Chapter 8 - Chapter 8

After school.

Kirara approached Viola with quick steps, her face filled with emotion.

Without warning, she shoved Viola harshly.

Viola lost her balance and fell to the ground. The Royal School uniform she wore was now dirtied by dust and soil.

"You bitch!" Kirara shouted before turning away, her expression twisted with frustration.

If the real Viola had been there, she would have retaliated without hesitation. But now it was Sofia inside that body—and Sofia wasn't brave enough to fight back.

Her hands clenched quietly.

Yet…

Viola chose to ignore it. She stood up slowly, brushed off her uniform, and said nothing.

Days passed.

Before they knew it, a week had gone by since Jota and Viola arrived at the Royal School.

And something unpleasant began to spread.

Kirara circulated rumors about a special relationship between Jota and Viola. The rumors spread quickly.

Because of this, Viola was ostracized by the female students at the Royal School.

But her seatmate, Wils, did not shun her and remained her desk companion.

Most of the female students disliked Viola.

Jota, the calm and handsome new teacher, had drawn the attention of many girls. The fact that he appeared close to a student named Viola sparked jealousy everywhere.

The classroom atmosphere changed.

During lessons, Jota continued teaching as usual—calm, focused, and professional.

But the students weren't truly paying attention.

Whispers and gossip filled different corners of the room.

Occasionally, hostile glances were directed toward Viola.

Jota ignored it all. His purpose at the Royal School was not to build the image of a perfect teacher—it was to hunt vampires hiding within the school.

And now, he had found a clue.

One of those vampires was in the very class he taught.

His name: Leon.

Jota obtained this lead through access to the student dormitories. On Leon's desk, he found traces of blood that had not been fully cleaned.

That was no coincidence.

After school, Jota approached Viola.

"I want to discuss something," he said quietly.

They went to meet James.

In the room, James listened with a serious expression. He himself had once been targeted by a vampire attack—the assault on his residence had not been a minor incident.

The intentions of the clown-like vampires who attacked earlier were beginning to reveal themselves.

They were targeting James.

Not merely to kill him—but to take his identity as the headmaster of the Royal School.

However, the evidence was not yet strong enough to conclude that Leon was a vampire.

After hearing Jota's explanation, James's expression grew grave. He immediately ordered an investigation into the background of the student named Leon.

Enrollment data, family records, and dormitory logs were examined one by one.

Meanwhile, Jota and Viola left the room.

They walked along the quiet corridor, waiting for further news from James.

The situation was growing increasingly complicated.

If Leon truly was a vampire in disguise, then his identity as a noble named Leon studying at the Royal School would all be nothing more than a fabrication.
