Synopsis
The world of Cyberpunk is amazing when you don't look too deep into it, the technology is really cool and everything else is also cool. Yet living there is horrible for anyone who is not in the elites of the world. Real food are only for the rich who can pay it. Clean water is too costly for the normal person. Death is so normal to the point that there are betting pools for many people die in a day. Why I am saying this, you may ask? I, a person who love natural and love technology, got drop into Cyberpunk with no say in the matter. All that I got was a "gift" that I am going to use to try to cleanses this world. So wish me luck cause I am going to need it badly.

Chapter 1 - The landfill

Here is the grammar-corrected version, staying close to the original word count and voice:

I love nature and technology with all my heart, and I have always wanted to do something with that love for those two things.

Yet sadly, I was not smart enough, nor did I have the money to do anything with that love.

So I decided to work hard, because I was not going to let those shortcomings ruin my dreams at all.

I studied the best that I could with horrible WiFi and limited access to books, because being raised in the mountains with parents that don't make a lot of money is kind of rough.

But I had a good childhood, and my parents did their best to give it to me and my siblings.

Yet none of that matters anymore.

Why?

Because one moment I was getting ready for school and walking out the door to leave. I closed my eyes, and when I opened them again, I was in a landfill that smelled horrible and was filled with tech that does not really belong to my world.

Right now, I am sitting on a car while reflecting on my life, trying to figure out how I got here.

And I figured out where "here" is.

I am in the Night City Municipal Landfill.

Which means I am in Cyberpunk.

How do I know that, you may ask?

Well, when the game came out, I bought it with some money I had saved up and played the heck out of it, because I loved the tech in the game.

So I can recognize the vehicles pretty easily.

After I figured out where I was, I just sat down and did my best not to have a huge mental breakdown over the fact that I was no longer in my world.

Also, I have been given a "gift" inside my mind, a "gift" that I have always envied.

And that "gift" is being a Tinker from Worm, specialized in many fields.

For those that don't know what a Tinker is, it comes from Worm. It is basically a parahuman capable of creating advanced, fantastical technology far beyond modern science, usually within a specific, specialized field. A parahuman is a superpowered human.

And I am one now, but better I guess.

The type of Tinker that I am is called a General Systems, and all the fields within it are Ecology, Minimization, Sustenance, Augments, Arcology, Bio, Energy, Analysis, Alchemy, Vehicles, Prosthetics, Scraps, Ranged Weapons, Robotics, and Resources.

How do I know that I am a Tinker and all of this? That I don't have an answer for. I do know how to activate this power, yet I have not tested it because I am scared to use it.

But I know that I have to if I want to survive in this world.

So with a deep breath that I immediately regretted taking, I got up and started walking to find my way out of this landfill.

As I walked, I stopped to admire some of the tech, because I was seeing things that belonged to a world that, until this moment, I thought was only fictional. Yet here I was, standing in it.

I was also disgusted by all the garbage and how badly everything smelled, so lucky me that I can handle strong smells without throwing up.

As I walked, I was making a mental checklist of things I needed to do, like figuring out what timeline I am in, because that is the most important thing for me to know.

I froze quickly because I found something, or rather someone.

And that someone was Dexter DeShawn's dead body, just lying in a clearing.

So, good news: I kind of know what timeline I am in. Bad news: I am pretty far from the city.

Looking around, I don't see V's car from the Nomad path, so V is not a Nomad in this life, I think, at least.

Then I did the most reasonable thing I could do at the moment. I hesitantly looted Dexter DeShawn's body and found Plan B, his gun. It is a beautiful gun, but it is a bit big for my hands. Still, it is a gun that will keep me safe, even though I don't like hurting people.

I also found some magazines and some eddies in cash, and luckily he had a holster for Plan B, so I put it on, because it is not like anyone is going to bat an eye at me having a gun in this city.

Now I just have to figure out a way to get to the city, because I am not walking there. It is far too dangerous for me, given how many drive-by shootings there are in Cyberpunk canon.

"I am so screwed..." I said to myself as I sat down on the ground and rubbed my face.

Canon Cyberpunk and game Cyberpunk are kind of really different once you start to actually think about it. Like, some random person on the street could have cyberware that lets them kill a bunch of people easily, and that is horrifying to think about.

I took off my backpack and pulled out a bottle of water, then only drank a little bit of it, because clean, real water is really costly in this world.

After sitting there and thinking about what to do, I got up and went over to one of the cars nearby. It was a van. If I remember correctly, this type of van is called a Mahir Supron F3.

