Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Samsara Tower & Oshi no Ko

"Have you heard about our council president? He was so cool—he actually joined The Seven and became Homelander's teammate. I'm so jealous. It must be amazing to be in the same place as a cool and kind hero like Homelander."

What the actual fuck?

Who were these people?

And more importantly, who was the absolute idiot who thought being on a team with Homelander was some kind of lucky break?

Did their mother drop them on their head when they were a baby?

Before he could process that particular absurdity, another voice cut through from the opposite corner of the room.

"Hmph, what's so great about him? Our perfect angel Shiina has already conquered the Angel Beats dungeon, inherited their angelic computing power, and even brought a real angel here—to our school."

The buzzing voices continued without pause, overlapping and competing, each student trying to one-up the others with increasingly bizarre claims.

He clutched his head, the pain sharpening into something almost unbearable.

Fuck this.

What the hell is going on?

Why are they talking about Homelander and anime?

This is so bizarre. None of it makes any sense.

"Aqua, are you okay? You seem to be in pain."

A concerned voice echoed in his ears as he turned his attention to the girl—and his expression shifted to surprise.

"Akane Kurokawa?" he asked, the name escaping his lips before he could stop

He knew her. Not just casually, but intimately—the way any dedicated fan knew a character they'd followed across multiple seasons.

He'd watched Oshi no Ko all the way through Season 3, devoured the manga, tracked every plot twist and character beat with obsessive attention.

Unfortunately, he'd lost all desire to continue after being spoiled that the MC died a virgin, having never actually gotten with a single girl despite all the setup.

Maybe the author got annoyed that fans and the industry hated the incest angle when he originally wanted to write an incest ending with Ruby—and decided to troll them for being so loud and annoying.

I mean, it's obvious the author built up that slow-burn tension between Aqua and Ruby, but only realized too late that anime nowadays sucks.

It's not like the old days when you could write an incest ending like in Yosuga no Sora.

Maybe he wrote a secret incest ending somewhere that only he and his Discord members get to enjoy—while the rest of us can suck on that crappy ending.

"Aqua, you're spacing out again." Akane's voice pulled him back to the present, her brow furrowed with genuine worry. "Are you nervous? Do you want me to take you to—"

Before she could finish her sentence, footsteps from a distance interrupted their conversation, as a gorgeous young woman stepped through the doorway.

She had striking blue hair pulled back in a severe style, and she wore a military uniform that did nothing to hide her generously endowed figure.

Her presence was commanding, her expression one of cold disdain as she surveyed the room full of students.

"Alright, you good-for-nothing weaklings. Listen up. Your first tower climb begins today. This is the start of your coming of age—and the beginning of your life in hell. Step forward, place your hand on the ball. This will decide whether you're just dead meat or something useful."

The students exchanged glances, but instead of fear or confusion, their faces lit up with recognition and excitement.

Murmurs rippled through the crowd, their focus fixed on the gleaming orb that now sat on the instructor's desk.

"Is that the Awakening Ball?"

"Yes... Finally, it's here."

"We're going to be Awakeners!"

"Don't celebrate yet—what if we don't awaken anything?"

Despite the caution, the crowd's enthusiasm grew as one by one they approached the ball and awakened their dormant abilities.

The classroom had descended into chaos, but it was a specific kind of chaos—the kind that came with newly awakened powers and too much adrenaline.

Some students decided to show off immediately, cupping their hands and breathing fire across an empty corner of the room, the flames licking harmlessly against the reinforced walls while their classmates oohed and aahed.

Others, more cautious or perhaps more embarrassed, distanced themselves from the crowd, avoiding questions with averted eyes and mumbled excuses.

Maybe they were hiding their abilities.

Maybe they were ashamed that their awakened power was something useless—the ability to change the color of their fingernails or make flowers bloom in their hair.

Maybe, worst of all, they simply hadn't awakened anything at all, standing there empty-handed while everyone around them glowed with new potential.

When Aqua saw his own stats and awakening status, his face darkened.

Name: Aquamarine Hoshino

Status: Awakener

Strength: Civilian Level

Bloodline: Human

Private World: None

Vassal: None

Suzerain: None

Clan: None

Familia: None

Description: You are Aquamarine Hoshino, the son of famous idol Ai Hoshino and who is also a guild member of the royal family, VOCALOID, which is founded by Princess Hatsune Miku, the royal family of Japan and famous awakeners in the Samsara Tower.

[Congratulations, Aquamarine Hoshino. You have awakened the Impregnation System. We expect great things from you, Awakener.]

Aqua stared at the words.

Blinked.

Stared again.

The Impregnation System...

Did he watch too much porn last night?

His mother is Ai Hoshino. Esdeath is his teacher. His deskmate is Akane. There are also many classmates of his who are from the anime world.

And now... what?

Does his system want him to breed his mother and sister in this world now?

Speak of the devil, and he shall appear!

