Endless Chaos — Chaos Void Plane: The Path of Knowledge

Chapter 19 — The Trial of Shattered Universes

Reality collapsed.

The endless shelves of the Library of Silent Truths vanished like dust scattered by the wind. In their place appeared a vast battlefield of broken realities.

Kael stood alone.

Around him floated fragments of shattered universes—pieces of galaxies, broken stars, drifting continents, and oceans suspended in empty space.

Every fragment carried a different law of reality.

Some pieces burned with infinite fire.

Others froze time itself.

A few bent gravity in impossible directions.

The voice of the Guardian of the First Library echoed through the broken cosmos.

"This is the Trial of Knowledge."

"Every fragment you see is a universe that once existed."

Kael looked around carefully.

Thousands.

No… millions.

Millions of destroyed universes floated silently around him.

"What happened to them?" Kael asked.

The guardian answered without emotion.

"They discovered truths they could not control."

Suddenly, one of the fragments began to move.

A ruined world slowly drifted toward Kael.

From its surface rose a massive creature made entirely of broken laws of physics. Its body flickered between forms—sometimes solid, sometimes liquid, sometimes pure energy.

The guardian spoke again.

"This is the Echo of a Destroyed Universe."

"A creature born from unstable knowledge."

The creature roared.

Its roar caused nearby fragments to shatter further.

Kael raised his hand, and the Chaos Wonder Artifact of Knowledge appeared, glowing softly.

Runes spread across the void.

Information flooded Kael's mind.

The creature wasn't alive.

It was a living contradiction—a reality that could not stabilize itself after learning forbidden truths.

Kael whispered quietly.

"So the trial is not about strength."

The artifact responded.

"Correct."

"The trial measures understanding."

The creature charged.

Reality twisted violently as it moved, tearing space apart.

But Kael did not run.

Instead, he closed his eyes.

The artifact began analyzing the creature.

Millions of lines of knowledge unfolded inside Kael's mind.

Mathematical patterns.

Concept structures.

Reality equations.

Then Kael opened his eyes.

"I see it now."

The creature was not attacking randomly.

It was repeating the final moment of its universe's collapse.

A loop.

A broken concept trapped in eternal repetition.

Kael raised his hand toward the creature.

"Then the solution is simple."

He focused on the black sphere of forbidden knowledge floating beside him.

The word inside it pulsed.

Rewrite.

The guardian's voice suddenly thundered.

"Do not use it!"

But Kael did not activate the forbidden power.

Instead, he used the knowledge he gained from it.

He spoke calmly.

"Your universe collapsed because your laws contradicted each other."

"So let me fix that."

Kael extended his hand.

Golden runes of knowledge spread outward like stars forming in darkness.

He didn't destroy the creature.

He corrected its broken concept.

The creature froze.

Its unstable body slowly stabilized.

Then, for the first time since its universe collapsed…

It became calm.

The monstrous form dissolved into a sphere of soft light.

The guardian watched silently.

The battlefield of shattered universes slowly grew still.

Finally, the guardian spoke again.

But this time, its voice carried something new.

Respect.

"You did not destroy the broken universe."

"You restored its logic."

Kael lowered his hand.

"Knowledge should fix problems… not create them."

For a moment, the void was completely silent.

Then the guardian declared:

"The first phase of the trial is complete."

Suddenly—

The battlefield changed again.

The fragments of shattered universes began to merge.

A far larger and far more terrifying structure appeared in the distance.

A giant cosmic gate, made from countless sealed concepts.

The guardian spoke with ancient gravity.

"Beyond that gate lies the Second Trial."

"The Truth of the Chaos Void."

Kael looked at the enormous gate.

Strange symbols were carved into its surface.

And at the center of the gate…

He saw ten empty thrones.

The guardian whispered one final sentence.

"Those thrones belong to the future rulers of the Chaos Void."

"The Ten Chaos Lords."

Kael felt something deep within his existence react.

As if destiny itself had begun to move.

And the trial…

Was only beginning.