Anyway, I opened the door and hopped in to take a look at the inside and see if I could fix it up, which I should be able to do now that I am a Tinker.

The inside of the car was a bit dirty but not too bad. It just needs a good cleaning. It also has decent space in the back, though I would need to take out the seats for more room.

After looking around a little, I found what I think are the keys to the car, so I put them in and tried to start it.

"Damn it."

It didn't start.

I hopped out and went to the hood, then popped it open to take a look.

I didn't really see anything obviously wrong with it.

I guess it is time to use my Tinker power. I hope it does not overload my brain.

I took a deep breath and activated it.

"Huh..."

Now I fully understand everything related to the fields I mentioned earlier. I know how to make things tied to each one, like how to build a biodome for plants using Ecology technology.

But there is a bit of a downside to this power. I need tools and materials to work on the car. That downside, however, is offset by Scraps and Vehicles. I can improvise using the scraps around me and from other cars.

Let me explain those two fields. Scraps allows me to make things out of whatever is lying around, and while they are not the best quality, they work well enough. Vehicles allows me to build some of the best vehicles imaginable, including ones that are pure science fiction. Because I have both, I can make outstanding vehicles out of scraps that others simply could not compare to.

All of my fields work together and make each other better.

Like Energy, which allows me to create better power sources for technology and improves everything else as a result.

Anyway, I started looking around the landfill and ripping parts out of other cars for what I needed. Luckily, I was also able to find some tools to work with. They were old and rusty, but they worked, so I was not going to complain.

Once I gathered everything I needed, or quickly built the things I needed, I got to work on the car.

I also decided to fix it up and upgrade it a bit while I was at it.

"Time to get to work."

.

.

.

I really underestimated how long it was going to take to work on this car.

It took me roughly six hours to fix it up properly using the scraps around me.

There are some things I learned during those six hours.

The first is that my phone is different from the one I had in my world. It is still my phone, but it has been converted into one that belongs to this world, and it has a lot of things loaded onto it. It turns out I exist as a real person here. I am not a ghost in this world. Apparently, I am an orphan who was raised as a nomad in a now-dead clan. I also have a bank account, which is good I suppose, and a decent amount of money in it.

But I am homeless, so yay for me.

The second thing I learned is that I cannot turn my Tinker power off anymore. It turns out I only needed to activate it once, and now it is on permanently, functioning more like a passive ability. That is kind of annoying, because my mind tends to wander. While I was working on the car, I kept getting ideas for things I want to build later.

All of that aside, the van is looking really good. Like I said, I upgraded several things using what I had available. If I can get to a proper mechanic shop with the right tools, I can upgrade it even further.

The things I upgraded include the security system, making it much harder to break into. If someone does manage to break in, the car will emit a sound as loud as a fire truck so I can hear it from a distance. I also added some modifications to make the car quieter while driving, along with a bunch of other small improvements like better headlights and similar things.

Right now, I am walking around the landfill looking for more materials, because I have plans to build things, like an air and water purifier, which I will definitely need in this world. I am also planning to sell some of those things on a small scale.

While walking around, I found some guns that were no longer functional, but I kept them for later since I can disassemble them and use the parts to build something better suited for me. I also found some computers I am holding onto and plan to repair later.

After gathering everything I needed, knowing I can always come back for more, I hopped into the car and turned it on.

Oh baby. She sounds and feels amazing. I am absolutely in love with this car right now.

Taking a deep breath, I pressed the gas and started driving toward the city.

Wish me luck that I don't get shot on the way there.

[AN: Hello goblins, it your Favorite Hispanic daddy here with a new Fanfic cause I got another idea and I am writing it cause I want to and not of y'all got a say in it.

The MC of this fanfic is not a fighter at all, he will only ever really fight someone is purely cause it the last option that he have.

Also he is not be focusing on making weapons at all, sure he will make weapons sometimes but it will only be because he have to and not really cause he wants to.

Cyberpunk in lore is a horrible world to live in and there is like no real food anywhere, and most folk in night city eat kibble aka dog food.

Onto the Tinker power that the MC have, it from Worm, and took the power and kind of add somethings to it, now the fields that he have will be explain in the chapters but I will give you a better example for you to understand.

Bio allows the MC to build technology and technological constructs related to biology and altering biology. Such as operating tables and tools to modify biology, modifying bones to be super shock absorbent and dense, creating an artificial heart that gives someone an increased regeneration factor, and seamless biological replacement limbs. Creating homunculi, and other things.

This is just a quick summaries of Bio, there is more to it but we will get to the in the future.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy this story and comment.]
