Part 4
Just then, another boy answered— "When tension overpowers Prakash's mind, his breathing starts to falter—and when you told us that someone was going to murder Raja, he must have been feeling uneasy due to that tension, which is why he drank that medicine as soon as he entered the room—and now after hearing his own name in that letter, he has once again fallen into tension—meaning he is feeling the need for that same medicine again."
"The Enigma had mixed poison in that medicine—which Prakash has already drunk once."
"What are you saying, Inspector? I do not want to lose my second son."
"Look, Papa, what is happening to Prakash?" a girl screamed loudly.
Prakash was bending down, clutching his stomach with both hands, and looking at the condition of his face, it was clearly evident that he was enduring limitless pain at this moment. The family members standing around wanted to hold him, but Prakash still managed to lie down on the floor. And then, clutching his stomach, he began to writhe agonizingly. Just then, a nineteen-year-old boy rushed towards the door and exited the room in the blink of an eye.
"Quickly pick him up, put him in the car, and take him to your hospital!" their father shouted.
The girl rushed to open the same back door through which the Inspector had sent the constables to catch The Enigma.
The three boys had just picked up Prakash, who was writhing on the floor, when foam began to come out of Prakash's mouth, his entire body stopped writhing, became stiff, and then went still. The girl had opened the door, but Prakash became dear to God (passed away) before reaching the door.
The Inspector took out his mobile and checked the time.
And as soon as he saw the time, the Inspector's hair stood on end. Because The Enigma had fulfilled his claim of killing Prakash at one o'clock and seven minutes. Tears had welled up in the eyes of the entire family.
Exactly ten seconds later, there was a vibration in the Inspector's mobile, and he saw a WhatsApp message from that same number.
"The Enigma has sent another message!" saying this much, he read the message aloud.
"It is one o'clock and eight minutes, Inspector. Meaning Prakash is dead. But fools, mourn Prakash later. First, save Avinash."
The last two words uttered by the Inspector had barely finished when the entire Haveli shuddered with a painful scream. After hearing Avinash's scream, everyone realized that a short while ago, when Prakash had started writhing from the poison, Avinash had rushed out of this room very quickly. The rest of the entire family, screaming and shouting like mad, came out of the room and went running towards the stairs. This was because they had guessed that Avinash's scream had been heard from the upper floor itself.