[Main Task: Love Thou Family]

[Details: Awakener, you are the chosen one. The creator expects great things from you, especially since this gift was never meant to be free. You must breed your sister and mother, impregnating them before your second dungeon floor begins. You have some time to sort out your affairs and decide if you are worthy of this gift. Do not disappoint us.]

[Time Limit: Before the Second Floor of the Dungeon]

[Reward: Nanomachines]

[Punishment: System Unbinding]

[Status Quest]

Ruby Hoshino (Incomplete)

Ai Hoshino (Incomplete)

Aqua read it once.

Then again.

Then a third time, just to make sure his eyes weren't playing tricks on him.

As soon as he'd awakened his system—literally the first quest it gave him—was to breed his own mother and sister.

What the actual fuck is wrong with you, system?!

He wasn't going to pretend to be some morally outraged puritan. He'd consumed enough questionable content in his previous life to know that taboos existed for a reason, and that reason was often because they were hot.

He could admit, at least to himself, that the idea didn't completely repulse him on a visceral level.

Ai Hoshino was gorgeous. Ruby was adorable.

But the reward?

Nanomachines?

The system wanted him to commit the ultimate familial taboo, risk everything, break every social and moral boundary—and the payoff was nanomachines?

Nanomachines might technically be overpowered if you knew how to use them right. They could heal, enhance, modify, potentially even grant immortality.

But they were also a grind. Nanomachines required constant attention and upgrading. They were the kind of power that demanded endless effort just to keep running at peak efficiency.

What he wanted—what he deserved for this kind of quest—was something effortless. Something like the Kryptonian Bloodline, where you got stronger just by standing in the sun.

No effort, no maintenance, just infinite scaling power from existing.

That was the kind of reward that made taboo-breaking worthwhile.

Not this shit.

[Your novice gift has been delivered. Stop whining and start breeding, you jerk!]

The message blazed across his vision in crude, mocking letters before fading into the corner of his consciousness.

Aqua blinked, processing the system's aggressively casual tone.

Okay...

He began to check his novice gift description.

[Mystic Eyes of Lust (Beginner): You can undress women with your eyes alone, put them in heat with your intense staring, and cause them to develop a strong lust for you.]

His gaze drifted to the front of the room, where Esdeath stood with her characteristic posture of absolute superiority.

Her arms crossed beneath her impressive chest, her pale blue hair cascading over one shoulder, her lips curved in a perpetual smirk that suggested she found everyone in the room beneath her notice.

She was, objectively, a masterpiece of dangerous beauty—and the perfect target for a field test.

He focused. He stared. He poured intent into his eyes, willing the power to activate—

[Warning!]

The alert flashed crimson across his vision, urgent and insistent.

[Your level is insufficient. Please level up your skill before using it on such a powerful target!]

[Detection Risk: HIGH. Target's hostility threshold: LOW but rising.]

Before he could abort and even look away, Esdeath's head snapped toward him.

Her ice-blue eyes narrowed to dangerous slits, locking onto him with the focused intensity of a predator who had just spotted particularly bold prey.

"What's with your eyes, weakling? Do you want to fight?"

"No, teacher, I just wanted to ask when we're starting," Aqua asked calmly, despite getting caught red-handed.

For a long, agonizing moment, Esdeath simply stared at him.

He could feel her assessing him, weighing whether he was worth the effort of punishment.

Then, with a cold snort that conveyed exactly what she thought of his excuse, she turned away.

"Alright, you good-for-nothings." Her voice carried through the room, dismissing him completely. "Let's start for the dungeon. Don't waste your teacher's time again."

She didn't wait for acknowledgment. She simply turned and strode toward the door, her military coat swirling behind her, clearly expecting them to follow like the obedient weaklings she believed them to be.

The group began to move, reluctant but lacking any real choice.

Feet shuffled.

Backpacks were adjusted.

Nervous whispers flickered between friends.

Akane drifted close to his side, her voice barely above a breath. "What was that, Aqua?"

He shrugged, keeping his expression neutral. "I just wanted to test my ability. Am I not allowed to?"

Her response was immediate, her brow furrowing with genuine concern. "But she's scary, Aqua."

She glanced toward the door where Esdeath had disappeared, then back at him, her eyes earnest. "If she troubles you, please tell me. I'll help you as best I can. Don't keep it to yourself."

"Okay... I will." Aqua nodded and continued walking with Akane.

One by one, students stepped onto the circle and vanished in flashes of light.

When their turn came, Aqua and Akane stepped forward together.

The world lurched, reality folding and twisting around them—

And then they were somewhere else entirely.

Before them rose a structure that defied architecture: the Samsara Tower, impossibly tall, its surface shifting between stone and something else, something that breathed.

The place where danger and opportunity coexisted.

The place where everything would begin.

...

Note: This is just a test and an experiment for now. I wanted to see how many views this gets and how many people like the premise and story first, before fully investing and committing to it. I'm very open to suggestions for the next world for Dungeon Quest, just let me know in the comments.
