Arian ran as fast as he could, his heart pounding in his chest. The black shadow was following him, moving silently but quickly through the dark street. Every step he took echoed in the empty night.
His phone vibrated again.
"Time left: 2:00 minutes"
Arian glanced at the screen. Two minutes to survive… that's all he had.
He turned a corner and stumbled. A cold, invisible force seemed to push him forward. Then he noticed something strange—his hands were glowing faintly with a blackish light.
"Shadow Power unlocked."
Instinctively, he raised his hands. The black shadow hesitated, almost as if it could sense the change in Arian.
Using the glowing energy, he threw a small wave of shadow force at the creature. The shadow screeched and recoiled.
Arian realized: the system was giving him power to fight.
"This is real… I can't fail!" he thought.
The timer kept ticking. He sprinted toward a narrow alley, using every ounce of energy he had.
"1:15 minutes left"
The shadow creature lunged again, faster than before. But Arian was ready. He focused on his new power, and the black energy formed into a protective barrier around him. The creature crashed into it and stumbled back.
Arian gasped for breath. He had survived… for now.
His phone buzzed once more. A new message appeared:
"Mission Completed. Reward: 50 Shadow Coins. Next mission unlocked."
Arian looked up at the empty street. The shadow had disappeared—for now. But he knew this was only the beginning.
