The Trash Disciple's Despair
The cold rain washed the blood from Dayal Karmakar's face. He was lying on the muddy ground of the Azure Mountain Sect. Above him stood three senior disciples, laughing.
"Look at this trash," one of them sneered, kicking Dayal in the ribs. "You have been in this sect for three years, Dayal. Yet, your cultivation is still at Level 0. You are a waste of our food!"
Dayal gripped the mud with his fingers. His heart burned with anger, but his body was too weak to fight back. In this world, strength was everything. Without a "Soul Talent," he was lower than a dog.
"Next time we see you, leave the sect forever," the seniors warned before walking away.
Dayal struggled to stand up. His bones ached. He looked at the broken wooden sword in his hand—his only possession. Suddenly, a cold, mechanical voice echoed in his brain.

Dayal froze. "Who is speaking?"

A translucent blue screen appeared in front of his eyes.

A warm energy flowed through Dayal's veins. His wounds started to heal, and his muscles felt stronger. For the first time in his life, he felt power.
He looked at the mountain peaks where the geniuses lived. A cold smile appeared on his face.
"They called me trash," Dayal whispered. "Now, I will devour everything until I reach the top."
