Endless Chaos – Chaos Void Plane: The Path of Belief
Chapter 2 — The First Believer
The golden spark drifted silently through the endless Chaos Void.
Around it, the chaotic sea continued to rage like a storm without end. Violent currents tore apart weak concepts and erased fragile existences that had no anchor in the void.
Yet the spark endured.
Thin strands of light slowly flowed toward it from distant worlds.
They were threads of belief.
Every time a living being prayed, hoped, or believed in something beyond themselves, a faint ripple formed within the Chaos Void. Most of those ripples scattered and vanished.
But the golden spark pulled them in.
The more belief it absorbed, the brighter it became.
Inside the spark, the wandering consciousness slowly began to awaken further.
Thoughts formed.
Curiosity.
Awareness.
And instinct.
"This power… comes from belief."
The consciousness could feel it clearly now. The threads were not random energy—they carried emotion, hope, fear, admiration, and faith.
Each thread strengthened the spark slightly.
However, the Chaos Void was merciless.
A violent wave of chaos suddenly surged nearby, devouring several drifting Concept Seeds in an instant.
The golden spark trembled.
It realized something important.
Without an anchor, it could eventually be erased like the others.
Far across the Chaos Void, massive worlds shined like distant stars. They were the domains of powerful beings who had already condensed their own planes to resist the erosion of chaos.
The spark was far too weak to create something like that.
But instinct guided it.
Instead of creating a world…
It created something smaller.
The golden spark gathered all the belief threads it had collected. The threads slowly twisted together, forming a tiny glowing core.
A seed.
A Faith Seed.
The moment it formed, the surrounding chaos briefly calmed.
A faint space appeared around the spark—a tiny, fragile pocket within the Chaos Void.
It was no larger than a grain of sand compared to the massive worlds floating in the distance.
Yet it was stable.
A small Belief Realm had been born.
The consciousness inside the spark felt something new.
Relief.
"This… is my domain."
Although small, the Belief Realm acted as an anchor, protecting the spark from the direct erosion of chaos.
But something even more surprising happened.
One of the belief threads suddenly grew brighter.
Much brighter.
The spark followed the thread.
Through the endless darkness of the Chaos Void, its awareness stretched toward a distant world.
A primitive planet floated within a fragile plane created by a weak Concept Walker. The world was still young, filled with wild lands, mountains, and vast forests.
Small tribes of intelligent beings lived there.
One of them was a child.
The child sat alone on a cliff under a dark sky filled with unfamiliar stars. His tribe had been suffering from disasters—storms, monsters, and endless hardship.
The child closed his eyes and whispered softly.
"Please… if there is someone out there… help us."
His voice was weak.
But his belief was pure.
At that moment, his prayer created a strong thread of faith that pierced through the Chaos Void.
And it reached the golden spark.
Inside the Belief Realm, the consciousness felt the prayer clearly.
For the first time…
Someone believed in it.
The spark pulsed with warmth.
It gently sent a tiny fragment of its power down the thread of belief.
On the distant world, the child suddenly felt a warm light surrounding him.
The raging storm clouds above the mountains slowly parted.
Moonlight shined down upon the cliff.
The boy opened his eyes in shock.
He looked toward the sky with wonder.
"Thank you…" he whispered.
At that moment, something changed within the Chaos Void.
The thread connecting them became stronger.
The boy's belief transformed into something stable.
A permanent connection.
Inside the Belief Realm, the golden spark trembled slightly.
A new realization appeared in its mind.
"Belief grows stronger when it is answered."
And far away, deep within the Chaos Void…
Ancient eyes slowly opened.
Something had just formed.
A true believer.
And where there are believers…
Gods are never far behind.
