After helping Yuuto complete the discharge procedures, Delia drove him home.
The white sedan cruised along the clean, quiet roads of Pallet Town.
The air after the rain felt exceptionally fresh and crisp.
Sunlight poured through the car windows, warm and comforting.
Yuuto sat in the passenger seat.
His right arm was in a cast, but that didn't stop him from enjoying the peaceful scenery outside.
Delia focused on driving.
The gentle lines of her profile were soft and graceful.
Her long brown hair rested over her shoulders.
Although her pink short-sleeved shirt had mostly dried, it still clung to her body in places.
Her full curves swayed subtly with every small bump in the road.
"Mrs. Hanako," Yuuto spoke first, beginning his daily charm offensive.
"Hmm?" Delia turned her head and gave him a quick glance.
"Thank you," Yuuto said sincerely. "Not only did you not run away after the accident, but you've taken such good care of me."
"Ah… it's what I should do." Delia felt a little embarrassed. "It was my fault to begin with."
"Even when people are clearly in the wrong, most wouldn't take responsibility all the way like you have." Yuuto smiled. "Mrs. Hanako is truly kind."
The words came from the heart.
Hearing them, Delia felt a warmth bloom in her chest.
A gentle smile unconsciously curved her lips.
"Don't be so polite, okay?" she said softly. "By the way, are you hungry? Once we get home, I'll make you something to eat."
"Sounds great." Yuuto nodded. "Mrs. Hanako's cooking must be amazing."
"How would you know?" Delia asked curiously.
"Just a feeling," Yuuto laughed. "Someone as gentle and attentive as you has to be a great cook."
Delia couldn't help but smile wider at that.
As a veteran gal-game player and someone who'd consumed countless romance stories,
Yuuto quickly figured out exactly how to make Delia happy.
Once their rapport grew a little warmer, Delia finally voiced the question that had been nagging at her.
She gripped the steering wheel, hesitated for a second, then spoke quietly:
"Um, Yuuto…"
"Hmm?"
"Last night, right before you passed out, you called my name… and you called me by that title…" As she spoke, Delia's cheeks inexplicably flushed. "Why was that?"
At the time, Yuuto's mind had been foggy and he'd blurted it out instinctively.
Thinking back now, Delia still felt her face heat up.
"Oh, that…" Yuuto's gaze flicked over quickly and landed on the work badge still pinned to Delia's chest.
"I saw your name on your badge," he pointed out.
"As for the title afterward…"
Yuuto paused, then smoothly started improvising:
"There's an old saying back in my hometown: 'A mother is whoever has milk!'"
"My head was all fuzzy at the time, and I was desperate for care and comfort. When I saw your incredible figure, it just… came out."
Pure nonsense Yuuto had made up on the spot.
He'd blurted it originally because he assumed the system-assigned identity would make Delia his "mother" figure.
But the next day the mission had triggered as the "Confidante / Romantic" route instead.
Now he could only double down on the lie.
Unexpectedly, his casual fabrication made Delia blush even harder.
A mother is whoever has milk… the words were way too direct.
Delia subconsciously glanced down at her own chest.
The pink short-sleeved shirt stretched taut, the faint outline of black lace visible underneath.
She bit her lower lip.
After a moment of silence, she said shyly:
"So that's what it was…"
Her voice was tiny, laced with embarrassment.
But she continued:
"Still… if you tried to drink, you might try for half a day and get nothing~"
"Because I've never even dated, let alone… produced milk~"
By the time she finished, Delia's face was scarlet all the way to her ears.
Yet she still tried to act composed.
"Even so, the care you're craving—I can still give you that. I'll take good care of you until you're fully recovered."
Embarrassed as she was,
Delia was still approaching thirty, after all.
Once she confirmed the relationship was warm and safe, she could manage a few playful follow-ups.
"Huh? Never dated? No children?" Yuuto feigned surprise for a second.
But he quickly pieced it together.
The system's "reasonable erasure" had rewritten Delia as a mature, unmarried young woman.
Not a wife or mother.
She was a top-tier, single, breathtakingly beautiful woman in her late twenties.
Ohhh~ so that's how it is!
Fine… I guess~ alas!
Hey, I'm not disappointed or anything… definitely not pulling any Cao Thief moves here!
