is at the Harrison household. She basically moved there after her graduation. Alexander literally dragged her there." Everyone laughed expect the Sinclair family.
Diana felt jealous. So Bella was not lying. Scarlett stays with Alexander's family. Seeing the interaction between them it's clear that the families get along very well.
"Why didn't she come to the wedding?" Diana asked again. "She was busy." Max responded coldly. Bella looked at Max drooling. Max saw it and rolled his eyes.
"Anyway enough of us. Congratulations on your wedding Diana. This is my husband Joseph and my son Liam." The Sinclair family greeted them with respect but there was some arrogance in their behavior.
"Okay. We missed the wedding. We have to leave now. We have meetings. Alex son we will come for dinner another day." Joseph said making Alexander nod.
They left the hotel and bid goodbye to everyone. Everyone left the hotel and headed home. The drive to the Harrison household was quiet until Max broke it.
"Mama someone was flirting with Liam." Max said smirking at Isla who glared at him.
"Max! Stop lying. " Isla responded glaring at him. "He is not. I saw you two." Alexander responded. Isla gasped and turned to her mother wanting her support.
"Well I need a son in law." Elizabeth responded and Isla turned red. Diana almost rolled her eyes. They are acting like she doesn't exists. They reached the Harrison mansion an hour later.
They got off and Diana's eyes popped out of their sockets. This mansion must have costed more than a billion.
"Are you coming or you gonna keep staring." Max said making Diana follow inside. She gasped entering the inside. They were welcomed by a huge family portrait.
But there was another girl on the portrait who she does not know standing besides Alexander. She was breathtakingly beautiful. Her long black hair reached her waist.
Her eyes were cold that she felt a shiver down her spine. She looked like a doll. Isla nudged her making her come back to her senses. They reached the living room and saw a lady sitting on the couch her back facing them.
Her black her falling down her back. The family members smiled making Diana frowned.
"Scarlett." Elizabeth said making the lady turn to look at them. Diana's breathe hitched. This girl is so beautiful. She is the same girl on the portrait.
The lady stood up and she noticed something. She is pregnant. Her hand was resting on her baby bump. Elizabeth went to her and kiss her forehead.
"Darling, sorry we are late. Are you okay?" Elizabeth asked making Scarlett nod. Isla and Max went towards her and kissed her forehead with smiles on their faces. Diana looked at Alexander wondering if he will do the same.
Alexander walked towards her and hugged her then kissed her cheek. "Are you okay?" He asked making Scarlett nod. Alexander caressed her baby bump.
Scarlett looked at Diana who was glaring at her husband caressing another woman's baby bump. "Ruby, this is Diana your doll." Alexander said whispering the doll part in her ear.
Scarlett smirked and turned to Diana. "Nice to meet you sister in law." Scarlett said coldly. Diana forced a smile but she felt something strange when Scarlett spoke.
"N-nice to meet you too." Diana responded. Scarlett nodded and turned to Alexander who was still caressing her baby bump.
"I hope you don't mind that he is caressing my bump. My baby loves his touch." Scarlet said with an emotionless face. Diana looked at Alexander who was looking at Scarlett.
"Ruby did you eat?" Elizabeth asked. "Yes mama. I did. I'm going to sleep." Alexander put his hand on her back and guide her upstairs.
Diana was left dumbfounded. Elizabeth smiled at her. "Don't mind them. They have always been close since they were kids " Diana forced a smile and nodded. "Mari show Diana the room." Mari the maid came and gestured Diana to follow her.
"Welcome to the Harrison Household.".
