Japan has been conquered. the beautiful temples of Tokyo stripped of power. and taken over by a single man. The country was divided into 7 sectors, those with no respect sent straight to the bottom of the barrel. respect.. is what the emperor trusts the most.
(scene: sector 5, Japan. year: 2069. )
The air is musty, the village buildings are hollow do to time. windows broken, paint peeling off like old healing scars. the dirt roads are basically empty. metal signs hang loosely from buildings, its almost a ghost town. until.. a boys head full of messy blonde hair sticks out of an alleyway. Looking around checking the coast.. before stepping out.
enter: kai nikaziwa.
A head of blonde hair with blue eyes. his red jacket and black jeans dirtied. He exhales as he walks, hands in his pockets. his eyes cant help but check around his surroundings. As he walks, tired thoughts fill his mind. "this place.. it never changes." as he walks.. he sees graffiti sprayed on the wall. his eyes widening. graffiti of a boar with the words "SOUTH CLAIMED".. a gang signing. marking their territory.
Kai: "Tch... i should get out the area-"
As the thought crosses his mind, a voice calls out to him. "HEY!" aggressive. not a drop of friendliness. Kai freezes for a moment, then turns.. a dusty bald man stands across from him, a tat on his scalp. "yeah, you! the hell you doin in the area, kid!?" Kai blinks, then.. a grin spreads across his face. bald man: "you do know where you're at right..?" he starts to grow closer.. his posture screaming nothing but threat. Kai smirks "foolish idiot!" *VVVT* suddenly.. short, floating cyan lines appear floating behind kai.. glowing with radiant blue life energy, the power of the soul incarnated. the bald man freezes in his tracks, sudden fear overtaking anger.
"i- i'm sorry! i didn't know it was you.. sir!" He doesn't know kai, just a last minute attempt to right his mistake. Kai: "SHUT UP!" *FWOOSH* The lines fly forward! sloppy.. straight up. the bald man recoils "huh..? he's.. SLOW!" he dodges effortlessly, jumping out the line's path. they slam into the dirt. He smirks "now i get it.. why a chump like you resides in sector 5!!" *VVVT* 2 lines appear by the man.. he grabs one "sword.." the line twists.. growing longer in his hand. forming into a glowing blade. then he charges in! "YOURE DONE!" Kai perks up, his grin deflating. *VVVT!* 5 lines appear beside him, they race in front of him, as he yells; "SHIELDDD!" a glowing cyan shield appears before him, protecting. *CLANG, CLANG* metal collides as the man sends kai rolling across the dirt. "ill give you props for line count! THATS ABOUT IT!!" kai pushes himself up, his breath ragged. energy pulses as forty more lines appear behind him.. he grabs one.. and it forms into a smaller blade.. man: "thats it..?" he smirks then charges in. Kai: "tch, dammit!" he dodges sword swings, bending his back, Then- his feet are swept from under him. head slamming into the dirt, spit shooting out his lips.
bald man: "Im bored of this!" he swings down, kai's eyes widen, certain death right before him! "DAMN IT-" *CLANGGGG!* the sword is sent flying out the mans hand.. bouncing in the dirt before- *ffft* It disperses into blue ash.. silence fills the scene.. kai's eyes widen.. shielding him.. a boy. messy black hair. a flowing black cloak. A white cross hilt in his hand.. a long cyan line protruding out of it. Kai's breath stop when a realization hits him.. "its.. you.."
(scene: sector 5, year: 2058, years earlier.)
The sun is starting to set. we see a young boy sitting atop a small rock, Face staring into the lake before him
enter: Aris Mamamoto.
messy black hair, his body wrapped by a thick blanket. His face staring into the reflection, something hidden deep in his mind. then- chatter behind him. Small boy: "yeah.. i just found him by the river, all by himself.." A younger version of kai stands behind him. 2 other boys with him. Kai steps up, placing a hand on Aris' shoulder. "hey.. what's your name??" Aris turns his head, hesitant at first. "Aris.." Kai grins "HA! that sounds like a girls name!" the other two boys glance, weirded out by the sudden stranger and situation. "we're leaving.." they turn, walking down the dirt path. but Kai sticks with Aris.. still giggling. Aris just stares at his face blankly. until-
*GRRR* A stomach turns, coming from Aris. Kai: "you good..?" Aris grips himself, moaning a bit "hungry.." kai blinks.. "stay here..!" he rushes off..
(scene: sector 5, year: 2069, present day) Aris stands.. shielding Kai from the bald mans attacks... his face still as blank n emotionless. Kai looks up in pure shock. Kai: "Aris...!"