"Yuuto, that comment was a little rude, you know." Delia pouted slightly. "I know my figure might not be perfect anymore, and my face isn't as youthful as it used to be, but… I don't look like I've given birth, do I~"
That mock-angry expression on the face of such a charming mature woman
was an irresistibly cute contrast.
Her full chest gently swayed with her little huff.
Her beautiful legs in black stockings pressed together beneath the tight bodycon skirt.
Yuuto felt his heart stir as he watched.
Fortunately, his emotional intelligence wasn't made of steel.
Realizing he'd slipped up, he immediately switched to sweet-talk mode until Delia's whole body relaxed.
"You're calling Mrs. Hanako's figure 'not perfect'?" Yuuto put on an expression like she'd said something absurd. "These are practically ideal proportions, okay?"
"And your face is indescribable—youthful charm mixed with mature allure."
"If I told anyone you were only in your early twenties, they'd believe me without question."
The praise was exaggerated.
But women eat this kind of flattery up.
The mock anger vanished from Delia's face instantly.
It was replaced by unconcealed delight.
"Smooth talker…" she muttered softly, but the corners of her mouth kept curving upward.
Finally, in a happy mood, Delia began to open up.
She kept her eyes on the road, hands on the wheel, voice gentle:
"Actually, when I was younger, I dreamed of becoming a Pokémon Trainer."
"I wanted to travel through every region, challenge Gyms, compete in the League…"
"But some family issues came up, and I had to start working to support everyone."
"After a few years of working, my youth slipped away."
"I never really felt the spark to date anyone. I just kept waiting for fate to bring the right person."
"And so… I drifted along until now."
Delia sighed softly:
"Lately I've been thinking seriously about quitting my job and finally making up for those regrets from my youth."
"And then… this accident happened with you…"
She turned her head and looked at Yuuto, her gaze complicated:
"But things aren't so bad now."
"At least it's helped me finally make up my mind to resign."
"As for what comes after… let's talk about it once I've taken care of you and you're fully recovered…"
Her tone carried a mix of uncertainty and procrastination.
Yuuto caught it immediately.
"Why wait?" He seized the opening and pushed forward to complete the mission.
Make Delia his travel companion. Start their Pokémon journey together.
"If you want to make up for it, then go for it!"
Yuuto's voice grew firm and passionate:
"So much time has already passed. Hesitating now would just waste even more."
"Mrs. Hanako, I want to become a Trainer too."
He looked straight into her eyes, sincere and intense:
"Once I'm healed, let's set out on the journey together."
"We'll chase what we love—together."
The words were fiery.
And carried just a hint of something more intimate.
"Mmm~" Delia felt a pleasant shiver run through her at his enthusiasm.
Her grip tightened on the steering wheel.
Her black-stockinged legs unconsciously pressed together.
This was exactly what Delia had always lacked.
She wasn't someone with strong resolve.
She could hesitate forever over big decisions.
She'd always secretly wished for someone decisive—
Someone to guide her, to help her commit to the things she truly wanted.
Yuuto's arrival seemed to fill that exact empty space.
Young, full of energy and determination.
Even injured, the fire in his eyes was unmistakable.
Delia's favorable impression of him rose sharply again.
She took a deep breath.
A gentle but resolute smile spread across her face.
"Alright~"
She turned to look at Yuuto, eyes sparkling:
"Once you're recovered, we'll set out together."
"We'll do what we want—together."
Her voice was filled with anticipation and quiet excitement.
Yuuto saw the moved, affirmative look on her face.
A satisfied smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.
First part of the mission—complete.
The 100% boost to his basic physical attributes would be his soon.
The two exchanged smiles.
The atmosphere inside the car turned warm and subtly charged.
As they chatted, the car pulled into a quiet residential area.
It finally stopped in front of a neat two-story house with a small front yard.
"We're here." Delia parked and unbuckled her seatbelt. "This is my home."
Yuuto looked at the house.
Classic Japanese style.
Clean and well-kept.
Flowers and plants bloomed in the yard.
Delia clearly knew how to live beautifully.
"Come on, be careful." Delia got out first, walked around to the passenger side, and opened his door.
She bent down and reached out to help him.
The motion brought her full chest dangerously close to Yuuto's face.
A faint mix of perfume and her natural feminine scent washed over him.
