Chapter 2: The First Mission
Arian stood frozen in the darkness.
The street that was bright a few seconds ago had suddenly turned silent and black. Even the sound of cars had disappeared.
His phone vibrated again in his hand.
He slowly looked down at the screen.
"First Mission: Survive the Shadow."
Arian's heart started beating faster.
"Survive? What does that even mean?" he whispered to himself.
Just then, the black shadow in front of him began to move faster.
It was no longer just a shape in the darkness. It looked like a tall figure made completely of black smoke.
Its glowing red eyes suddenly opened.
Arian felt a chill run down his spine.
He wanted to run, but his legs felt heavy.
His phone vibrated once more.
A new message appeared.
"Reward: Basic Shadow Power."
Another line appeared under it.
"Mission Time: 3 Minutes."
A timer suddenly started counting down.

The shadow creature let out a low growling sound and started moving toward him.
Arian took a step back.
His mind was racing.
"Three minutes… I just need to survive for three minutes!"
The creature suddenly rushed toward him.
Arian quickly turned and started running down the dark street.
Behind him, the shadow monster was chasing him through the darkness.
The timer on his phone kept counting down.

Arian realized something terrifying.
This was not a prank.
This was real.
And if he failed this mission…
He might not survive the night.