Yuuto took a deep breath.
With Delia's support, he slowly climbed out of the car.
The warming of their relationship made Delia far more relaxed in how she helped him.
She was practically supporting him with half her body.
Yuuto's left hand naturally rested on her shoulder.
His casted right arm hung at his side.
Their bodies pressed close together.
The warmth and softness radiating from Delia made Yuuto's thoughts wander.
And the physical perks were delivered in full.
With every step,
Yuuto could feel the curve of her body against him.
Her full chest pressed softly into his arm.
Her slender waist fit perfectly under his palm.
Her rounded hips occasionally brushed his leg.
Her black-stockinged legs swayed enticingly in front of him.
This treatment… was heavenly.
Yuuto was secretly thrilled.
Yet he kept a weak, pitiful expression on his face.
"Walk slowly, no rush," Delia said gently, completely unaware.
Or perhaps she was aware, but since he was the injured person she'd hit, she didn't mind at all.
The two slowly made their way into the house.
The entrance hall was spotless.
Wooden flooring gleamed softly.
"You sit for a moment. I'll grab the slippers." Delia had Yuuto lean against the wall.
She bent down and pulled two pairs of house slippers from the shoe cabinet.
That bending motion instantly tightened her bodycon skirt.
The perfect curve of her hips was displayed beautifully.
Her black-stockinged legs stayed straight and elegant.
"Here, put these on." Delia placed the slippers at Yuuto's feet.
Then she naturally squatted down.
Reaching out to help him untie his shoes.
"Mrs. Hanako, I can do it myself," Yuuto said quickly.
"Don't move—your hand's injured." Delia gently pressed his leg down.
She squatted in front of him.
Head lowered, she focused on untying the laces.
From this angle,
Yuuto had a perfect view of her lowered lashes.
Her rosy lips.
And… the deep, open neckline of her shirt… completely exposed.
This was getting dangerous!
Delia quickly finished changing his shoes.
Then slipped into her own pair.
"Come on, I'll help you to the living room to sit." She stood up and supported him again.
The two walked into the living room.
It was decorated warmly.
Soft-toned sofa.
Fresh flower arrangement on the coffee table.
Landscape paintings on the walls.
"Sit here first. I'll get you some water." Delia eased Yuuto onto the sofa.
Then turned and headed to the kitchen.
Yuuto leaned back into the plush cushions.
Looking around casually.
Just then, a sudden wave of urgency hit him.
After lying in the hospital all night
and the long car ride,
nature was calling.
"Delia, where's the bathroom~? I need to go!" Yuuto called out.
"Oh, wait a second, Yuuto—I'll help you!" Delia hurried back out of the kitchen.
She was still holding an empty glass.
"Hmm? You'll help me?" Yuuto looked at her in genuine confusion. "Uh… I just need to pee."
"Yes! Exactly, I'll help you." Delia said seriously, not joking at all. "Your hand's injured—how are you supposed to manage? I don't want you to make a mess on your clothes. I'll hold it for you."
She spoke with complete sincerity.
Then she seemed to realize how it sounded and laughed lightly:
"Oh~ don't worry. Your big sister is twenty-eight—I've seen everything. It's fine. This is part of taking care of you."
Delia said it to reassure him.
In truth, she hadn't actually "seen everything."
But she had studied biology and had a general idea.
And in her mind, Yuuto was currently an injured person who needed help.
Helping was the right thing.
A faint smile curled Yuuto's lips.
He stopped trying to refuse.
When a benefit is offered so willingly, you don't turn it down.
"Then… I'll have to trouble you, Mrs. Hanako." He pretended to look embarrassed.
"No trouble at all. Let's go." Delia set the glass down and came over to support him again.
The two headed toward the bathroom.
It was at the end of the first-floor hallway.
Small but very clean.
Delia helped Yuuto inside.
Then closed the door behind them.
In the cramped space,
suddenly it was just the two of them.
The atmosphere instantly turned subtle and charged.
Delia's face was faintly flushed.
But she still tried to act calm.
"Come on, stand steady." She positioned Yuuto facing the toilet.
Then stood right beside him.
After a rustle of fabric,
Delia suddenly froze.
Her pupils dilated.
Her mouth fell slightly open.
Shock written across her face, endless…
